  1. Hi Vj'r

    I need some help on filing our I-130 and G-325a, Have a few questions that need some clarification and hope someone can give me any help. First some background ..we are filing for CR-1 . My husband is currently in Saudi Arabia working as an Overseas worker for 7 YEARS now. We are goin to used the US Embassy in Manila,Phils for this process. Now here are my confusions;

    FORM I-130

    BENEFICIARY QUESTION

Question #2 His Address...I was thinking since were going to used Manila Embassy, its only necessary to put his home address in the Philippines for this line...am I right?

Question #19 Your relatives address abroad? I assumed it will be the same as above (his home address in the Philippines)? Am I right or wrong?

NOW HERE'S THE CONFUSION...filing for G-325a (note: his been working in KSA 7years and basically spend more time living there than in the Philippines?

    For Question stating:

Applicant's Residence last five years. List present address first.

What do I need to answer to this? Im thinking it will be his residence address in Saudi Arabia, but wouldnt it throw a conflict since in I-130 I put in his Phils address then in G-325a ill put in KSA address since his been stayin there for 7yrs

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME..AND ERASE SOME OF THIS CONFUSION...Thank you in advance for those who can help!

  3. You have to answer ALL sections, leave nothing blank, use N/A if it does not apply to you.

That #22 is an either/or answer , the first part does not apply to you if you the beneficiary is not living in the U.S.

The second part requires an answer if you the beneficiary is living in the Philippines.

But on this case Im the petitioner..so what should I answer on #22 ..Im the one preparing the document? hope to clarify things...still confused...thanks

  4. We also submitted just one copy each of the G325-A. The instructions for filling up the I-130 did not say we needed to submit 4 copies.

Wheew thank you...I really thought its only 1 copy each..thanks for clearing it up for us!

  5. 1. 4 copies of G-325a for each (beneficiary and petitioner)

    2. Just put N/A or None

    3. We did not abbreviate the country though.

Thanks so much for the quick reply..I didnt realize its 4 copies..I thought thats only for K-3(fiancee visa) because it doesnt specified on the CR-1...glad I asked...Its quite hard to fill up the application using PDF..coz some words are way too long ( like city names with country)..yikes...

Hope you dont mind if I have another question:

I kinda stuck with question #22 on form I-130 it says " Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status....and requiring City and State to be filled....do I have to answer to that? quite not understanding this question

    Please help!

  6. Hi..just need a quick help here pls on form G-325a

1.How many copies of G-325a do we have to submit with I-130?

    2. Question with US social security No...for fiance...what should we answer to that when he dont have one yet...N/A is not applicable

    3. For questions " City and Country of Birth..can you abbreviate the Country? like for Philippines..can you just use PHILS?

  7. Hi everyone, just got a few questions that need some help on. First, a bit of bacground..my husband & I got married last april 2011, and we're now ready to file for our CR-1. He is currently working as an OFW in Saudi Arabia. He has 3 kids from previous marriage (whome he has no plan for now to bring with him to the US) & I got one daughter of my own from previous marriage. Now here's all my questions that I need your help on.

    1. Do I file my petition for him addressed to the Philippines and used the Philippine Embassy and all documents he will recieved can just be forwarded to him to Saudi? (He can exit from his work in Saudi anytime ..if he needed so)

    2. on Form I-130 question#17 (List wife/and all children of your relative)

--Should we need to list all his 3 children and also my daughter as his stepdaughter?

    3. Form G-325a -Must all signature must be original? can my husband just sign it and send it to me tru email and Ill just

    print it from my end.

--How many copies of G-325a do we have to submit?

    4. Just to clarify...I no longer need to submit a copy of my beneficiary/husband birth certificate?

    5. How long usually is the estimated timeframe for the whole entire petition process of CR1 (from sending the application to getting the interview date)?

****** All helpful answers will be appreciated....Thank you in Advance!

  8. You can mark single but DO indicate the name and other information about the former spouse on the G325a and I-129F. It's not REALLY like it never happened but you are neither married or divorced, so single is the correct answer.

Thanks so much Pushbrk...I was really hoping you'll reply to this post...and really thank you so much for the info...I just really need some affirmation from someone who really knows their stuff.....God Bless!

