  1. well it was good while it lasted . i felt pretty lucky and happy except for a few thing i didnt agree with that we talked about the other night. first off theres alot of low class paople and druggers that work for her boss at chinese chef but my wife is friends with all of them and they all have her number becoz they are the only vietnamese in town.second she started going gambleing about a month ago on weekeds with her boss and boosses brothers all who own resterants and bosses brother in law and all the worker wich are all men that live in thwe bosses machines shed they have made into room for the workers

. my wife would get all sexy looking and go out and not come home until 6 am in the morning

. she says the boss gives everybody mone when he wins and she would come home with 300 dollars everytime. i work 3rd shift and really wasnt good for our relationship. i wanted her to be happy but i told her i didnt like it. my only nights off and she spend with them. I told her if she wanted anymore to do with them she didnt want me. iI said if i didnt trust her so much i would think she was a #######. she hit kicked me threw things at me and i swear i thought she would kill me. we have aloaded pistil in our house and i thought if she got it she would kill me so i toook it outside and out it in my truck . when i came back i layed down on my bed and later got up and the little girl asked wheres momm? i looked out on the front porch and every cop in town had a shot gun on me. she had called the police and siad i was going to kill someone and was in the house with a gun and her kids.thats when i knew we were done. the cops heard my story and found the gun in the truck unloaded and let me go. but now my wife left. she just got her 3 year green card and her kids just got there papers talking about there bio appointment. will she be able to stay in usa??? could she divorce me and remarry and stay. im so sick of wha she did to me i cant beleave it.

WOW, this is just sad, really sad bro....two faces are everywhere....I feel your pain bro. you deserve better

  2. Just submitted DS-156 but her address looks bizarre...she tried to put postal code n/a and leave it blank, no dice. So she wrote NONE. Now her address looks like it includes the word NONE. Is there a postal code in VN? I have sent her many letters with none...can you guys tell me, does she need to do it again?? :-(

p.s. does she have a national identification number?

    Jonas

you can get a postal code for any city by calling UPS or Fedex, im not sure which

  3. I've read a few posts saying an NSO BC is needed for CRBA. What exactly is it? my child just got his Vietnamese BC, and will i be needing an NSO BC for the CRBA?

In the Philippines NSO BC means it is a Birth Certificate authenticated by the National Statistics Office.Only authenticated Birth Certificates are accepted by the USEm.

so only those who are in the Philipine is required for NSO BC?

  4. I am looking at the I-134 form, is number 3 let the CO calculate how many people in my household will be?

let say if i put my fiancee's name in number 3, then they will count it as a household of 2, and if i add a child there, that will be a household of 3 correct?

We have a kid together, ( he will be a US citizen and have his own passport soon) but we're planning to have our child comes over a few months after my fiancee arrives in the US. Do i still have to put the child's name under number 3 on the I-134? last question, if the child doesn't come along with my fiancee at the same time to the US. Are the CO going to count our household as 2 or 3?

A good person to get an answer from here on VJ is Gary and Alla.

I;d assume that your son is wholly or partially dependent on you (Q #8 on the I-134) so he will be counted as a household member. Did you claim him on your 08 taxes? If so, I think that it would be hard to explain why he isn't in your household for immigration but is for taxes. Even though the 134 is not the binding form like the 864, HCMC treats the 134 in almost the same way as the 864 except for the cosponsor part.

I think that what folks have mentioned before to you about marrying and filing the CR-1 makes the most sense if you cannot meet the income requirements. That way you should be able to use the cosponsor on the 864. Double check me on this, but I am pretty confident that HCMC will accept cosponsors on the I-864.

Additionally the CR-1 route ends up with less spent on fees and your wife has her green card upon arrival.

Thank you very much. However I will say there are lots of good people to get answers from. :) Not the least of which is Pushbrk (above) and Anh Map who may be the resident expert on HCMC.

ok thank you very much everyone, please close this post

The CR-1 route is another year or so, i already waited almost a year and done so much to give up now. No i did not claimed the child on my 2008 tax, he was borned in 2009.

