Congratulations on your marriage!
We are in GA, Fayette County.
Kathryn ~ I think your idea of a meet up is great!

Ilovedram: Thanks for the suggestion. This bio. notice did not say, "We were unable to process..." This one looks exactly like the first one I got except for a new bio date, the code is '2' (previous one was '3'), my name is misspelt & the A# is incorrect.
-
I tried calling the phone number today as I noticed when re-reading the bio. notice that my A# is wrong on the second bio. notice, too. But the phone service is from Monday to Friday. Will call on Monday. I feel there has been a mistake made somewhere.

Thanks for the replies. This just really sucks that it took so long to realize the prints were no good, if that is the case. I was really hoping for an approval notice within the next month or so. Now it is an additional 3 weeks simply to re-take biometrics & then who knows when to hear from them again. I feel so disheartened.

Congratulations!
An update on me that I have started a new thread on for input, but I just wanted to let you March filers know I have had movement. I received another biometrics notice plus my name is spelt incorrectly this time ~ yay...
-
Of course, I can hardly contain myself when I see a letter from USCIS in the mail today. Riiiiip it open & it is another freakin I-797C - I have another bio. app. on the 08/22. What has happened? I did biometrics on 04/15!!! 3 & a half months of waiting after my original bio. for another appointment?
Does this seem correct? Should I call the mis-information line or just have biometrics done, AGAIN??
Oh!! And my name is now MISSPELT on this NOA. There is an 'e' in the middle of my first name when there is not supposed to be. Previous correspondence has had my name spelt correctly.
Man, I am so bummed out right now!!
What freakin w@nkers!!!!!!!!!!

Love Nando's!!
I actually marinated some chicken pieces last night for supper in hot Nando's sauce that I bought from Sainsbury's recently in the UK ~ DEEEElish!
Check out South African online food stores as they sell it, too.
Thanks for sharing!

Translating documents?
Try contacting your local school board & see if they need an interpreter / translator. My school district has a high immigrant population and we are always looking for interpreters & for certain school documents / paperwork to get translated.
Also, one of the other ESOL teachers in my department is from Senegal & he does a lot of translating documents (in the private sector) into Arabic or French as these are his other languages.
Good luck

I took the extension letter, my stamped biometrics letter & greencard on my recent trip to London & had no problem. Immigration @ JFK looked at all of the above & in DC (I stepped out of the airport for a smoke) they looked at all of it PLUS my driver's license (?). If your wife's name is different in her passport vs. her USCIS documentation, take a copy of your marriage certificate, too. Delta wanted to see this when I was checking in, in Atlanta.
Have a good trip!

I only 'saw' my case online about a month after VSC received my I-751. It'll come, hang in there
-
-
Have there been any April filers approved out of VSC?
I would love X 100 to be approved now but I was under the impression this ROC would take roughly 9 months from VSC. Not to say that my anxiety about the matter is not right under simmering anyway!
-
Congratulations!!!

I second that.
Off topic: It has always seemed obscene to me the amount of money celebs, singers & sports 'stars' make in the USA in contrast to the cops, nurses, teachers etc.
