Hi Rocks! I haven't received anything yet. I know I need to get only one yellow envelope that contains invitation for the interview and instructions how to prepare for this. There are instructions on website, so it's okay, I know what forms and documents I need. But I need to show this invitation when my interview day comes. So I am concerned that it hasn't arrived yet. We called DOS on November 12th, they told us the date and that the letter will be sent soon.

Sorry hasn't checked in on you in a week or so, was getting over my jet leg. Well, I'm here in Florida, enjoying the sunshine and of course the company of my love . We are in the process of planning a Vegas wedding for beginning of December so wish us luck . Yeah, I know, I always said we gonna have a sunset ceremony on the beach, but plans kinda changed and I'm actually looking forward for our Nevada trip, lol .

Anyway, just wanted to stop by and wish good luck for those still in the waiting room. I know it sucks big time not to have dates and I really wish I could offer more than just couple kind words for Ryand and Chantal and my dear Jenni!!!! Just stay strong guys and keep your eyes on the prize. It's all gonna be worth it at the end.

i know its prob been posted before, but i cant get a hit on the searches i've done, so sorry

i've come across another question about these forms, (oh the frustraition never ends)

on the ds 230 this tme i cant fit the whole address in the space for parents address, i can old get as far as house number and name and then road, not town or county

its the same as my current address for both so should i put same as # 13 or i could fit it in if i wrote it in by hand, whats the best solution in these instances?

can i fill some in by hand?

I have got the same question, but my solution is to write town and country shorter. Otherwise I can't fill in this line.

Congrats on the new approvals lately as well. I'm glad to see everyone is pretty much past the longest wait now.

No news here - no date or anything. We've been calling DoS once a week. Bo also won't be able to come up to fly down with me. He can't get the time off work.

I'm working pretty much all Christmas, so it's been hard. I've been having trouble trying to keep my head up, but it'll happen when it happens I guess.

How's everyone doing? Ana, I'm so happy for you!!! Today is the day!!!!!!!!!! Weeeeeeeehhhhh!

We got married last Thursday. A short ceremony, but nicely put together by the judge. Everything here is going pretty well. After 2 weeks here we're going to the local office here for a SSN, and then we're going to bow ourselves over the AOS.

I got an EAD stamp at JFK, and the expiry date is 11-03-2009 ... hmmm what does that mean? For what I read here I still have to apply for EAD along with the AOS. We're also going to the DMV when I have the SSN. Pfft, paperwork paperwork ... it never really stops eh?

My oh my, what a stressful two days I've just had. I serioulsy doubted I'll be making my Monday morning flight since as of Thursday night embassy still didn't have my visa printed. In fact, we've heard that it was done with only around 4 pm today. My sis had only two hours to rush to FedEx office in order to pick it up. What can I say, she's a total star for making it in time! Anyway, see you on the other side of the globe next week, lol

Hi Everyone ! I hope you are still here. I know most of you are pretty busy with preparation for the trip or the wedding. I hope everyone is doing well.

My news , yesterday we called DOS and were told the interview date, January 13, Tuesday. I have to wait another 2 months though. Anyway it's good to know it's scheduled at least. Today I have checked up the Embassy website, and yes I saw our case number and the interview date is correct. I hope I will get the invitation letter from Embassy soon!!

Sorry for keeping you in the dark for so long - was having PC troubles . Anyway, I passed my pretty much non-eventful interview on Nov. 7th and should be flying down to ol' good USA this Monday . I'm a little worried about getting my visa as today FedEx has only 2 days left to get it to me so I can make my flight, so please send some good vibes that way for me

I came home & guess what!...In mail box I recieved a letter from NVC dated November 06 2008

I m sure now that my last touch was approval.. :thumbs: . and the USCIS website case is still saying pending .. I m Waiting for my NOA2 too.( I will wait 2-3 day to get hard copy) Hope tomorrow it will show up in my mailbox. (last touched 10/31/08, previous touch was 7/11/08).

Nat, Still hoping for you to get your interview date in the next 2 weeks. Florida in the winter is a little warmer. How much longer are you going to work? Yes, I will be at a Halloween party. I know that some people in Ukraine get dressed up and party, how about St. Petersburg? I think some wear the same costumes for New Years. This past New Years, about half of the people were in costumes. What a party. By the way, that was not me in the Halloween card picture. That was my date. Oh, now you know better.

Nat, you can only track the case that was sent to the embassy. Generally when u call NVC they do let you know. So try next week for sure.

Ana! Hi! Thanks. We will call next week of course. That's good that you have scheduled your medical. I am thinking when I would like to pass it.

Nat, The day after I scheduled the interview, Iuliia scheduled the medical by calling them. She did not even have the KEV#, but she gave them her name. She only has to give them the KEV# when she goes. I forget everything that she needs. She knows it and has it. We have been online checking the consulate website. I know she has her immunization records, passport photos, and I do not know what else. If you can do it the day before the interview, like in Ukraine, I would do it then. Save you a trip to Moscow. I do not know the Moscow consulate rules. The medical is good for 6 months in most places, maybe longer. Check the Moscow consulate website to get the number for the medical and call them. I am sure that they can tell you on the phone or on the website what you need. Best of luck.

Jen, Still working late hours? Is the current nor-easter giving you rain or snow. I know it is hitting Maine. Just not sure where in the Maritimes you are at. Hopefully it misses you.

Kirk! Hi! Thank You. I got MOS # number when Jack called NVC.I wouldn't like to pass it the day before interview. I guess holidays season starts in December-January, so it may be complicated then. Anyway I will think over this weekend, when it's the best time to pass.Tomorrow I am going to complete my vaccinations at medical center here.

Nat, Oops. I made a mistake. Our interview is Nov. 5, not the 6th. I am arriving in Kiev on Nov. 3, Nov. 4 Iuliia has her medical, then interview on the 5th. On the 6th we are travelling to either Kharkov or Lazova. I am suppossed to go boar hunting that weekend. I hope that comes through.

Jen, I hope that they give you an interview date soon. You have patience. At least you are done with the medical.

3. Put in the following in the reference field (for example): "22 OCT 2008A" (of course you'll put in the date NVC gives you when the packet was mailed)

4. Choose a date 1-2 days after the date you put into the reference (so in the example it will be 22-23 October)

5. Click track and look for Moscow in the list of results

My news- Jack called NVC today, they told him new case number and said that it will be delivered to embassy in 2-4 weeks. They also might contact him when it's in embassy. I doubt though.
