I really don't know how to thank you all for your help!
I will email now the consulate and keep my finger crossed that the naturalization certificate is enough!
I cannot believe how stupid I am!

Here is what I was reading (I can't believe I am realizing it now!!!)
2. BIRTH CERTIFICATES: The original or certified copy of the birth certificate of each person named in the application, including the person who filed the original petition, is required. Birth records must be presented for all unmarried children under age 21, even if they do not wish to immigrate at this time (if children are deceased, so state giving year of death). The certificate must state the date and place of birth and the names of both parents. The certificate must also indicate that it is an extract from official records. If you or any children were adopted, you must submit a certified copy of the final adoption decree.
Unobtainable birth certificate: Your birth record may not be obtainable because, e.g., your birth was never officially recorded; your birth records have been destroyed; or the appropriate government authority will not issue one. In such a case, please obtain a certified statement from the appropriate government authority stating the reason your birth record is not available. With the certified statement you must present secondary evidence such as: a baptismal certificate that contains the date and place of birth and both parent’s names providing the baptism took place shortly after birth; an adoption decree for an adopted child; or an affidavit from a close relative, preferably the applicant’s mother, stating the date and place of birth, both parent’s names, and the mother’s maiden name. An affidavit must be executed before an official authorized to take oaths or affirmations. Information regarding the procedures for obtaining birth certificates is usually available from the embassy or consulate of the country concerned.

Thank you very much for your reply!
My fiancè is the US citizen (he wasn't born in the US, he got his citizenship through naturalization).
I am the beneficiary.
I was reading again the forms needed for the interview and it seems I have to bring also the birth certificate of the petitioner (my fiancè).
Well I don't have it and there is no time to get it now (in one week he will never have the time to request it, translate it and send it to me).
Please tell me that for the Consulate is enough the naturalization certificate stating his country of birth!
Thank you

Please I need urgent help!
I am the beneficiary and I will have interview next week (k1 visa).
I am panicking! I am reading that my fiancè (us citizen) will need the birth certificate?
Is it true?
Is enough the naturalization certificate?

Hello!
I am almost ready for my interview next week in Naples-Italy!
I am not able to find my vaccination record, will I have some problems during the medical if I go there without it?
I will bring the tax return of 2008 and the last paystub my fiance sent me is dated 06/06/2009. Do I have to ask him to fedex the latest asap?
Thank you!

Hello Italians!
I am almost ready for my interview next week
I am not able to find my vaccination record, will I have some problems at Istituto Varelli if I go there without it?
I will bring the tax return of 2008 and the last paystub my fiance sent me is dated 06/06/2009. Do I have to ask him to fedex the latest asap?
Thank you!

From what you wrote I understood that I have to register it in Italy too.
Is it mandatory? Do I have to do it right after my marriage?
Thanks again!
I spoke to my friend today who married in Vegas thinking it was a joke, he is shocked! In Italy it can take up to 9 years to cancel a marriage and there's no way to get married in church if you are a divorced. And they want to get married in church (family tradition)
-
So I think I should call him first thing tomorrow! Thank you very much!
I will tell him to start donating.....you never know.
What about the Italian City Hall? Once you marry in Italy in the Catholic church you have to register it also to City hall and what he should bring? The divorce of the first marriage and certificate of the new one. Or maybe get an annulment of the first one (how to ask it from Italy?)
I am very confused. I don't want to scare him with my crazy talk so I want to be sure I know what I am talking about!
-
No problem for me. I will claim my marriage but I am wondering for my friends who married in Vegas and now they are not a couple anymore.
Should I tell them that they have to divorce (actually one of them wants to propose to his new girlfriend).
This will be bad news because he wants to get marry in a church and in Italy if you are a divorced you cannot marry in a church anymore.
-
Thank you.
So when I will be married and visiting Italy and they ask me if I am married (of course not friends or family but authority) I should answer yes.
Or they will say that till is not certified in Italy is not valid? Will I be single or married in my Italian papers? I know friends who married in Las Vegas and they didn't register the marriage in Italy so their status is "single"?
I am thinking about that because of papers I will have to fill for the italian IRS and pension.
Thanks again.

Be carefull to buy a ticket thinking that you will rebook it later.
I found once in this forum a girl that was granted with the visa waiver program only 8 days (total stay 7 days + 1 day for possible delays).
So don't count on it too much you may find yourself with a visa of few days.
I think that the POE won't be happy to see you staying 90 days after what happend but more important how can you show strong ties to your home country staying away for almost 3 months (if you are a student bring all evidence, translated! If you are self-employed bring even more evidence!)
I wish you good luck.

Sorry for posting here but I don't know where else to do it.
I was wondering if my future marriage in the US it will be valid in Italy.
I always thought, for example, that marrying in Las Vegas wasn't recognized here.
Thanks

Thanks, you scared me I thought that he had to show an income of 90K and plus! BTW that would be great!
So he is above the poverty line, can I relax tonight? I already started shacking when I read your post!
Buona notte!

Vespa Rossa what do you mean by Naples requires 5x the poverty line? Does it mean that my fiancè has to show property for 90k?
-
Thanks!
Keep in touch.

Ciao!
I am the beneficiary. My fiancè received packet 3 by email. I was waiting for it by mail and surprised it ended up on the junk folder so it tooks 3 weeks to discover it.
Hopefully I will have the interview by the end of August.

Hello everyone,
I received cris email that NOA2 was sent to my fiancè on April 30th 2009.
We were waiting the packet 3 from the Naples Embassy by mail. At some point (end of May) I start worring about the documents I was supposed to receive.
So I called the Embassy and they said that they sent the packet 3 to the email adress of my fiancè. Well, it finished in spam so he didn't noticed it (sigh!).
Now we are gathering all the papers for packet 3 and is taking a little long because he had to request a double copy of his last taxes and other papers.
Now I am a little worried about the time occured between NOA2 and packet 3 (I think the Embassy will receive my packet 3 completed at the end of June).
I read somewhere that the NOA2 is valid 4 months. That means that mine will expire on August 30th.
Do you think I will make it by that time to fill up also packet 4 and have the interview or is gonna be a problem?
Many thanks!

Hi,
I was travelling once within the US and they checked if my I-94 was valid. It was at Washington DC airport flying to Vermont. I don't know if it would have been a problem with expired visa. Are you sure guys that is enough the marriage certificate? She doesn't have US ID and if they check they may think she is overstaying and create problems.
-
Thank you very much, I will wait even though I remember some threads saying that they never receive packet 3 and they had to request it. Will they send it to the home address of the beneficiary?
Do you know at this point how much it will cost me for these next forms to fill?
Thanks again!
Advance parole valid for work travelling?
in Working & Traveling During US Immigration

Hi,
I entered on a K1 visa few days ago. I got my EAD stamped on my passport and I just had an interview with a company asking me to travel to Europe as soon as I got the travel document ready.
I would love to accept that job but I am very confused about the purpose of advance parole.
Is it only for emergency trips to your home country or you can use it unconditionally to travel anywhere?
I read that many people filling it they didn't put the reason of travel because they were scared that seeing the vacation purpose they would have refused it.
Many thanks!
