Yeah I have been waiting since Jun and my adjuct was in Nov and still I got no word yet. Guess it is a waiting game. I have a friend that lives in the same state as me and filed a month after I did and it took him a lot time to get his noa1 and he got his noa2 a couple of weeks ago. I got nothing no news at all. So I know your frustration.

Yes another week and still no NOA2. I dont even look anymore i dont even like to come on here cause I get to upset. At least my fiancee is coming to visit me next week for two weeks but still doesnt change the fact that I still dont know what is going on with my case. If I dont hear anything by monday the 22nd Im going to start calling and try to actually talk to someone everytime I call I get a recorder asking for my receipt number and says the same thing case received and pending. Grrrrrr. Anyway I hope everyone has a great holiday and that the ones that are waiting for their NOA2 that we hear something real soon.

I also noticed that my timeline has changed I filed in June and I was adjucted from Nov 3 -15 now i am dec 3 - 26th. Guess Im the 6 month mark now. I'm still waiting to hear about my NOA2. I have a friend that filed a month after me and he got his a couple of weeks ago. So I dont know what is going on. But I hope everyone hears something real soon. I keep my fingers crossed. It can be stressful. But at least you should know you are not alone. Good Luck to everyone.

I know how you feel. We are still in the same boat. If you can make an infopass appointment to make sure it isn't lost and you can ask them directly if you are stuck in some kind of security check. Maybe that will give you some peace of mind. Even though we seem to have already been assigned to an officer nothing is moving. So...we can only drink tea and wait. Try to relax a bit. We will both see our SOs very soon. We should be happy about getting married.

Yeah I know. I am still hoping and waiting. But at least my fiancee will be coming for the holidays for two weeks that will definately put my mind at ease. Just gets a little stressful at times. But I know we should hear something real soon. Keep praying we do.

Another week has gone by and still no NOA2. I really think they lost it or something the website I dont think is updated I haven't gotten touched since july. My friend got his before me and I filed a month before him. Everyone seems to be getting theirs and I still got nothing

Yes that is what I am thinking. See now I get the alimony and child support and with my job sends over 32K a year. I will still continue to get alimony once my fiancee lives here just when we get married I wont get it anymore. But we plan a march 2009 wedding. so up until march ill still receive the alimony. If they count it now. I haven't received my noa2 yet been a long 6 months. Im just trying to prepare when that times comes I believe that if my alimony goes away after I get married i am still 27k. Ill still get it while he is in the process of his interview so I'll have to put that in. Oh this is draining my brain. That is the only document I am worried about. Im trying to get prepared well ahead of myself. But I do appreciate your responses and advice puts me a little at ease.

Yes alimony will go away once I get married but I have been still receiving it for over the past year so that is still considered money that I have made this past year. I dont live with my mother I just live with me and my three kids.

You'll need to show income level of 31K or more (125% of poverty level for household of 5-you, 3 kids, & fiance) to satisfy the affidavit of support.

If your income isn't going to be at that level (inclusive of alimony/support) then you'll need that co-sponsor. See below.

Oh ok so I need to add him too. I make just over 31K. But that includes my child support and alimony. Can I use that. That technically is income to me. So with my job and child support and alimony I make about 32K. Is that enough. Or should I get my mom to co-sponsor me.

So if I dont need her for the AOS then I shouldn't need her the affidavit of support then right.

Okay that is a little bit understanding thank you very much. I know my mother is a little hesitate. But said use her as the last resort if she dont want to do it I can always ask my friend.

Thank you for your response but im still confused. I am a us citizen always have been. I already have an employment letter from my employer. I dont have much in my savings (don't know if that will cause a problem). I've have money in my account and can get a bank letter. I have my divorce agreement that shows how much my ex husband pays to me. I can submit that. I only made 3000 last year cause my ex husband didnt pay me and I was out of work I just got a job this year. I already got the affidavit of support notorized. So what I am trying to say I can't use that 2007 tax return cause it shows I made no money. That is my question do I have to submit it anyway showing I made no money. but have made money this year and hopefully he will have his interview way before I file for my 2008 taxes. I appreciate the details you gave me. Just thought it would be a little bit simplier than that.

