Pastilan pagkahalinon gud diay ning mga bisdak.Adjustment to your new life being married especially sa mga puti is not easy pero kinahanglan gyud ta mag pasensya ug TALK talk talk,,be open and communicate with our hubby mao ra gud na ang importante kay wala gud na sa ila nang ato batasan na mag pa luod luod ug maghulat ta na mangamo ato bana sus! wa gud tawon na sa ila mao btaw sayon ra nila ang pag divorce kay wa sila anang mag pa sensya or mosakay sa ato mga drama.

Ako sa una d man gud malikayan naay lalis ginagmay pero I have learned my lessons..communication ra gud diay ang way para magkasinabtanay. We need to learn how to listen to be heard.Anyway am a happy mom. wife and businesswoman ug wa ko makaabot ug america d ko ma negosyante..it's fun though making money while staying home lang.

  2. i miss my family my friend...i miss home.....i miss being me..... :help:

Do something to keep you busy. Read books , or make friends. I never felt homesick since i got here..got lots of friends and besides having your family their own computer at home is easier for you to talk and see them anytime you want to.My kids are still in the Philippines but i talk to them, see them and keep in touch with them whenever they can.I have a beuatiful 5 months old baby now too that keeps me busy.

his mom is the one proving me all my needs, warm clothes for it is so dang cold here now! and he is a freaking Mama's Boy!

I didn't know this until I arrived here.. I felt like am his maid, sex slave rather than his wife! I did asked him about his salaray, the house bills

and things that a couple must share! but he didn't still tells me! I asked him that I will just go home rather than to be his made and sex slave!

So sad about your situation. As long as you got married within the 90 days period don't have a problem in your AOS . I filed for AOS 7 days after we got married and that was 3 weeks after i got here. Before anything else i have a kumare in Idaho if you need someone to talk to,,just not sure where you in Idaho. Some men don't give you material things .lucky are those who's husbands provide their wife's needs like me. My husband not only provide for me but for my whole family as well in the Phils.

I am a stay home mom(by choice) and yet I don't need to go out to work and make money. I do have home business on Ebay that i make money kahit papaano kaysa wala.

You should do things to make money like sell stuff online ,,,you can ship the item just right from your home(no need of going to the Post office).

A couple should talk,,listen and compromise each other. I do think you still need to talk to him about sharing with you all about your finances. That is your right as his wife.Never NAG..it won't do you any good.

Let him know you deserve to be treated as a wife. In our situation since my husband is the one working..his money is our money..my money is our money so i guess you just have to kick his *** and tell him.. ME or your MONEY??/

  6. But the thing I dont like in moneygram is that in every one dollar you received they get 1 piso.

Like for example the exchange rate today is 47 pesos but when you received the money

The exchange rate will only be 46 pesos. Try to observe that!

The difference is not that much..just a few cents..and if you think of the charge difference and the rate difference,, to sum it up..it's just the same with western..like i said this is just my own opinion based on experience as i have been using moneygram for 5 yrs now and my mom gets d money in minutes as matter of fact after i send her the moneygram # she is just right there waiting for the cebuana to open and there was never a problem...i think it also depends on the location of the moneygram.

  7. there is the most cheapest way to send money,i opened an account in here.and i sent atm plus PIN no. to the philippines

and they can withdraw money anytime they want, and by using internet i can transfer how much amount of money i want to the account they are using in the philippines....

i dont pay for transfer and in every transaction or withdrawals they wont charge me for anything.........

    i didnt pay for anything.............

Yes that would work too,,but I don't want anyone to have an access to my account even my mom..lol she would not be in control of taking money out of my account to spend shopping..lol .Old folks don't like dealing with ATM machines. Besides,, atm can be stolen that's my own opinion.

  8. hi sa lahat i need advice po i just had my interview last dec. 17 and that was my very bad day huhuhu ang sama nong consul ko her question was very personal at talagang pinahirapan nya ako, then after my interview ang natangap ko refusal letter (221)g due to my late registration of my birth certificate oct 14,2002 lang ako naka pa registered sa nso.. and now shes asking me for my old id,s grades school record and my medical/hospital records from pregnancy birth my problem is pinanganak ako sa bahay lang at by traditional widwife lang (HILOT) and patay na sya ngayon at ni minsan daw hindi naka pa check up ang nanay ko sa hospital dahil taga bundok po kami dati walang clinic walang hospital ngayon po wala akong makukuhang record sa hospital kahit ano,, pls i need advice what should i do?

