  1. All airlines will offer a wheelchair to the elderly passengers, if you would request the service for your mom the. Someone will go to her seat on the aircraft and take her on a wheelchair and show her the next flight gate or they will wait with her until they get her to her next flight seat onboard if the transit time is not too long.

wish your mom will have a great and safe travel :)

  2. O man i remember those freaking days when we were depressed because of the embassy and the waiting ....now we have been here in the US for more than 3 years ..wow .time is going so fast here my homie lol

oh i forgot to say and you are already a us citizen now .wooooooow

Thank you my friend and do you even remember these days now? My advise to everyone here is to hang on and just know the consulate are doing their work and it takes time due to the enormous amount of applications and cases but eventually you will get your visa and will start your lives with you beloved ones :) if you are in AP for more than 3-4 months, contacting your congresman would help expediting the process isA

  3. Sure these things will add the emotional touch to the case but seriously they care the most about papers and guessing....I mean if they asked him some question about you such as where do you work or where did you go for college and he didn't know, pictures will not help then as anyone can take pictures with anyone but knowing almost everything about your spouse is not an option... Makes sense?

  4. Lol i did not reply to any topics in the last 3 years but your case looks very good....first visit marriage isn't an issue at all and your ages difference is absolutely acceptable....they don't have time to read chat logs and it means nothing to them but pictures together and with his family, gifts, and phone bills show international calls and numbers may be helpful. The only thing I can think of now is the financial support. You should read about it and make sure you meet the requirements then after the interview get ready for an extended portion of time called the hell AP or Adminstration processing before he gets his visa. Good luck

  5. hey :)

OK let's start from the beginning. you should be there 2 hours before your interview and dress normally, I mean do not wear something that has the American flag or something that looks like you are trying to look different than how you really are.

try to be calm since the interview is nothing but normal questions about you and your wife.

you should be nice and smiling to the consular even if he/she tried to provoke you as the consular is well trained and knows how to read your body language and face expressions.

take proofs of genuine marriage with you such as pics, emails, phone bill that shows her phone numbers every 5 minutes lol.

the time of interview is nothing as i have seen some people get one houe interview and got refused while some others interview was 5 minutes and they granted the visa right away.

if anything happened that made the consular refuse your visa or delay it then you have to ask why and what is the problem.

don't panic and be yourself and when you are back come to VJ immediately and tell us that you got the visa isA :)

Good luck we rabena e2adem ma feeh el kher.

  6. Thanks! I love taking lots of photos! I will be in Alex sept 3-9.

    Hey there :)

actually to be honest with you this consulate drove me crazy since they have no measures and everything depends on the consular him or herself but your case looks pretty nice since both of you have a master degree, both of you are working and etc...

the only thing that might be a red flag is the age thing but I have seen many people get approved right away and take the visa within a week despite the age gap was kind of big.

I don't understand what do you want to do actually since you have applied for I-129F which is a visa for fiancee. are you going to get married in Egypt this time?? is he going to go with the I-129F's visa?? are you guys going to file CR1 after getting married in Egypt??

you better know what you want to do exactly since this trip is not easy and taking a long time and any mistake might cost you months of waiting.

    Good luck :)

  7. I think it would be better to share good ideas and opinions rather than these (I will call it non-smart) individual opinions

Fraud doesnt know a country, its every where from the middle east to here including Russia.

Hey man how is it going over there?? Actually i guess your friend is making a big mistake with trying to get some of her property. I am sure he did not contribute in this property by any means and so he has nothing to do with it and actually how long has he been working??

I guess he needs to talk to her and solve their problems if this marriage is honestly legitimate and if not then he just try his chances with the USCIS which I believe will not carry any good to him.

hopefully isA they will solve all the problems and happiness will prevail once again.

  8. Sorry I think you got me confused with someone else, we are only 2 yrs apart. I am two yrs older than him. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Inshallah

oh lol no i didn't get confused , I was just saying that it happens IF the age gap is big.

anyways I am sure there is something wrong going on with your case as what happens usually is that you get your NO2 MAXIMUM 3 months after you get the NO1

I hope you will find out what the problem is very soon and will get it solved.

Good luck and keep us updated :)

  9. Hi guys, thanks for your replies. We filed for I-130(feb.17,2010) and I-129F(mar.2,2010).

We first started with our congressman, his office said in October that our case was actively being processed after the transfer(June 10) but his office closed down-lost the election.

So we moved to the Senator's office, his office sent a inquiry and USCIS answer was that CSC was backlog and that our case was transer to OPFO(Local USCIS) for a quickier adjudication, yeah right!!! I thought it was wierd that it got transfered to Florida, just down the road from me, USCIS said that was just a coincidence and to wait for adjudication. This week the Senator has sent another inquiry as to why its taking so long and why I am waitng for an interview when my husband is overseas. Waiting for thier reply (30DAYS)

We also have an attorney but we havent gotten far with that either. Just sent inquiry same answer: actively being processed.

    Im so frustrated and depressed.

I was thinking of sending that Form DHS-7001 - but I just dont know. Dont want to piss USCIC off. I want to ask my attorney if she recommends it but I owe her a balance. Feel so embarrased to call and ask anyways, her secretary answers and never gets back to me. Any suggestions.

    I'm losing my head guys.

that happens sometimes when the age gap between the husband and the wife is big, in such case they feel this mariage is not a real one and the purpose is just the immigration thing.

keep on tracking your case ane be patient and you will get to what you want isA :)

  10. My hubby and I are very far from being is this Final Review Club. Wishing we were here already. Friday will be our 10th month since we recieved NOA1. Inshallah, we will get some news (NOA2) after December. Thanks god, that I will be going to Egypt next month. Miss my honey sooooo much.