If I have a job and receive child support and alimony is it necessary that I have to supply tax returns. My tax returns from last year i didnt make any money cause I was going through a divorce and my ex husband wasn't paying me the full amount i was to receive. And 2006 was when I was going through a separation so my ex husband would be on the tax form cause I was married in 2006 got legally divorced in Nov 2007. I have my employment letter I can supply documents of how much I receive for child support and alimony and I can get bank statements of how much I have deposited through the year. But tax returns will be no good for me. I thought you need tax returns if you are self employed. I already have my affadavit of support notorized which I did back in Oct. I believe with all of that I make over the poverty level. Cause it is me and my 3 children. Do I have to put him too. I am so confused about this document and stressed out to the hilt. Cause my mom said she would co-sponsor me but use her as the last resort. I am trying to do this without her co-sponsoring me I know she is a little hesitate. I live in Georgia and she lives in New York. Can someone tell me what I can do. Thank you in advance.

I have a quick question yes it is me again. I feel like my head has so much information in it and im trying to get some answers. Ok here goes. My friend has received his NOA2 which he filed after me and I still haven't received mine. Anyway. He said that the letter said it should be done within weeks. They send the packet and schedule an interview. Now here is my question. I am hoping that my NOA2 comes in any day now (fingers crossed) but in three weeks my fiancee has decided to come visit me because we didnt know how long the process would take. He is coming dec 24 and leaving Jan 8 just for two weeks. If my NOA2 comes in before he comes will that screw him up for an interview. And would it be schedule while he is here in the states. I know he has to schedule his medical in London and go for his interview in london which is about 5 hours from him he is in england. Im just worried now that might screw things up. And I know he would be upset because he cant cancel his flight. And if packet 3 comes to his house while he is in the states. Can we do it online and then send it to his friend in england to print it out and mail it from england for us. Wow i dont know what to do now im getting nervous can someone shed some light for me plssssss. Thank you very much.

Well it is December 1st and still no news about my NOA2 i used to be excited to get the mail now I dread looking in it just to be disappointed there is nothing in there. And funny thing according to my time that has changed everyday. I was suppose to hear something in Nov. Now Dec and nothing. I have called but get that automated system and just get case received and pending. I tell ya if I dont have bad luck I wont have luck at all. Waiting is exhausting that is for sure. I try to keep myself busy. I even got my fiancee to come and visit me over the holidays while we are waiting because I told him I highly doubt it is going to come in anytime soon. So he will be here the 24th of dec until jan. 8. I told him that even if i do get a letter our luck by the time he gets his packet 3 he will be back home. Is there anyone else that hasnt received their NOA2. I am way over my timeline now It is almost Dec 1 and they had my application since June 24 it got touch july 10 and I havent heard about anything ever since. My fiancee is coming to visit me for the holidays he is arriving Dec 24 and staying until Jan 8. I am not sure if that would cause a problem the way the paperwork is going Im sure he wont receive his packet 3 anytime soon. Wish I could hear something soon. Hope it is not stuck under a pile and forgotten about. Just hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you I found that out about the doctor he is going to go to his regular doctor to see if he has all his vaccinations up to date then go to the embassy doctors for his medicial.

Make sure he brings some proof of ties to his country for the POE just in case. They can refuse him entry and you don't want that to happen. I took a letter from my employer saying "scheduled leave from work", copy of my mortgages, car payment etc. He may not need to show any but good to bring with him. GOOD LUCK and enjoy the holidays.

Okay thank you very much I'll tell him that he was going to tell him that he was coming for a visit but planned on going back to see his son. But ill have him bring something just in case. He wont lie to them he will tell them the truth.

the first thing he will receive is packet 3 which will check he has the required documentation for the interview, ask him to return some forms and contains information about scheduling a medical appointment. the interview will be scheduled once they have received the forms and processed them.

it took a month for me to receive packet 3 after we received our noa2. i'm sure a short trip over the holidays won't disrupt anything.

oh ok thank you very much that is what i was worried about and so was he cause we didnt want it to interfer just wanted to get this done as quickly as possible but since the noa2 hasnt arrived yet i figured that if t comes in the next couple of weeks we should still be in good shape. Just worried since it was close to the date he may recieve his packet 3.