I was also a late registered human being..lol but never had a problem with my interview. If you don't have hospital records get a copy of your late registration at your local Civil Registrar's Office. Get a certification from your barangay chairman who knows your family well that you are a resident and was born in that area.Provide old identifications such as Voter's Id, Postal Id, police Clearance, school records. Even if you are registered late as long as it is already recorded in NSO as late registered still you should have no problem.

.Never had a problem at all even in my AOS and my son's CRBA. Good luck.

  9. I been using moneygram for 5 years now and never had a problem. This is the best and quickest way to send money. It is just like western only it is cheaper. Receiver will get the money in minutes. you can claim it in any PCI, RCBC banks or any cebuana lhullier pawnshops at any day even satrday and sundays. You can send it through Walmart which is 24 hrs. open for $9.46 up to $500.

  10. I can't claim the money that my hubby sent to me...

they said the local bank of xoom here in PI has a problem and I was told that it might a week before I can claim my money... like, #######????

I tried BDO, Cebuana, all of them can't give me my money.

Everytime they are checking my Code, it says no transaction, where in fact, xoom sent an email my hubby said its ready for pick-up!

Been using money gram for years and never had a problem. It's cheaper than any other money transfer and will be received im minutes .It is just like western union only cheaper. You can claim it at the bank or any cebuana lhullier pawnshops at any day.Try money gram..it won't do you any harm.

  12. Thanks for your response and I was wrong its part 3#1 "other names used".Yes I used my maiden surname as my middle name when I adjusted my status but what did you put in part 3#1?your whole maiden name?including your mothers maiden surname?

    Thanks.

What was asked was other names used ,right? SO if you didnt have any then you don't have to put anything on that part or you can put None or N/A.

I would advise you to wait for more response from our other vj members to have more ideas. Two heads is better than one i think.lol.

  15. Hi everybody, i live here in miami florida, and my fiancee is from cebu philippines, she is 2 months pregnant, and i need to send her money. can anyone tell me what is the best way to send money to the philippines? i would like to do it online if possible.

My husband sends me money when i was still in the Philippines and now that I am here in Georgia we are sending my family money every month and since 2003 we been using MONEYGRAM to send money to the Philippines. It is cheaper than any other even cheaper than what was mentioned here. It is not just cheaper but also will receive the money in minutes just like western union.

Cheaper Rate $1- $500 is only $9.46 and receive in minutes just like western union.

  16. Hey guys,

Pls someone shout me what to do next after the NOA2. we recieved the notification on email and the uscis site, do we have to call the NVC?

We are planning to send a letter to the NVC to atleast try to expedite or give us an early interview appointment date becos I'm pregnant, I know it's a very shallow reason but just to give it a try.... there's no harm in trying tho~

pls tell me what to do. i'm 5 months pregnant getting 6 by the end of the month.

    thanks a lot.

    looking forward to ur response.

    :help:

I don't think the embassy will give you special treatment just becoz you're preggy. You can still fly even when you are 7 months preggy(depends on the airlines) as long as you can provide a certification that you are healthy.I did travel back to the Philippines wheni was 7 months preggy and brought back my son here in the US at 7 weeks old. Good Luck and Congrats!

  17. Hi to all!

I am preparing my documents for the removal on the conditions on my residency.I wonder if you can help me guys.I dont have a middle name. This is my problem. In Philippines,we usually put our mother's maiden surname if asked about middle name right, that is what we usually do but here in US,its different people usually have middle names so when I got married I changed my last name to my husband's and using my maiden surname as my middle name.Part 4 of I-751 it says put "other names used"what do I put in there?Example,my maiden name is LUISA SORIANO BANDOY(SORIANO is my mother's maiden surname)I put BANDOY in part 1 as my middle name sinced I did it too when I applied for adjustment of status.Should I put it like this in part 4 LUISA SORIANO BANDOY?or LUISA BANDOY?Please need some advise don't want to make mistake. :(

    thanks,

    len2

I do have the same situation as yours.Your middle name would be Bandoy just like what you have in your AOS application.
