  1. how did i give false infomation? i thought it's already off my record, so i didnt think its necessary to put it in there, thats it.

secondly, i got the guts the admit i slapped my ex back 9years ago, but i didnt beat her beat her, it was an accident i slapped her back , it wasnt even that hard anyway, and i've went to hell to make it up after court.

I did understand, i was told if i pay the fees and do the service required, then it will be clear off my record, and i did what was required 9 years ago. I only convicted for slapping my ex. If thats going to delay my process or whatever then that will be ridicilous.

So you understood you should have answered yes and followed the instructions but you chose to do otherwise? And now you want to blame USCIS if something is delayed?

You gave false information and now are worried what will happen. We really do not know, we could tell you what would happen if you had been truthful...nothing. You probably would have been approved by now.

I think it is important also that your fiancee knows you are capable of hitting women when provoked. That is probably why they ask it and probably why you lied.

So, sit back and see what happens.

  2. Although i dont agree with a man putting his hands on a woman for any reason and im not here to judge u so plz dont interpret it the wrong way. I dont think that and isolated incident would be considered a felony. But u should disclose it.

it was 9 years ago, while my ex and i was arguing, she slapped me, then i slapped her back. Plus i've went through hell for that slap to make it up. It was just a childish thing. Hopefully that wont hurt my I-129F :innocent:

  4. Hard to say. What part of the statement below did you not understand?

Answering this question is required even if your records were sealed or otherwise cleared or if anyone, including a judge, law enforcement officer, or attorney, told you that you no longer have a record.

USCIS has access to expunged records.

  5. hello everyone, i just filed my I-129F fiance 5 months ago. Lately i've been stressing out about my past criminal record. About 9 years ago when i was 17, i got convicted for a crime, it happened because my ex slapped me, then i slapped her back, that was it. I forgot what i got convict for because of that, maybe a felony? im not sure. Anyway, The court told me that if i do community service and pay the fees, then it will be off my record. I did all that 9 years ago. So i'm assuming it has been off my record ever since. When i filed the I-129F, i didnt not mentioned it, because i was thinking it's no longer on my record. My question is, will everything going to be fine or i will have some trouble with my I-129 application when they do my background check? also whats going to happen? plesae help thank you

  6. May be now they changed that make appointment on their website, sorry, im not sure. Before it is hard for make appointment with them, i called 3 times and left messeges for them, and i wrote email to them same as time, and after that they called back and wrote to me 2 appointment days was different. I think u should take your appointment which they gave to u, because they are busy. If u want, try to call or write to them see how. Good luck.

i think i will take the appointment date that i already booked. Which is about 4 months away, that's around the time my fiance will get her interview, it has been 5 months since we got the NOA1, soon we'll get the NOA2, hopefully everything is good. Thank you very much

  7. Hi

Your fiance should go to US embassy and take appointment with them, they have all forms , or she can call and ask them appointment day. that so easy. If she go interview before that, i think they will give her blue slip for waiting your baby 's us passport and birth certific done. Make appointment with them soon when your fiance got pregnant about 7-8 months same as me beofore. Make appoinment take about 2-3 months.dont worry, your case will pass and get pink slip soon. good luck.

you said my fiance in Vietnam can call the Us Embassy to make an appointment. She already called them to ask questions, and tried to make an appointment, but they told her the only way to make an appointment and whatever she wants to know is by going on their website. I went up there and made an appointment already. The earliest date will be in the beginning of June, that's a little over 4 months. What should i do? if she goes to the us embassy and make the appointment, will it be earlier than that please help?

  8. the question havent answered, someone please help me

im in the process of bringing my fiance over here. I've filed the I-129 form 5 months ago, so her interview might come soon. She just gave birth to our baby, and i need to fill out the CRBA form and get DNA test result. Then send her all those paper work, so she could bring them to the US embassy in Vietnam. I went on their website and they said they only accept appointment for the CRBA. My question is, can she bring all those paper work to her K1 interview if it comes before the CRBA appointment?t? Or she has to go to her CRBA appointment seperately even if it comes after her k1 interview?

  9. sorry let me rephrase what i said above

  11. If i get all the required evidence, it's best for me to send all the required paper work to my fiance in Vietnam, then she can bring it to the US Embassy over in Vietnam right?

I also have another question, in the CRBA form, it asked for the baby's birth certificate number. That means my fiance should get a birth certificate for the baby first before filing the CRBA?

please help thank you very much

  12. After filling out the CRBA form, do i need to send it to my fiance in her country, which is Vietnam. Then she can bring the form to the us embassy or what? please help

Go to the website of the closest US Consulate and obtain the instructions and/or forms for filing a Consular Report of Birth Abroad for your son. They'll inform you whether any DNA test is required before granting the US Passport for the child. Your I-129F/K1 case will proceed as normal.