Congrats to all for being this far in your journeys.

10 months waiting for your NO2?? that's toooooooooo much , I am sure there is something wrong and yout should figure it out. Good luck and anything you want to know just ask and all of us will help you :)

  11. well counelor officers seem to happy new year eve while thousands of immigrants are seprated from their familes for many years ,well sounds unfair to me , well i was promised that i will ve my visa within six weeks tomorrow is the begining of the seventh week and as usual i learned that the estimated period can reach to 3 or 6 six months and even

more than one year i feel am appying for a doctorate and really if it were in the immigration rules i guess i can earn it with good grades

man you need to be patient with this process otherwise you will lose your mind....some people wait for more than a year waiting for their visas but eventually they get it with patience.

good luck man and update us with your case news.

  12. thanks disconnection for the reply ,well really you are doing a graet job here as the number of pepole stuck in the complicated immigration procedures is increasing really i admit on reading your articles i somehow aquired some knowledge about some points especialy the difference between ap/ar

anyway i knew from some connections and trustful websites there will be more and more complication in visa issuance till the end of christmas ,well there are alot of threatens and fears that what happened the last christmas from the nigerian guy last christmas can repeat again and this will be the end of obama especially after the scandel of wikileaks there could be any sort of revenge from the usa so whatever any immigrant will do will never be effevtive until the end of christmas you know national security always come first so i guess waiting till the end of these days may be better anyway in cairo

yes I think you better wait until january as anyways the embassy is almost closed in this time of the year due to the vacations, I mean the consulars do usually spend the christmass vacations with their families in the U.S.

anyways, keep us updated with anything new with your case and we all here will save no efforts to advice and help you until you get your visa insha2 allah :)

  13. well i donot know whether to thank you guys for comforting or shall i share the suffer with you

well really it is somehow comforting that i am not the only onw who is suffering from this monester AR in cairo embassy

well the journey started on 11 nov 2004 when my family decided to apply for me well it is my dad ( usc petitioner ) and mom (usc ) and two younger brothers (usc and lpr) immigrated to the us leaving me alone for more than seven years on a hope to catch them someday and as i reached te last step in the cairo embassy i was put in the adminstrative review well the kept my passport and white notice that i will get my visa 4-6 weeks and now i am in the fifth week nothing received ,well really i thought to call and say i really wanna cancel my immigration i am fed up the whole seven years and i donot want stay in this false dream any more , so what review they need if i didnot leave egypt since i was born or this a kind of torture to all middle easterns , really i am about to send a letter to the embassy

asking them to send my passport and i donot wish to have the honour of visiting holy america .if it were not for my family who are counting the days till i come

whatever i will wait and wait nothing except wait ,what a really wonder about is that the egyption authorities take much shorter time to give this clearance or name check ,thought i hope they they can train the american employees or give some advises or training courses or may be more technological scanning equipments may be it helps .

Actually, I am so sorry to hear that but the thing you should do now is to ask your mom and dad to contact their congressman. when congressman is inquiring the situation of your case the embassy act faster and they do their work more efficient.

please keep us updated and isA very soon you will be with your family :)

  14. Please check out this site. It tells you everything you need in order to get married in Egypt. No single affidavit needed. Please read the guides on this site for info regarding filing CR1. They are located at the top of the page. 10 days is enough time to get married in Egypt. Just be sure to make sure the consulate is open before you go. They have short operating hours so be sure to get there early. That info is also on the site below.

    http://cairo.usembassy.gov/consular/acs12.htm

yes 10 days are enough to get married in Egypt for sure. First of all you both will go to the american embassy (The American Cetizens Services) and he will tell them he wants to marry in Rgypt and need an Affadavit of Marriage. Then you both need to go to Mogama3 el Ta7rer and stamp his passport the triangle stamp (residency stamp) . then to masla7et gawaz el aganeb fe medan lazoughly. and you should have your ID and he should have his Passport, and the Afidavit of marriage from the embassy, also take 5 personal pics for each one of you. hmmmmmm i think that's it.

and after you get married there they will give you a receipt and if you will go on a honeymoon or something then i think you should ask the guy there to write the name of both of you as a bride and groom and stamp it so in any hotels they would let you stay together.

Now you are married and enjoy your time together . And after he goes back to the U.S you will have to deal with the rest of the papers and looooooooooooooong journey with the embassy but that comes later so don't ask about it now :)

    Good luck

  15. No I don't hate you, like I said I'm hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. Whatever is meant to be will be. However, I have been doing a lot of research on the embassy and AP, and I have seen where previous K1 visa applicants received their visa's within 2 weeks of the interview, so I know its not immpossible. We will do whatever we have to and deal with whatever comes our way. I know the chance of him being placed in AP is great, but there's nothing wrong with hoping and praying he doesn't :)

right :) you do your best and God will bring you what he wants :)

good luck and i wish he will get his visa in no time

  16. Oh wooow that is crazy, similar name and birthdate...my fiance's name is Mohamed too  I know its a very common name (actually its the most popular name in the world :) )and I'm hoping we don't have any problems, but I'm trying not to get too excited and just prepare myself. Our case just spent 3 weeks in AP @ NVC and I hope thats the only delay we'll have. I will be going to Egypt soon and spending some months with him there, and attending the interview with him and hopefully we will return together. I also typed up over 100 possible questions with the answers and most of them he knows and doesn't need to look for the answers, but some he needs to study on. Thanks again and welcome to the USA!! :)

Good luck b ut don't expect him getting his visa before 6 months from the interview , i know you will hate me now but i am just telling the truth ( they give a hard time to married ppl so what do you think would happen to the fiancee visa??

i hope i am wrong and he will get it in no time but if not then don't be so angry and impatient

    Good luck
