I NEED ANSWER TO THE SAME QUESTION PLEASE???? PLEASE HELP????
-
I got the same letter. Only for my dad though. No letter for my mom,(they both arrived the same time). I will call them tomorrow, first thing in the morning
-
Finally just hung up with the customer service and they said my father's case is ON REVIEW. Said I should hear from them again in the next couple weeks. Crossing my fingers for CASE COMPLETE.
Yay! It will be okay!
My parents interview is within 6-8 hours!

Embassy : Manila, Philippines
I hope someone can help me.
I had to cancel our appointent due to the medical.
I understand that SLEC will reschedule the interview with the embassy.
My question is this, do you think SLEC has a block of dates reserved especially for them?
We find out the CULTURE results at the end of Nov / 1st week of Dec; the issue is from what I am reading here that there are no appointment times available in Nov, Dec, & Jan.
Question 2 : Mine expires Dec 28. With that information, do I need to call or email the embassy to request an extension or is it automatically extended due to the medical?
Hope someone can help me here.
Thank you so much.
Hi Kabayan,
My parents' original appointment was September 9, due to Sputum result they cancel and waited for 2 months. November 7 they called and St Luke's rep ask my parents to come in November 11-Monday. They got their vaccines and releasing. BUT the problem was, they were trying to schedule them but they can't go through the system of Manila Embassy. So I have my parents go home without appointment. Just a letter of instruction. I scheduled only and luckily I got for November 14!!!!
Usually, St. Luke's will make an appointment before they release.
I keep calling St. Luke's and US Embassy too.... I want to confirm all the details.
You mean your medical will expire on the 28th? I saw the calendar of appointments available until November 25... No available appointment for Thanksgiving Holiday after 25th.
Hope this helps...

I received mine 2 days after my interview.
-
no I DONOT as my income is sufficient alone. It's just I put the wrong number on part 5, no. 19. on form i-864ez
I have sent out the new one, and NVC recived them the 1st of Nov, 2013. They just have not reviewed it before sending the email checklist again!
but I believe this is just a false checklist.
Try to call them and verify. I do received checklist, it's confusing since I already sent "all" requirements. They told me, some of paper they received haven't open yet.... Better to call them though. Good luck!
-
THank you guys! I got the earliest available appointment on the 14th of November. Woot. Woot.

Hi VJ Family,
My parents are clear with their medical. *finally, after 2 months of waiting for sputum result.
NOW, my questions is, they ask my parents to RESCHEDULE their appointment, they just gave number to call. Where is the better way to reschedule appointment now, Manila or here (USA)????
Thank you.
-
They have to wait for the Sputum result which is 3 months... and if the results are negative St. Lukes will schedule them for an interview in US embassy Manila whatever spot they have available.
Michey, Thanks for your input.... is it 3 months? I believe for my parents only 2 months....
It depends on the available interview dates. Most probably there are still open slots for November, at most will be December.
Apple, yes, hoping for November interview.
-
He will be fine. Good luck and congratulations in advance.

Hi, anyone who's waiting for St. Luke's sputum result?
My parents will call St. Luke's on November 7th for their sputum test result my question is how long will they reschedule parents' interview at Manila Embassy???
Thanks in advance guys.
-
Congratulations!!!! So happy for you!!!!
-
that's why it's really advantage if they have advance medical.. yan nag gawin ko sa mama ko.
pero pina pre-medical kuna sya sa davao doc. so far negative naman ung x-ray nya.
dalhin nya lang ang result..
I had them advance medical thought our Family doctor, both turns out negative on their x-ray. But still something came up with St. Luke's.
I don't think you can do "advance" medical at St. Luke's if you don't have scheduled interview yet. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you rainyblue for your response. I have the same questions. My parents' interview will be this 9th of September. And I'm trying to prepare them for possible questions might ask and documents might be needed.
-
Hi Jorick,
My parents' interview will be on September 9 (Yahoooo! ) I ask them to go for medical 2 weeks prior, today is their 2nd day at St. Luke's.
Good luck to your son's interview! Have him do his medical to have peace of mind I guess
Cheers!

Try to call NVC, it will be a long wait though. In my case, I received AOS invoice where I can sign in online to pay, I just have to put case number and invoice number. Did your friend provided email address? NVC usually email the agent or petitioner. Right when I pay $88 for AOS processing fee, they send me another invoice to pay for Visa Processing fee. Good luck and hope it helps.

No. Read through the instructions for the I-864 and I-864A. Your husband is filling out the I-864A as your qualifying household member and your incomes will be combined together on your I-864. Your husband is not acting as a joint sponsor.
THank you very much!!!! I'm ready to send this form.
-
I just want to clarify things: sorry for all the confusions, I just don't want to delay this process.
Since, my husband is signing I-864A, Husband don't need to file another I-864 being a joint sponsor?
-
Great! Great!!!! Thank you guys! Mwah!
-
Yay! Thank you very much!
Question number 2: On Part 3 Number 2, asking: Check a box: I am sponsoring the following family members immigrating at the same time or within 6 months of the principal immigrant named in Part 2 (My Mom). Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition,
meaning I don't have to write down my DAD as a Family Member 1? THanks for all your help guys!

Hi VJ Family,
I'm USC petitioning my parents. My "own" income doesn't meet poverty guidelines and I'm filing taxes with my husband, OUR combined income meet poverty guideline: My question is, Do I have to submit another I-864 for him as a joint sponsor or I-864A will be enough to support our document? Please help. Thanks a lot.
-
I am petitioning my parents too. I am USC. After choosing an agent, I pay the AOS (online) $88 for both case. And I'm in the process of signing I-864.
As for the choice of agent, I know that NVC will received it soon.
Hope it helps and anyone, PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong.
Good luck to us!

My husband is 22 years older than me. CO never point it out. It never been an issue during the interview. As long as your relationship is genuine. Good luck.
