Sure. My appointment was at 9.30. I got there at 9.15, waited not even 10 minutes and got called in. The guy was very nice. He asked me to confirm everything in my paperwork, we joked about the crazy long list of questions on the application form, he had me read and write one super easy sentence, asked me 6 easy questions, lets see if I can get them together...
1.Who is in charge of the executive branch?
2. If the president can no longer serve, who becomes president?
3. There are 4 amendments to the Constitution about who can vote. Name one.
4. Name one reason why colonists came to America?
5. What are 2 rights of everyone living in the US?
6. During the Cold War, what was the main concern of the US?
Then he had me sign 2 papers and I was done. My Oath ceremony is this Thursday!

Hello everyone!
I would like to bring my mother to the US to live with us permanently as soon as I have my US citizenship which should hopefully be in the next 2-3 month. She is going to visit us at the end of June until mid September on her passport. So my question is, if I (receive my citizenship and) apply for her green card (I-485 and I-130) during her stay here, does she fall under "certain people are eligible to apply for a green card (permanent residence) while inside the United States"? What exactly does it mean? Or should I wait for her to return to Germany and apply then?

Are you talking about going straight to Jamaica from Germany for a vacation and then POE in USA?
No, she wanted to go to the US first in November just using her passport and then fly to Jamaica in December for a week and then go back to the US this time using her K1 Visa.

I have a question for a friend. They applied for a K1 Visa in June and everything went quick and smooth and her interview appointment for the K1 Visa is in 3 days in Frankfurt so if everything goes well she should have it at the end of October.
Question: Is it possible that she comes to the US on her passport at the beginning of November, goes on a vacation (early honeymoon due to his work schedule) with her fiancee to Jamaica (they booked it already month ago not knowing she can't leave after she entered on the K1 Visa) and enters then on her K1 Visa when she gets back from Jamaica? Or does she have to use it right away when she enters the US?
I hope this question makes sense?! If not please ask!

Just got the package back
, cause hubby put a money order with the amount of $595 in. Because of $5 to much they sent the whole thing back instead just a check... Gotta send it out tomorrow again! Oh and a question, the first page got a stamp and a remark, should we reprint it or just send it like that? What to do with the blue letter??
