  1. Before I get grilled here, this site has some excellent information on applying for a K1 Visa & after serious thought, I know I can follow the step by step procedures for obtaining a K1, but my Thai Fiance lives in Isan, I'm afraid of not being there to hold her hand thru this process & having someone explain to her in Thai & in contact with her, while I'm in the states, would give me a better piece of mind.

Has anyone went that route & can you recommend a good Thai Lawyer?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

I used these guys to get my THAI marriage visa. They handled everything pretty good. Took care of my marraige there, and filing the paperwork with the Ministry of Foreign affairs etc.

Not sure how they are for getting a US visa. They have 2 packages. One where you do everything on the US side, and the handle the Thai part (which isn't much.) And a more expensive package where they do everything.

I've contacted several Thai lawyers & Siam Legal was one of them, I've setup an appointment with them, when I arrive in February of 2009, just wanted to know if anybody became highly recomended?

  3. I just recently returned from Thailand for Holiday, I met an exceptional Thai Girl, we really bonded & we spent abot 7 wonderful days together!!

I know spending 7 days together is not enough to truely know your in love, I'm 36 years old & have never been married, I've travelled to numerous countries, but

I truely think this Girl is the one for me, I met her this month (November, 2008)

I don't really know if I can pull this off by myself (Paperwork/Documentation) for K-1 Visa

Don't get me wrong, I'm visiting my Thai Girfriend in Februaruy of 2009 & I'm to meet her family in (Isan)

I sponsor her now & talk to her on the computer, thru (Skype) & send her e-mail's, I believe this is vital, for record keeping for her interview (Documentation)

Should I hire a Lawyer in the U.S. represent me or should I wait for my next Trip to Thailand in 60 Days from now?

Should I bring any paperwork with me, when I visit in the next few months, that would be benificial for the two of us?

Just lost right now, would appreciate some help?
