  1. :help: Once again as I do every week, I will call the USCIS about the status of my wife and they will ask me all the stuff, File Number, where I filed and who's the benificiary... if something consistent about the USCIS is the ROBOT customer service they have there. Same information they gave is the same one you read online, why even have them working? Why even pay these people working as they claim to be customer service when they can't even give you any information? Why waste taxpayers money, i figure that's what they get their paycheck from, if they don't know anything. How about use them to help out going through our documetns in the USCIS office and use their time and money wisely. They get PAID, why not earn that money...? :(

Ummmmn, I am getting disappointed but I just need to be strong for me and for my wife for us to be together. I am seeing alot of story here about other people misuse the system and being fraud. That's making it harder for everyone else that's genuine. On top of that we are seeing people getting approve before us after they filed 2-3 months ago...!

Sorry to vent, I just have to let it air out... cool!

  2. FRANKSONB was right, I went to consulate in the waterfront cause I need to show them proof of some singleness. I told them that in the USA there is no way of finding if the person is single or not, such record or documents doesnt exist. But in Philippines, eventhough I was from USA I still have to get a CFO, stating that I was never married in the Philippines before, I tried to cover all aspects of paperwork so it wont delay my processing for Visa. I took CEMONAR because we got married in used to be called Cafe Orchidia. Then all

the paperworks done. Anyway... the embassy or consulate knows it doenst exist so no need to worried about it.

  3. You know when u asked if there from Cebu, you will have alot of responses...hehehe... my wife is from Cebu. She is staying in Hillside, Talamban but recently moved to her aunt in Looc... so that's another person she can talk to. She also waiting for her visa. I don't give her number online for security purpose but hit me up and send me a message if you need.

Goodluck with your journey... US ARMY MEDIC ROCK ... no offense CORPMAN... REMEMBER some of you I worked with in the battle in Najaf and Fallujah.

  4. You be better off asking you brother in law because you will have to file for those informations, salary, work, fifures, so if you decide to have your sister as co sponsor, it doesn't look good... blank here, blank there, it just will raise some question and it may not be legit. Goodluck, just ask your brother in law if you have good relationship with him as bro.

  5. YES, you definetely entitle to child support and alimony. Since you , I suppose, have copied of married certificates, his information...etc.. they will be able to track him down. Getting an attorney may be the best way since you there in the Philippines and he is Nevada. Not is not fair for you, don't let run away from his responsibility. GO GET HIM, it's the law to pay child support and now alimony.

  6. Your gf need to get to NSO and apply for that documents stating she was never married before. It takes a week or so to get it back from NSO. I am born in the Philippines and grew up in the US but when I have to apply to get wed in the PHILIPPINES, we have to show a proof that we both are singles. I think we pay Php 1000.00

But for A US citizen, there is no proof of singleness. We don't track who is single.

  7. I use FOREX but technically you are in California, you have alot of company options. I am from Texas, so they have to ship from TX to CALI, then to PHILS. California is alot quicker to get to program called BALIKBAYAN box and weights doesnt matter, its the size of 60 inches around. Bigger box cost more of course but an average box is 60 inches around, the rules of the weight, if it doesnt rip the box and make bulky looking shape, then ur good! Goodluck, all you have to do i slook for Filipino store/market in CALI and they will tell you the price- avg is $ 85-120 per box.

  8. You got NOA1 at least, join the wagon we all waiting here to get our NOA2, some got theirs earlier... so if your lucky you may get yours like some people that got theirs already. Myself and few people here seen some people get theirs NOA2 when they filed there documents after our time and yet got their NOA2 before ours, I guess if your lucky... you may get yours before ours.

  9. My mother was married to my step dad who is a US citizen but my mom wasn't. My step father petitioned us for I-130 and got here sooner because at that time we are under 18 years of age. My brother and I got here in about 4 months after that due to many corrections on my birth certificates which was had 3 different last name that was spelled wrong. One with middle name missing, one spelled wrong, and one was used my maiden name instead of my last name.

Okay to make the story short.....YESSSSSSSSSS he can file for your kids without even adopting the childs, if he adopted the childs then he can legally changed their last name to his , so forth and so on.

  10. The above statement was right, you both have to have the G325 and the names need to be matching or it will cause some delays and possible of more documents need to be file. Like a certified documents for correction... you may need for them to have that corrected, less hassle in the long run. Get a documents proven that that's the real name for the parents and have it certified.

Goodluck na lang sa iyo, ur husband a contractor in Iraq?

I seen the GAP in the time frame... INGAT!

  11. We are in the same boat like some of us in the VJs. I tired to be strong but sometimes its hard specially when I see people get theirs approval before me but yet they filed their documents after me. As they say the earth is round, so does our fliers, we just keep going in circle... I know how your husband feel... but him leaving his job and live with you might not going to be benificial for both of you and we have an economics crisis UNLESS he has money to support both of you and know someone to get a job right away... it will be even hard for you.

  12. Waste of your time... they are looking on the computer the same thing you are looking at your own time and computer at USCIS.gov. They will repeat everything whats in your NOA1 letters that " we received your case ..blah blah blah........................ and don't hesitate to call when you have question. Is there anything else I can help you with? " Blah Blah Blah... you must as well recorded what they say because you will get the same message everytime you call them.