  9. I'm not sure what you are trying to ask here!

The answer is entirely up to your situation!!!

    1) to confirm, you are applying for a K-1 visa right? This means you are currently NOT MARRIED, because if you are then you DON'T qualify for a K-1

    2) are you divorced or did you have an annuled married?

If the answer is no, then you are single....

I Clearly stated....annuled didn't I?...so that makes my fiancee entitled...just the question of answering question #6 on I-129f with SINGLE STATUS OR DIVORCED?.....just wanna get things right...

  10. Hello 2 all...I have a questioned that may seems old to some and reduntant, but I just wanna make sure ...so I asked for a reply on those whose been on the same situation only, or people that really know their stuff and not just guessing plsssss.....coz it tends to throw more people off if you will give suggestions base on false opinions.

QUESTION: MARITAL STATUS TO ANSWER ON QUESTION# 6....IF YOUR ANNULLED ( SINGLE OR DIVORCE)?

  11. SINGLE... OF COURSE YES U WILL FILL OUT ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT UR PREVIOUS MARRIAGE.. LIKE WHAT IS THE NAME OF UR X-WIFE OR HUSBAND....ETC....

GOOD LUCK!!! GLAD U GOT THE DECISION.. IF U DON'T MIND Y U TOOK SOOO LONG TO GET IT...?

Not really sure why it took that long, the attorney just said its really a long wait now..because annulment is getting a bit common now..alot of people are filing for annulment nowadays..sso its creating a backlog on all the cases handled by one court. So yes we just patiently waited for ours, it was filed Jan 2007, processs didnt actually start moving till bout June 2007, then all process and court hearing done by June 2008, so waited for our decision for almost 2yrs. Hope your's wouldnt last as long as ours...Goodluck to you!

  12. status: single...

psychological evaluation... from what i read here on VJ u will undergo this evaluation if he/ she is found psychologically incapacitated.... but if not then no need to under go this one...

Hi..my question is..if the status will retain to single...because of annulment..do we still need to fill in the information..about previous marriage..like the question asking for ex spouse name and date of marriage? Me and my fiancee waited almost 2yrs alone just for the decision..besides for a year of processing..Now finally, just this month we received a letter that its all null & void..thank God..now our wait is finally over..and we can now moved on..and ready to start our K-1 process. wheeew..so if theres anyone who can enlighten me with some info regarding my question plz ..will be greatly appreciated.

Would should be consider single? and if so do I still have to fill in her marriage history???

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

annulment is as if the marriage never happened... if it was annulled then there is no "history"

Can Someone clarify this even more pls...so if annulled..it should be status single..and leave all the marriage history? like name of ex spouse ...NEED some enlightenment pls....thanks
  14. My suggestion is: Make a copy of your old and "torned" birth certificate and see if any important information is obscured by the "torned" part/s. If not...send this copy to the USCIS. However, during the time that your petition is being processed, get a new one and have it ready in case you get a RFE. This will avoid any delays in processing.

    Good Luck,

    Franc

THanks for the advice..i will do just that! God Bless
  15. Hi to all, I just wanna ask for a bit of info. I am the Petitioner on this process, I understand that I need to send in my Birth Certicate together along with my Naturalization Certificate. I was born in the Philippines, I do have my original Birth certificate..but its a bit old and torned...would I need to obtain a new copy from the NSO, or the one I have should be enough not to get us some RFE.

Thanks all for any info you can share with me..to lessen my confusion!

  16. Hi VJ's

Help!!! Can somebody please tell me if I can use child support as additional income? I'm a bit short for the poverty guideline for 125% for family of 3..Im a little off by a couple of hundred bucks , but if I will be able to add child support I received for my daughter It will be more than enough to cover what we need for the poverty limit. I have a co-sponsor line up but its probably not an option for us , coz for some that I read here, In Philippines they dont usually accept co-sponsor. So is there anybody who can give me some advice on this, and what exactly do I need to do, Add it to my 1040 when I file my tax or just add it to my I-134 as income..Please advice :help:

  17. Hello VJers; :star:

    2. and if he needs to go back to the philippines, would he be question about it, that he was out of the country when we filed for the petition and just went home when we receive the NOA2 and time to get his medical and interview done?

PLEASE HELP!!! ANY INSIGHTS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! :help:
