Nat, that is still very quick in "wedding dress" terms All of my American girlfriends who've just gotten married spent several months finding THE dress. I guess it's US kinda thing, people plan weddings for a year or more. Nothing like back home where a decent wedding can be organized in 3 weeks, lol . Hope you don't have a cold!!!!

Hi Ana! How are you? I am home, I guess I am feeling better , didn't get any terrible symptoms. I just got a call from my co-worker, she told me she has got a cold and staying home tomorrow. Okay, it might be not a year, but almost 6 months, because at first we filed in April. We're not planning something big, but we want to have a nice wedding. Yes I am lucky to find it so quick , I was supposed to go to a few salons, but I did like this one, so I thought I wouldn't find anything better.

Alex! Hi! How are you? Thanks, I am good, though I have a feeling that I have got a cold, so I have to take some remedies before going to sleep. The day at work went well, everyone was glad to see me again.Luckily tomorrow I am working in the evening, so I will figure out if I am sick.

Was there a game on? I think there was. I was good until the jaeger bombs. What a nasty drink. Just got off a long phone call about travel plans back to see Iuliia and interview stuff. I mentioned hunting but she blew me off. I will have to give her uncle a call. I want to see more approvals. Let's go folks.

Time to tap the keg. Just heard from my arch enemy CRIS. It seems that they took my threats seriously. They were scared. I will be nice to them now.I guess that I can leave the mailman alone now.

We got approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to check it twice just to make sure is said "approved." I will take back most of my threats that I made towards VSC. Most, not all. I have to rely on them getting my petition to NVC. It said I was approved on the 15. My case status still says pending, but I got the e-mail. Time to call Iuliia. She will be happy, I think. Just kidding.

I am glad to get out of everyones way and let them get their approvals. I am really pulling for Nat and Ana. I've got to stick with the Russian speakers. No offense, just my home team. Now to get an interview date and see if I am going duck or boar hunting. Yes, what a man, I am going to help her immigrate and I am thinking of what I am going to hunt when I get there. Just spending quality time with her uncle.

Nat, try to stay halfway warm. I forgot that they don't turn on the heat for the apartment buildings for a while. I remember in kharkov last year they waited until the end of October for Iuliia's apartment. Not the most desirable thing, waiting for the weather to get colder for someone to decide heat is now needed. I do hope the heat is turned on when I go back. Actually, I hope it is in October and she has no heat, but a visa in her passport.

By the way, my Vasya is from SPb too! Yay! I am actually going there for a week at the end of the month (even though it may not be the wisest thing to do concerning the petition is still pending and all, but.... ). He's said this past summer was so much colder than last summer, yes?

Sure I will let you know if I get any news from VSC.But it's quiet at the moment. Last update was on July 9th. I think it's okay if you come to St-Petersburg while it's still pending. Yes this summer was much colder, and the winter is going to be colder as well

I have been just reading my medical books today, and I have been staying at home because it's windy and cold outside. I have to use electric heating , because they didn't turn on heating system in the building.

Our attorney received our NOA2 hardcopy yesterday saying that we ware approved September 7 , but on the USCIS website still shows; Current Status: Case received and pending.

we are so happy!! Finally after 16 long months we are approved!
