i went for my biometrics on May 29....and my I765 was touched on June 4....but my I485 hasn't been touched yet......

has this happened to anyone else??? i m worried if something is wrong....

Don't worry to much! , nobody understands how uscis works, the timelines are kind of funny, you are gonna get your process done soon, there is no reason to think the opposite, you already paid a lot of money to get this done, try to relax and have fun, and to be strong...wish you the best!!

I can see online 2 out of the 3 cases I filed , but not the case of my youngest boy, he in only 11 and he doesn't need to get fingerprinted, I'm wondering if this is the reason, just a little bit concern about it, I receive 2 NOA"S for him I-485 and I-765 maybe his case is gonna be faster for the same reason, lets wait, wait, wait and see

fille i360 vawa back in november the ask (RFE)good morel charecter

after i sent (rfe) on janurey the sent me Prima Facie for 180 . i have an approve i-130 but my ex wife she withe drew the pitition . the uscis try to interview my ex -wife(this is was befor the issu the Prima Facie ) the aske her about the i 130 but i was suprise when the uscis local office told my ex wife about my i-360 and she try to tell them am the abuser i know the vsc the not allowed to her the other sid of the story but my ex wif she try to mass my life we have kid together and she try to have me deported my qustion if she sent aletter to vsc state the im the abusr well eficted my vawa cas and it possibel the vsc the denid my pitition because of my wife i have vary strong case i sent alot of evidence and police report and one time when she palled a gun on me and my attoureny keep tell me relaxe im just know how my wif she will do every thing in her power to rovek my pitition and the Prima Facie exspier in july are they going to sent another

Try to relax, I understand so far, that USCIS can't contact your ex wife to let her know about your VAWA, of course she is gonna try to stop that, and they know that, It took me by surprise what you said, If you have a strong case for sure you're gonna get approve. About the prima facie, 15 to 20 days before it expires, your lawyer or you can request an extension, attach a copy of the one you have.

I haven't heard anything yet, I called the nice call center people, of course they never know anything, she said I have another 40 days of waiting, if 40 days pass and I don't hear anything, call back and they will put in a service request... I give up on waiting.. I'm gonna stop calling and stop checking my email, I'll just wait until I get a notice in the mail or until my attorney calls me.

I HAVE A QUESTION: With approved vawa am i supposed to send both i485 and i765 to Chicago lockbox? on my approval notice it says to send my i765 to vermont! pls helpp

There are two options:

1.- Self-petitioners who qualify as immediate relatives of U.S. citizens (spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21) do not have to wait for an immigrant visa number to become available. you can send your AOS to Chicago

2.- Self-petitioners who require a visa number (if you are or were married with a Permanent Resident) to adjust must wait for a visa number to be available before filing the Form I-485.

When you got your vawa approved you are placed in deferred action are also eligible for an Employment Authorization Card. To apply, USCIS Form I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization) should be filed with the Vermont Service Center. Applicants should indicate that they are seeking employment authorization pursuant to 8 CFR 274a.12 ------> option c(14)

I'm ready to file the adjustment of status after my Vawa petition got approved, after I filed for the VAWA, my legal name change , (divorce judgment my maiden name was restored), Should I use this new name in all the forms I need to file for the AOS, very confuse!

I see the processing time for VAWA has moved to January 29th 2008, I'm guessing my file will be coming up shortly, I'm February 7th 2008, wish me luck. I'm thinking I will hear something this week, let's hope its an approval and not RFE, I will keep you posted

I was very young, married for 14 years, I have never married to anyone other than him, He has never married to anyone oter than me. , 2 biological kids.

J- Pictures of my oldest son injuries, his dad bit him

K- Copies of all restraining orders against my ex - temporaries and final after trial

4- Certified court order after trial w certificate of compliance w/VAWA

5- Evidence of Good Moral Character

A- Police clearance

B- California Dept of Justice Report

C- Orange county superior Court record (certified)

I sent my vawa February 2008 as well, I can't wait to get some news for them, I don't know how many times a day I check my email to see if there is something new, I notice that the last update about my case was 03/16/09 I believe this is about my 3rd prima facie. For now, keep praying and good luck
