    i am bored. i am so bored i am cleaning out my dad's attic and throwing out stuff. i have an interview tmr with a job agency which is a joke because there's no job that is open....i hate these kind of interviews.

    A senior manager who's worked here for decades, who's daddy worked here all his life... recently cracked a joke at a lady who works in our cafeteria saying she looks just like Sonia Sotomayor. Saying she could be SCOTUS justice too, looking like that.

    Water cooler rumor is that it's gone all the way to HR.

    why is it racist to comment on how someone else looks like? i.e. someone you know looks like chris rock and you say that to him, but you are white....that's supposed to be racist how? you just look like chris rock and i wanted to say something and that's it....

    i dunno, .....sometimes i think people are too sensitive nowadays

    Send your AOS package. As soon as your DS3032 is accepted you will be able to pay the $400 IV Bill. After that you can send the DS 230 package. Some people send I-864 and DS 230 together to avoid any false RFEs and so that they receive everything at the same time.

    agree with this. in my case, i had paid the AOS fee first but ended up sending that packet after the IV one due to some petty issues. i had gotten a letter from NVC about this, but it was sent to me the day that they received my AOS packet so they told me to just forget it. don't stress, you'll be fine. just get both packets together, print the cover barcode pages, make your own cover letters as well, put everything in a nice, neat pile, and send it off (certified of course...well, up to you, but i like to make sure that they got my stuff) and you should be fine. just act fast.

    your extremely linear thinking is ....sad to say the least. there's no difference between any of these fools we elect. the system is what's wrong, not democrats, or republicans, or whatever. obama is just more likeable than dubya is, among other things. and people are human, all those points you bring up are petty at the most. give it some time, let's see what barack does and then we can talk.

    what goes up must come down, it's inevitable, every major empire in history has gone through this cycle. there will be another superpower that is for sure, the question is who? china? india? russia? eu? neither?

    Hey at least all of the other empires had a few hundred years of success. The United States had 50. As a friend once said to me, the US will not be conquered but will collapse within and by its own weight.

    I am one of very few foreigners who actually gives a ####### and is trying to suggest ideas, yet am branded as being anti-American. Half the forum has given me ####### and insulted me for doing so. Yes, for suggesting ways to improve America. That is when you know there is no hope and need to take the closest emergency raft. Every superpower that fell did so due to their arrogance and pride that they are untouchable and the best. Best example, hello independence from Great Britain. Brits were a superpower and thought they would have the pilgrims rounded up in a week.

    Like Russia once was, the US has been the center of attention for the last 50 years. Nowadays the US has become just another country. People either accept this and embrace the reality, or they deny it and go down as did Russia, the UK, Ottomans, Rome, Greece and the Egyptians.
