To be expected, there were over 200 Republican amendments made to the bill and the Bill itself was created and collaborated by both Republicans and Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee. However that still wasn't enough for a single Republican to vote for it.

Up from 30% during Bush's tenure but probably more important Americans should look at how people in other countries perceive the USA. Ratings are way up in other first world countries.
