  1. CJ-V, is time for u to start the december approvals thread, on yr way to NVC. and hopefly we join u soon. and the dust collectors at VSC thread will change to speded up with fairy dust at NVC, and we'll be there soon to enjoy it with u.

SraCastillo, dont worry. I think u should be next one announcing the NOA2 here. I really wish u that. I think what held u back was the late date for I129f (honestly I think ud have been better off without it), but keep being optimistic, and maybe u get an early Christmas gift from VSC. u probably have pesimistic days like the rest of us, but the pic u have here looks so smiley and yr posts always optimistic, that it kills my pessimism everytime. I wish I can read yr adventures in NVC threads very soon. good luck

and Desiman, look at the bright side. the RFE means yr file is on their desk. the VSC it will very soon be over for u too.

  2. CJ-V was approved on 1st of december. dont lose hope, our time is coming. even if cases with later fileing date than his were being approved before his, CJ always sounded optimistinc and encouraged others to be the same. his approval is a very good sign. so dont lose yr optimism, think positive, and will see approval is just around the corner.chins up!

  3. Let's all hope it will be a slow or static week at VSC. lets all hope they didnt get over the long weekend and they will be lazy. I loved seeing my relatives over skype for thxgiving and I sure hope to repeat the lovely experience again for Christmas. I dont want to be there to join them, I like being on a webcam like a news reporter. and having thxgiving dinner only on my screen and not sharing dinner with my family there really keeps me in shape. so VSC ppl, pls, dont spoil my Christmas. an approval now would make me spend Christmas doing NVC, and I really want to spend it on skype, with no paperwork trouble.

  4. I think the best think to do is look at the full half of the glass. U r out of USCIS, where the real waiting was. waiting is stressfull, makes u go through different emotions, from having faith one day to being completely hopless the next one and so on. once u get at NVC, r family is very close to the day of being reunited. if u know u and yr husband are doing this in good will, u have been together through all this process, u must have faith everything will go just fine. keep going forward with faith, and dont think of the bumps in the road, those r only lil shakers on the way (as a RFE or some days without news from NVC could be, but hopefuly not). u r close to the finish line, heads up, it will very soon be over. my advice to u would be do not panic, dont get nervous, because only in that case u can do mistakes that would cost u few more weeks of waiting. best thing to do is get yrself together, pay attention to every line in the forms, the most unpleasant part of the process is already in the past. if u had the determination and courage to start this process from the beginning, could pick the best choice for getting together in terms of what visa to apply for, had the patience to wait for the NOA2, then NVC shouldnt scare u. all of us knew is going to be a long nerves and time consuming process when we filed our I130. with patience and faith, it will be over and ull be reunited as a family soon. and when u r not sure about somth, just ask yr friends here. is why we r all here. to get support and encouragement from others in same boat with us. and sail together towards the shore. best of luck to u, and dont worry, u will all be together before first spring sunny days.

  5. Congratz! very very good news. I have to admit I was getting anxious I didnt see other approvals today. and to see yr case approved was very good news. for u, because u were getting pessimistic lately, and for the rest of us waiting, because it sows things r moving towards our files. wish u to be done with NVC as fast as possible.

  6. yes, yes, i want my own blank square everyday for as long as possible too. I want to be blank square Zen too, I want to live alone for as much as possible, to achieve solitude peace...so, can u add me in the spreadshet too, plssss?

done, but your timeline says cr-1?

yes, is for K3 as many others, but if I130 and I129f get approved same time, like tends o happen lately, well go the CR1/IR1 route. I think many cases here r the same. thx

  7. I haven't heard of anyone changing service center. but have faith, maybe they r just slower now because of the huge amount of files submitted in summer of 2007, bcause of the fee increase, and the naturalization cases which took priority in last spring, and everything else was left on waiting. i hope things will go back on the normal path step by step, and wont take so long anymore. i really wish u that. if sint true, u know what they say. hope dies last. good luck for u and yr family

  8. kaffy, that tourist visa depends very much of the country of the tourist visa beneficiary. somecountries dont even need a visa, some get a tourist visa easy, is just papers to fill in, some wont get a visa unless they prove they really have very good reason to go back in their own country (great job, assets, properties, convincing bank accounts. and not only those, but the history of bank accounts and properties for the last 5 years). so every person should know how usa emabssy works in their own country. Id also say that DCF is best way to go, as it seems the us citizen has been living in yr country over 6 months. good luck

  9. when my husband started to visit me, like 3 years ago, we didnt think aout marrige, immigration, etc. so he didnt keep his airline tickets either. i think he just has some of them. but we r going to show the orbitz reservations fr tickets, and also the credit card records where it shows he paid for them. I assume no one would think he paid the tickets not to use them, as they are usualy over 1000$ each. so I think that if u have any proof of buying the tickets, ull be ok. we dont have any hotel reservations becase he was always my guest.also we have pics with him here, at different times (can see in pics is winter, summer, spring, so they are not all taken in same trip) good luck.

  10. dont worry, I had to mail the police record and certified copies of marriage and birth certificate, so to add the documents I have to sign in the package was just logical thing to do. but if wouldnt be the case, and wed want to gain time, Id teach my husband the glass trick, isnt like they are going to analise the ink on signature see if is romanian. and if u think about it, i email it anyways, is almost like faxing. he isnt fake-ing it, hes just copying it by hand, not by fax machine. should be able to electronicaly sign anyways, considering is immigration form, which means from al around the world.

  11. Does K3 require a fileing fee, and then more fees on the way? do u have to start with I130 for IR1/CR1 and just after that u r alowed to file for the speed promising K3 (which basicly means u r going through 2 processes same time. file for 2 visas same time)? after the long wait to be aproved, does K3 take a little shorter than the IR1/CR1 way, and u r tempted to follow the shorter way? does the K3 route cost more at the end than IR1/CR1 but they make it seem tempting because after NOA2 is shorter route? after u answer these questions, I think is clear why we r advsied to file for K3 after I-130.

  12. I signed for my parents everytime i didnt want to show them grades from school but had to show their signature in my grades notebook to teachers. so....she scans her signature, emails it. u print it. (has to be the perfect font size to copy it). u place the paper with the signature on a glass with a light under, or on the window in daytime, with good light. u place the document on top, it becomes see-through. u copy her signature. perfection....(just do it by a single hand movement, without shaking)

  13. Paia, the NOA2 is just the first step of the process. yr case will be sent to NVC and then after completed there to consulate in the beneficiary's contry. can find a guide for the NVC process here- http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

there u see what pappers u need to get ready for NVC, after u get yr NOA2. also Id advice u to have those ready, so u dont slow the process yrself gathering all papers after the NOA2. at the embassy the beneficiary will attend an interview, where basicaly shell have to convince the interviewer that yr marriage is in good will and not only for visa purposes. any document to support that will help. they will never tell u what to bring for that, but is good to bring everything u guys can come up with (travelling prooves if u visited her, prooves u met in person, pics, letters, phone bills that u comunicate, anything that would show yr relationship is genuine). this was to make it short. also take time to look in forums here, u will find out other's experiences, and is very helpfl.becase can discover a problem that u didnt think of or find advice. good lck and smooth trip throgh the process

  14. first of all.....congratz charisma! every approval is new hope for the ones still waiting.

and yes, ofc Id hate to get approved now, when I didnt finish advicing my husband how to decorate the new place. he slept on the floor for a while so we go shopping together, then got a bed (I checked in pics the options), now seats and table. how long can someone live without furniture in a hope well shop together for our new nest? but wow, Ive just realized skype camera gives a much better view than the narrow angle Id get in person. and hope I dont get approved until we finish the whole remodeling through skype!

  15. I have no idea what those toches mean. I, for example, have a touch on the I130 on july 1st, and on I129f on 15th of may. nothing before, nothing after. but what I've noticed in other cases is that those with I130 and I129 at a big distance, tend to wait more. what I dont understand is why are we adviced to file for a K3, as faster route, if they process them together anyways? it seems only thing k3 does is slowering the process. seems like they wait on eachother. and why do they also say u have to wait for I130 NOA1 to come before sending I129f ? I've seen ppl here who sent them at same time, and seems they got approved faster. seems is in yr interest to not follow their advices. which is plain abnormal.

  16. Hello, i need some help in filling up this DS230 FORM. I am a lil confuse thats why i posted it here...

    Hope you can help me....

    On the 2nd page

    19. List Names, Dates and Places of Birth, and Addresses of ALL Children.

my husband has 2 kids from his previous GF... should i put their names in this question?

21a. Person(s) named in 14 and 19 who will accompany you to the United States now.

i put my husband's name.. should i put his name again here?

21b. Person(s) named in 14 and 19 who will follow you to the United States at a later date. what should i put here?

In what occupation do you intend to work in the United States?

i am not really sure what occupation am i going to apply when im in USA.. what should i put here?

    and on PAGE 3

33a. Have you ever applied for a Social Security Number (SSN)?

should i put yes or no? We are CR1 VISA

questions 19, 21a and 21b are not about yr husband or his children, as they already are american citizens. question 19 asks if u have any children of your own (they want to know if u have kids that will immigrate with u now or at a later date).if u dont have, write NONE. with 21a they want to know if there is someone else immigrating same time with u, with yr husband being their petitioner too. (as kids or other relatives);they dont ask who will fly with u there, which would be whole plane, not only yr husband. if is just u immigrating, write NONE. question 21b asks if u intend to have someone immigrating later to follow u (as kids, for example).if u dont have any, write NONE. question about occupation, if u dont know what u will work there, write UNKNOWN. but I think would be good to think about it, and make a choice;isnt like u cant change yr mind once there. question 33a is clear. u should know if u applied or not. I assume if is first time u aply for a visa and never been there before, u didnt apply for one before. so answer NO.but u know better. also consult yr husband.good luck

  17. hello everyone. my post might be out of opic and too early to ask for me anyways, as we didnt even get the NOA2, but we hope is soon and we are trying to have everything ready for everything required at NVC. and seems u already went through it, so better ask u. in the form DS-230, where it requires for the educational institutions attended, did u translate name of institutions in english, and also gave the american corespondent of the diplomas, or just wrote the names as they apear on diplomas, and also named the diploma as in original? this might sound dumb question, but we dont want to risk anything, so we try to double check and get opinions on every lil question mark that crosses our minds. (I specify that the official names r not that different, as universitate-university, medicina-medicine, just the diplomas sound kind of different and the high-school). thx in advance for any help

  18. I am not defending nor accussing anyone. not even those people who work at VSC. I cant even be mad at them. every officer there handles daily files worthing hundreds or thousands dollars from the fees we pay. and yet, at the end of the month they go home with minimum wage I think. awful work, little paid, not many beneffits. I thik there is as much frustration in those offices as it is here. I somehow understand them not being motivated. I only blame the system.that is designed poorly. and has many gaps, and is not consistent.

  19. everyone could have picked the K3 or the K1 route. was a matter of choice. I know I didnt pick the K1 because only difference would have been the long step Id wait there and not here. is one entry visa, and I was trying to think on long term. yes, is awful not to be with my lover, the skype, the trips and the airports I hate them, but I didnt want to be trapped there until the change of status on a K1. what if something would happen home, with my family or something, and Id have to say sorry, my status didnt changed yet, I am traped on the other side of the ocean, I cant come. as I see things, is a difficult prcess for everyone. every type of visa has pluses and minuses. we pick what we think we can handle better. what I dont think is fair is that USCIS advices u to file a I129-F after the I130, as a way to be approved faster. but from what Ive seen here, seems that those who filed a I130 only had a faster process. so the problem isnt K3 against K1 or even athlets or other things Ive seen in here. problem is to be informed right at the beginning to make the right choice for yrself.

    keep faith in yr luck
