  1. Ok guys i have good news for you. after 4 months and almost 2 weeks

:dancing: our petition got touched yesterday yeahhhhhhhh :dancing:

i know maybe it doesn't mean anything at all but at least they are working on my petition

i cross my fingers that i wil get NOA2 soon

hang in there guys .and keep praying for it

my best wishes for all of you

All right then...so, how long when u get an email? Congrats:)

  2. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

id use this graph for sure if you are going to contact your senator.

national average of 6.5 months = eeeeeek

I don't think this graph works in our benefits. They show .5 more than the goal is.

Somehow, I don't think senator would like to see that..)

the graph is important to those that have beeen waiting over 6.5 months which is quite a few ppl.

That's not an impressive evidence for people who have not reached 6months yet

  3. Im going to have to agree. It's really awful that the cases have been pushed back so far. I can certainly sympathize, but really, no person short of VSC employees knows the cause of the delays. They may have had large numbers of employees quit for all we know :D

eeee..with all due respect: you dont' quit your job when the country in recession and massive lay offs are happening... Just an FYI:)

  4. Noa and Mia, u need to be persistent w/government workers and stay on the top of things. Ask them to explain to you nonexistent work load compare to CA center.

I just sent a graph to my case worker from Senator's office and he had forwarded it over to VT for some answer.

Let's see where we are tomorrow.

You are basically looking at this like: government higher authorities push government lower authorities. But the key word "government". I've worked w/government people before and very well aware how they like to beat around the horses.

  5. Anyone live near Vermont? Ha.

I can fly there and making a skiing trip - it's cheap from where I live. But I don't want to kiss the lock if no one is allowed to talk to anyone.

I called the Senator's office again...everyone should contact their Senator or Congressman. His staff told me that they had 30 days to respond to them as well. The Senator's staff did know about Visa Journey though and actually checks the site!

I just emailed my Congressmen's office the graph. Let's see.

  6. I am putting things together to write a letter to congressman. Because i am looking for answers why my application is taking so long at VSC. They requested me to submit evidence with the letter. Does anyone know what type of evidence i can use from this website. Thanks in advance.

I've done that last week - just an explanation with the links. U can fotograph the graph from previous page, that could be substantial.

They gave me answer that VSC has 3-4 weeks to respond to the Congressmen office inquiry.

  7. Well vermont filers, it looks like this may just be your week, so far VSC has approved INFINITELY MORE petitions than CSC, that's right, INFINITELY MORE! With that kind of ratio I don't see how vermont filers could make it to the end of the week without an approval.

The down side is so far it's 0 approvals CSC and 1 VSC... all I can say is CSC apparently has two speeds now, warp and snooze...

    U mean this:

Week Of # of NOA2s from CSC # of NOA2s per day from CSC # of NOA2s from VSC # of NOA2s per day from VSC Weighted* # of NOA2s per day from CSC

    1 2009-01-19 1 0.33 1

    2 2009-01-12 63 9.00 18

    3 2009-01-05 52 7.43 16

Yeah. that looks "incredible promising" for VT.

  8. So unless you want to keep moving, depending on which centre is processing the petitions faster, you are either in luck or not.

Well, it seems luck has nothing to do with Sep applicants yet.

None of us VT has seriously been approved yet - with 2 exceptions, so I would not say we are counting on luck at this point, rather than on the stupid slow movement of lazy people, who aparently, don't know how to do their jobs right in sufficient matters.

  9. Hi folks,

Been a member for several months but my first post here. Want to let you all know that our petition was approved today by VSC! There really is hope for all of you out there feeling like it will never come!!

BTW, we were 166 on the NEW Igor's List when the approval came today. VJ said adjudication between January 22 and February 9.

Thanks to everyone for making this community so valuable. On to NVC and HCMC!!!

    -Todd

1 NOA2 for the entire day from Vermont, sounds "really" hopefull

  10. Is it me or does the waiting for NOA2 seem more difficult since the beginning of January? It's like watching paint dry.... and it's too cold for it to dry so it's taking forever ;).

On a positive note, each day brings us closer to our approval date, whenever that may be. But please let it be soon...

It really does suck- paint drying or water boiling- they both take too d*** long!!! Its been 6.5 months since I've seen my man- the longest ever! Its amazing how close we've grown being apart but I want us to grow closer CLOSER!!! For me this especially sucks because if this doesn't happen soon then I won't be able to classify him as my dependent for the fellowship I applied for to go to Africa next year- which means we will have to come with the money ourselves to pay for him to accompany me!!! Plus, I wanted us to spend some time here in the states with my family before we leave this hemisphere. AAAAAHHHHHH!

It's been longer for us. :((( Since May - and that Sucks(
