  1. Sorry to hear this, but what were you thinking that you but every thing on a CD, did you really think that they will view the CD!!! :innocent:

In the era that every one wants to hack Sate Dept. computers. if you were a bad guy and you had virus on a CD and if CO was a stupid guy, you could infect the whole system.

Also you don't have to send them every thing, just sample of your emails, phone call and etc. it would be enough.

I hope they approve your case very soon and you to get together and keep the CD for your own memory.

at this time, you should be very thankful that they only talk about proof of relationship and they didn't place her on AP, I'm sure you will get approve as soon as you send couple of emails and phone logs.

    Good Luck

  2. If you had seasonal Job, don't be too picky about it, if you just worked one month here and one month there, if were you I would just ignore it, but if you had a job for about 6 months, just list that one, and mostly write your education time lines.

As long as you have some proof relationship you are all set and you don't need to go to Iran.

    Attach a copy of:

    http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/tw/tw_920.html

to your documents and say that you are afraid of going to Iran because your safety.

Make sure you have photos together and attach a copy of your plane ticket and boarding passes also his ticket too to show that some where you to saw each other.

you also need to attach your TAX returns, one or two years of income is enough, I can't find any were about how many years, because peoples situation is different, if some one is self employed they need more but you/your dad are/were employed by some one with steady income, just one or 2 years is enough.

  3. are you the one who wants to come to the US? or you are applying for some one else to come here?

Well you don't need to go too far on your Job history, just the last 4-5 years is enough, don't get panic over this form, there are a lot more to worry about than this questions.

Co-sponsor needs to submit I-864 with his/her tax returns along with I-134 from the petitioner + Tax returns if any. also I recommend to call IRS and get the TAX Transcript which is the official TAX return and is free of charge and you should get it within 10 days.

If you are applying for some one try to send every thing in very organized manner and as you are an Iranian (me too) don't let them question you on any document that you send, try to send them as official as possible.

  4. If you let it run its natural course its better for you as well as your wife, you can't expedite it unless you are in Army and you are getting deployed very soon, which in most cases they need all the documantations.

I'm sure they are aware the situation in Iran and no one cares and nothing is going to happen to the people and if you tell them my wife is in danger, later on at the time your interview they will ask her what did you do and is like opening the new can of worm.

Its better for all of us(most Iranians) to pray not put in Administrative Processing as they put most Iranian on AP at the time if Interview which if they do, they wont even answer your questions over the phone or mail, even your congers man can't do any thing!

    Good luck

  5. Hi,

Total amount deposited for the past year - I asked my bank for this (Bank of America), but they sent me a standard letter which had my Date account opened, Present Balance, 90 Day Average Balance, and simply stated that for total deposits you can order Bank Statements (I have that for all of 2008 and Year To Date 2009). Should I total these on my own and put it in a cover letter or something? Please advise

As long as you make 125% above poverty line, bank letter is just some thing extra, but you can also add them up and also print 5-6 statement as a sample too.

  6. Hi Every one,

Due to to my work schedule I can't be with my fiancee in Turkey for her Appointment and I just want to re-schedule it for some other time so I can be with her, should I tell the embassy that why I want to re-schedule it? or just send them a request that I want some other time?

on the website shows that all appointments are full until End of Sept so I'm requesting for some time in Oct.

Bellow is what I wrote, is this good?

Dear Honorable American Consulate of Ankara, Turkey,

My fiancée (Name) has an appointment for 15-Sept-2009, I’m wondering if I can re-schedule this appointment for the beginning of October?

If at the beginning of October is not possible any time in October is good for us too.

    Bellow is her info:

    FirstName LastName

    Case# ANK2009.......

    Date of Birth:

    Type of Visa: K-1

    Regards,

Do they even care that I'm re-scheduling it or they don't like it?! I just don't want to messed up my case...

  7. Does it really matter when it come to interview at USEM? Would the consol give you a hardtime about it?

    HELPPPP!!!!!!!

42 years age difference? well if you can proof it that really you love him for who he is, it should be.

but you have to proof it to CO not VJs, be ready for tough questions from the CO.

one last thing which you or no one like to be asked is: How old is your fiance? How old is your Dad?

you have to proof is that marriage is not because of GC or immigiration visa
