Case completed yesterday!

Whew... thank goodness.

All these 8 million milestones and increments of waiting do a lot to tear down a person's motivation and patience.

Just letting you all know as I have found, looking at timelines of other people have helped me a lot.

I checked the online payment system today. Interestingly they have generated IV bill w/o accepting DS3032 - or at least sending the notification - anyway I paid it right away!

I paid the AOS fee and it shows as PAID in online system now. Still no email or notification from NVC. They will send me another email with I-864 instructions or I should just send them right away?

Now since your Fee has been paid, go to the bottom of the reciept page and print the cover letter, then follow the link to the instructions for AOS print the I-864 EZ or I-864, whichever applies to you. and mail it in. You dont have to wait for their email or notice.

Others , please chime in with your experience. that is what I did for my two cases.

hey i have received the DS3032 in the mail however i want to email the form ...i have not received the email yet. Am all ready to send the form when i read that you received the DS3032 via email and it has a barcode?????coz if we emailing we just use the template on the NVC shortcut site.

does the email of 3032 have a barcode???

They sent my DS3032 via email. It has barcode plus our NVC#. Should she send this one or she can just use the previous one - that she made by printing the blank DS3032 and completing it - to NVC?

If you give them your email addresses, they will send you all the information via email. The AOS bill, THe DS3220 and the IV bill. They will send you the bills and thus, the permission to send the relevant documents. THey will NOT send you the actual forms but will direct you by a link where you can download the forms and information that you will need.

They will send you the DS3220 form when you generate your AOS, I-864 bill. It's all in the same package.

If you're confused, I suggest you also read the guides at your leisure to figure out what you need to know.

My advice is, one you get your NVC number, make sure you call and give the operator both your email addresses.

The operators cannot give you an IIN, it will be included in your documents.

Hey everyone...

If I may suggest? As soon as you hear your NVC number on the AVR, call and speak to an operator and them him/her yours and your spouse's email addresses. You will save yourselves a lot of time in getting information and RFEs, god forbid, you get any.

This is crazy. My wife send all documents via DHL to the place that I work. It got there by Monday. It has been signed by one of our staff. Now she doesn't know where our documents are..... I mean it's driving me crazy... Thanks to NVC that hasn't assigned the number yet cause otherwise if I was about to send documents I may either have shoot myself or ... the wall!

I can't believe it. The package got there Monday 10:17 am, signed by our post office staffs, delivered to our department around noon, signed by this lady and now on wednesday returning from my business work, now is missed! in fact she didn't even remember she has signed for it, thanks god that our post office staffs had her signiture.

There is something that is really strange about all that. Jealousy? Hate? Interesting you say you want to shoot yourself and not the alleged dingbat that signed for your package then "lost it". Maybe someone has cold feet, change of heart? It happens.

No I was just worried that they may come after me and arrest me for shooting her :& , how can she know what documents were in that package though? it doesn't say "to my love" in the envelop.... I don't know, I let her be for couple of hours tomorrow morning I will go for it again... it's stupid... Thanks god my sister is coming from my country so my wife can give her another bundle of documents, but .... we have lost 70 $ plus pain and emotional suffering ... my wife got into tears when she heard the news... poor girl

No all you need to be is married, if you are married under 2 years upon US entry ( with your Visa ) you will get the CR1 and have to remove conditions in 1 year 9 months approx. If you are married over 2 years upon US entry ( with your visa ) you will get an IR1 which is good for 10 years

I just wish we can get our NVC # ASAP. I just hate waiting and waiting and waiting.

I can run 40 miles if you tell me so but I can't wait.

Trust me, I do my best to tell the truth at all times. I even told POE that I was seeing my fiance at 18 and 19. They gave me funny looks, grilled me, and gave me even more funny looks but they always let me through in the end. I'd rather not say I'm just visiting friends, you never know when they might ask for more details. I'd rather not get caught in a lie. Haha. =)

I agree that NVC was way nicer than USCIS has ever been to me. I'm not even as nervous when I call them. And I have this giant issue with calling people on the phone. I have no idea why.

But hopefully someone has some imput on my next issue.

Age is just a number, that is very very true, and I'm sure maturity plays a big role in this sort of thing as well.

So, I'm worried about my interview simply because I'm barely 20. ): I like to round up. Please don't ask me why.

I've known my husband since 04-05. We met randomly on the game Ragnarok Online and we were great, amazing friends up until 07, in which we took the next step and started dating. We've visited each other several times. He joined the US Army in July 2008 and from that point it because very hard to see each other. We got the chance this past February however and, we decided that we couldn't stand being apart anymore. We would have waited longer to marry, but his job (military) is very unpredictable and I never know when he'll get leave. So that's another reason. But mainly we married because we are best friends, we're deeply in love with each other and there is so many other reasons. Oh, and we never have awkward silences and there is never a dull moment with us. (I'll stop going on about it now.) But my family has met him several times, and they loved him and I've met his family and it was the same outcome.

We have years worth of evidence and piles of chat logs, mountains of pictures, snail mail letters, I still have one of the roses he sent me as a ''just because'' and I'm sure it won't be a giant problem. I'm just worried, simply because they may think that I'm not old enough to know what I want.

I know there are some things that I am still learning about and I sure as heck aren't sure what I want to do career wise (which is why I am taking general studies). At 14 when I first met him, I never thought that we'd be where we are today, but this is what I want, and I've never faltered with these thoughts and feelings.

I just had to vent guys. Thank you so much for being such amazing friends and supports. =)

I called today. They haven't received it yet. And they said it's about a 2-4 week wait now. Wonder what that could mean...California should get it's butt in gear. >: (

Just called NVC. spoke to a nice lady. gave her the NVC assigned numbers. She asked if i wanted to recieve forms in my email and i said yes. So she said,'we will send out forms and stuff today to your email" . What??

what that tells you, Once you have NVC case number, Dont wait around. Call and speak to someone and give them your email address. And they will email the forms to you.

Also spoke regarding my child's case and she said i could sign for him since he is underage. And she said, DS-3032 is the only form that can be returend via EMAIL.

True. If you want to have it done quickly you should be on their back.

Also according to Ling Che guideline you don't need to wait for them to send you the form. you can download the form, fill it, generate barcode, place it and send it. If you wait for them to send forms to you, that will take forever.

I'm here 2. Approval July 17. I'm out of town for the rest of the month and I don't think according to timeline there is going to be huge change till end of the month.

My wife is going to send 230 and 3032 plus all other documents with DHL tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. So I think I will start the process by the end of this month. I read through guidelines tons and tons of times. Doesn't seem to be very complicated. It's just time consuming and multiple visit to post office.

Let's be in touch for remaining of process with the wish of reunion ASAP.
