by the way, I met the lady yesterday while at the bio. She had just finished her interview. I saw her getting in the office with me and getting out at the same time as me. I talked to her how was her intevirew and she told me how much she was freaking out about the interview and it was so simple. That made me feel better. hopefully it makes some of you here feel better too.

update on my application. I had my bio done yesterday on june 3rd. walk in and it was done in only 15 minutes .. My appointment is supposed to be today on the 4th.

Received the notice for Bio. Appointment is on 06/4/2013. Update my info.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about walk in for Bio. Do i need to call the local office or should I just walk in and see if they would let me take it? I think as far as I know our local office is not very busy.

Got the email notification this morning that today they mailed me Biometrics Notification.

Received date may 6th 2013, Priority date may 6th 2013 and notice date May 8th 2013.

Recieved my NOA today. notice date is may 8th.

Inky, yeah I am applying on base of 4 years of Marriage and 3 years of residency. I did read the guideline but it doesn't mention any where to send 3 years worth of statements?? Jezz! that's way too much lol..

Hi, we are gathering the documents and thinking about sending the package next week. This is what I have gathered. please go through my list and let me know if I need to add anything else?

1. N-400

2. copy of Green card back and front

3. 2 passport size pictures with name and A number written in back

4. spouse's birth certificate's copy

5. marriage certificate copy

6. recent bank statements with our names on it. ( do I need to more then one month's statement?)

7. Copy of birth certificate of our child.

8. insurance statements with our names.

Is that all enough?? do we need anything else? Thank you for reading and answering!

I found this. Transit visa If you come to the UK as a visitor in transit, you cannot extend your permission to stay beyond 48 hours.

But i can not find anywhere about layover of more then 8hours for Green card holder of America. can u give me the link of the forum you are reading?

I am trying to book my ticket to India. Best deal I found has layover of 18 hours in London and booking agent is telling my friend( who is trying to book the ticket for me and her) that since I am green card holder of America I won't be able to have layover of more then 8 hours in London heathraw. I wonder if he is saying it because he want us to buy more expensive ticket?? I don't know may be i am totally wrong. I called British airway(Ticket is through British airway) and asked the question but They have no idea about this issue at all. what should i do?? please help me out i need to book a ticket as soon possible since price is going up now.

Yes I got one in the mail before the green card.

It looks extremely unofficial - as if it was typed on an old fashioned type writer that someone had at their home. The only official part of it was the blue stamp and seal on the envelope itself.

Thanks Inky, I got it yesterday and i thought the same as you explained. That unofficial look of mail made me feel wired about the mail.

did u guys get the approval letter before you got the green card production notice?? what is it like??

no update on our case, they haven't even touched it.

Today is my bio. does it take too long for bio??

please update my status. got the biometrics appointment on 10/20/2011..

So i was reading someone got the early appointment how do you do that??

If you read the NOA1 it says you cannot check your case till the biometrics notice. Also the number on the biometric notice for me was different from the NOA1 number. The number on the biometric notice works for me not the one on the NOA1.

I have been trying to sign up for my case updates but It's keep saying this "Customer Portfolio Insert Failed Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the application receipt number."

did this happen to anyone else??
