  1. Hello all, my wife has her GC but has been offered work in Arazona with fellow Filipinos. We live in central TX and I need to see what needs to be done

for her to go and have no legal problems. She has had her card for a few months. I dont think its bad for her to go work with her friends for a few

months and get some extra cash for her family back home. I work over seas a lot and will be leaving her here for months at a time. So I think she will

be ok with working out of state. But the legal thing needs to be correct for her to do it.

    Jeff

She can live and work anywhere within the USA, all she has to do is notify uscis of any change of address using form AR-11.

  2. hi everyone, just wanted to say that my journey has officially begun TODAY!!! yes i did it, i finally mailed my I-129F packet. i hope i did it right, i double, triple and quadruple checked it. im praying for the fastest time possible, but i read today about the new timeline of 6 months now  i think it will be faster than 6 months i am hopeing for february....haven't people who filed in june received there NOA2 acceptance, i think i have read some posts like that. i am filing from the Vermont Service Center, i know its a long wait, but let the journey begin!

how do i start my timeline?

I filed I-130 on June 17. I filed my I-129F on July 1st, I received NOA 1 for both but haven't received any NOA 2 for either one and yes I also filed my papers in Vermont. I don't know how the system works but I have noticed that some got their NOA 2 fpr those who have filed theirs after my dates. I guess some use the agency to get a head start and pay the neccessary fees.
