Does anyone know how the VCS is doing right now? I am waiting on my NOA2. I recieved my NOA1 Sept 15 so I know I still have a long way to go but........ I would love to see some approvals or hear if things are actually "up and running" and what we can do to get them moving faster!!!!!!

Me and my fiancee never had an update or a touch but received that NOA2 in mail on November 24th (date on NOA2 November 21st ). But they are still not change status of our case on theirs (USCIS) site. Is that wird or they just not update case status.

I cannot answer your question,am sorry!!!my fiancee recieved the NOA2 thru email dated nov 25,so we do not have the hard copy yet..Dont worry about that much,everthing will be alright..Like what you said you never had an update or touch but you got the NOA2,same in my case...Just hang in there...goodluck for everyone here in VJ...Thanks for responding the topic...

Same here,last updated was august 12,2008.Since then,the case was never been update/touch.But,we got the NOA2,so thats all that matters.I checked the status online,and updated nov-25,2008...

Good day to all.My fiance mother received the NOA2 last Nov 21, 2008 and it was dated Nov. 13, 2008.

My fiance is in Iraq and all the paperworks are being prepared by my future mother in law.

After NOA2 (approval letter) what are the things to do next?

Should I call now the NVC to inquire if i already have case number?or just wait for the mail?

should I still pay the DV?and how to schedule for an appointment in the embassy?

Does my fiance need to call the US Embassy to shedule for an appointment?

Your fiancee can call NVC and ask if you have already the mnl case #,after that call the USEM to schedule for appointment...If the NOA2 hard copy received,ask your fiancee to scan or ask for a copy cuz you can use that for your medical...goodluck..

I would like to thank you guyz for the advices you had given to me,thank you so much and i turly appreciated it.Now,am too very careful and what i did now was after my fiancee and i are chatted i saved it into another folder not only in yahoo archive...just in case....but im sure it wont happened again...heheheheh...Congratulations CRAIGCAM,your fiancee passed the interview..goodluck for everybody here in VJ...

I wouldn't stress too much about it. My fiancee just passed her interview yesterday and they never looked at any of our chat logs, emails, phone bills, etc. The thing that the CO was most interested in was our photos. Start saving your chats logs again and this time print out copies at regular intervals, like once a week. You will have to print them out for the interview anyway, so, get a headstart. And if you have computer problems again, you wont lose everything.

Hello, VJ Friends! It was 9:30PM U.S.Time (Nov.24) and 10:30AM Phil. Time Today ( Nov.25) ; my fiance and I were chatting when my fiance received email notification saying " On November 24, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)". My internet connection was on and off and we can`t chat properly so I was kinda mad but it was all gone when he shared this news. We were all smiling and happy when we received this email .We have received just one touched/ update after our NOA1 and next update was just a noticed of approval. At first I can`t believed this, but it is all true . We hope to asks again your helping hand what would be our next step. For those who are still waiting for their NOA2, don`t lose hope it will come in God`s appointed time. It was my fiance`s birthday present few days ago and our Thanksgiving too. God bless us all in this Visa Journey.

shouldn't your fiance have a copy of the chat logs also, because you used the same program

Actually,he saved our chatlogs when we both agreed to transfer chatting in yahoo after meeting thru dating site.2 weeks before reformatting my computer,accidentally he deleted the chatlogs when he was started to print it out.I felt glad cuz atleast i still have the copies.But unfortunately,i lost mine too just yesterday after reformatting my computer and installing the new version of yahoo messenger.But i still have the call history in yahoo..

I am beggining to worried now because one of my proof of evidence[chatlogs]that i saved in my messenger archive are lost or i cannot find it now,its like 4 mos of conversation in yahoo...My computer got virus and need to be reformat,what happened is after the reformat i installed Yahoo messenger version 9,and when i checked my messenger archive all the conversation was lost.Im on K1 visa,the NOA2 did not approve yet which is 3 and half mos now...I still have some evidences thoug,am just worried the chatlogs cuz for me its one of the heavy evidences of on going relationship,is it too late to start again saving the chatlogs?am more than a half way waiting for the approval,sorry am just too positive that my NOA2 is coming very soon..

Start saving again and print out daily. Phone records are better than chats and emails. Pictures still the most looked at by COs. Fiance making more than one visit a big plus naman.

Especially at interview.

pag k1 visa ba kailangan pa ng cfo stamp and cfo guidance and counseling? kasi mag flight na ung fiance ko sa monday and he has not attended a a seminar yet

Yea,CFO stamp is needed...kailangan umattend sya..sa passport kc iaatached yun eh..he should attend the seminar kung ayaw mong hangang A lng sya ng pinas..