  8. Congratulations & thanks for the list. Your baby Lisa is so cute!!!

I don't mean to raise a religious or moral issue or suspect anyone's intention to upset anyone but have you guys noticed something unfair in the K-1 process? We as the K1 petitioners are not supposed to get married and if you are a person who doesn't practise premarital sex because of your faith, your chance of getting K-1 visa is less than that of ones who practise premarital sex. I may be wrong but so far that is what i've observed.

Again, I feel the joy/happiness of people whose genuine love for one another are so great that they bring beautiful kids to the world. And I also share the sadness or disapointment of those whose love for one another are no less than that of others but are trying to overcome disadvantages due to their religious beliefs.

Best wishes to those whose cases are truly genuine regardless your belief.

    Cam

LOL, what century you're living in? The old days (maybe your wife's mother generation) with the conservative belief about "Cong, Dung, Ngon, Hanh" (ask your wife to see if she knows about this) is way history.

My Mom used to tell me that back in the days she first knew my father, she wasn't allowed to go out with him late at night (past 0800PM). And the Mother-in-Law (father's mom) would NEVER accept any daughter-in-law if she found out the future in-law is no longer a virgin!

Tell that morality to VNese girls nowadays, especially those that have their eyes fixing on marrying a foreigner (Viet Kieu or white Americans), you'll be laughed at like an idiot.

Vietnam girls have evolved far beyond your imagination.

PS> Most of them have learnt this script so well.......Get pregnant with him ASAP so you can tie him up and lessen the chance he changes his mind.

I should be ticked off by this, but instead, this made me really sad because what you said is 90% truth.

  9. save them in your hard disk before printing.

    select a date ->click save

    This is what I did.

I'm sorry I have the same problem, I don't know how to print the voice call history on yahoo messenger, if you happen to know please tell me, thanks.

Simple, press PRINT SCREEN on your keyboard, open up Paint program and paste, then print that out

  10. Hello there..

Does anyone know where to get to Police Certificate in Vietnam, particular in Saigon? If anyone has done this before, would you point me to the right location (addresses).

I also heard that you will need one for every place you live for more than 6 months. My fiancee is from Hanoi but she lives in Saigon now, and also spent a few years in Laos.

Does she need to obtain 3 different Police Certificates for each of these places???

Your help is greatly appreciated...thank you!!!

Tell your fiancee to bring her original (not copy) Ho^. Khau~ to SO TU PHAP in order to reguest a Ly Lich Tu Phap ( aka police cert.)

And to answer you question, you only need one for each country.

  12. I'm looking for some help on getting "Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage" for my I-130 (AoS from B2 visa).

    1. Documentation showing joint ownership or property; or None

    2. A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence; or Because I don't have a SSN they wouldn't put me on our lease until I have one.

    3. Documentation showing co-mingling of financial resources; or We sent a form to his bank to add me to his bank account but they are taking a LONG time to do it.

    4. Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to you, the petitioner, and your spouse together; or None

    5. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship (Each affidavit must contain the full name and address, date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner of beneficiary, if any, and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge of your marriage); or We are co-renting with my husbands best friend and wife so they are obviously aware of our marriage. We can go to the lawyer on the military base and get something like this but I'm not sure what we should write in the affidavit.

    6. Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital union. What else can we use? I just came here in January and got married in February. We really don't have much together because I don't have a SSN and they won't add me to anything. He did put onto his medical insurance (tri-care) at work. Would that also be proof?

Back history - No, I did not intend on getting married when coming here. I came here Jan 16, 2009 and we got married Feb 10, 2009.

So your saying that in 25 days you met and fell in love with the partner of your dreams?

If so, then you may be having problems demonstrating that it is a bonifide marriage because perhaps its not????

Good luck with it all anyway.

love doesn't required times, there are people out there who fell in love at first sight. One day is all it takes to fall in love, you're saying 25 days is not enough to fall in love? then you should get a reality check
