ok thank you very much so copy of passport is the best way and do I just copy the first page with their photo and number on it. And I know the 134 doesn't have to be notorized but some told me the passport i am sending in should be notorized.

So if I get a copy of their passport with their photo on it is the first page enough or is there some other they need. And getting their copy of passport it dont have to be notorzied.

Just want to know if Driver's license is good enough for evidence on citizenship from my co-sponsor and does it have to be notorized. What is the best I can ask them.

My fiance went for his medical friday 2/13/09 but still no news of his interview date dont know if that is a problem and if I should call. I sent him all my paperwork but can you believe it is not there yet should be there on monday he got my valentine's day card today and I mailed it on the same day. I am getting nervous now cause I want to make sure I gave him everything and have no surprises. This is what I sent to him please let me know if there is anything I am missing.

I have the affidavit of support with my two employment letters, pay stubs, and bank statement showing what I depositing for the year and my current balance. I also included my divorce agreement because I do get child support for my three children. I haven't filed for my taxes yet and last year I made no money just 3000 didnt have a job. But I did get a co-sponsor my neighbors. But since they were both on the tax returns I have included both their 2007 and 2008 tax returns. They both are over poverty limit not only combined but separetly as well but I had them both sign it just in case. Did I need to get their passport photos (not sure if I did).

The NOA2 notice - he has by birth certificiate and my old marriage certificate to show my maiden name on it. Letters - pictures - boarding passes - engagement ring receipt.

In the I-129 they have my passport photo do they need another one for me. Am Im missing something.

He has the copy of the I-129 packet. Letter of affirming our desire to marry.

My close and dear friends will be co-sponsoring me and my fiance. Since they are both on the tax returns do I use both or do I just use one of them. And if I use both how do I fill out the form with both of them on it. Thank you

make sure you have the latest version of acrobat, that solves most problems with pdfs.

the co-sponsor does not need to be a relative, it can be anyone who meets the required criteria.

i was wondering if someone can just help me out a little. I couldnt download the i-134 affidavit of support so I went to my friends out to print it out I guess it is the new form and it didnt have to notorized I an just double checking if that is right. I posted a question on that in the general discussion and I got some arrogrant idiot telling me I need to read better and that is criticial for your visa journey I thought that was uncalled for when simply I was just double checking because my finace had got packet 3 and I need to send this to him asap. So if I am right I dont have to get it notorized. I would appreciate the help thank you.

But for some reason my computer says it can not decrypt this document. Guess I have to call my friend and have him email it because i cant do it. So see it wasn't my mistake he just printed out the form before I got there. Because I can't get it on my computer. And beside I thought this site was to help out people so they can understand a little bit better and not just by saying if I dont read things. Because it is my computer not me.

yeah well i just printed out the form there was no instructions attached to it just the form. I had to go to my friends house and he printed it out for me so only that page printed nothing else. And believe me I read everything i get just there was no other paper that printed out. But thank you i think im doing fine im not really that dumb just dont want to miss anything.

I just downloaded the new form of the affidavit of support and it doesn't require it to be notorized is that right just checking because i knew that it did but does that mean it doesn't need to be anymore. Just curious because it doesnt have it on the form.

let me see if I can simplify the question. I do not have currently three years of tax returns. 2006 was a stay at home mom. 2007 my ex husband i lived off my child support and alimony due to getting a divorce that year. 2008 i didnt not start working until august and have not filed my tax returns yet. Currently I know I make over the poverty limit but my only proof is a letter from my current employer proof of child support and most recent pay stubs. Is there any issues you think I will be going through.

I always seem to ask this question because I am seriously confused. On the Affidavit of support form to show income you need a bank statement an employment letter. Okay if I was self employed I need tax returns. I am not self-employed. Last year in 2007 i filed my taxes I didnt have a job went through a divorce and my ex-husband didnt pay me much. As of August 2008 I got a job working in a local school. I got my employment letter already for that. I received child support from my ex husband since nov 2007. So my questions is I can not give my tax returns because I didnt make enough money. But I will this year because I just started a second job about 2 weeks ago. I am getting an employment letter for that as well. So with my child support document showing how much money I get and my two employements letters I will be over the poverty limit. So does it matter if I dont give them tax returns. I have all the other support evidence I need to show my income is that correct because my fiancee just got his packet 3 and I need to send this to him asap. For some reason I dont know why this is stressing me out but it is. My mother is giving me a hard time about co-sponsoring me so I am seeing how I can do this without her help. I am a mother of 3 and my finacee that make me 5 people and I will make over the 31,000. I make about 35,000. Hope this is good enough to send out. I appreciate any advice.
