Finally my status update changes today 1st time to 03/16/16 after interview on 02/24/16. Alhamdollillah. May Allah make easy for me and everyone waiting for good news.

That's a very good news inshaAllah you will see the issued status. Do prey for me too brother it's been very long for me now.

My visa has been ISSUED today..finally,Alhumdulillah..!!

Do pray that I get my baby's(8months old)interview date(IR2) soon,been 3weeks I sent documents to embassy..

No yAr nothing yEt last updated was on 10 march, last week mY case updated 2 times 7th march & 10 march , after that nothing happen same thing AP how abt u?

As far your mom submitted the required documents and you guys already confirmed it by the embassy I'm telling you inshaAllah your mom will get her visa issued in two weeks? now chill up and start packing..

Interview was on 23 feb , status updated rite away after interview to AP, den today it's updated again AP.. Its Cr1 case

My wife's interview was on 24th Feb, since then there is no update.

All these updates are good signs and you guys will get the issued status soon inshaAllah, do remember me in dua. It's been 50 days for my wife's AP the last update was on the 10march.

I request all pakistan based visa seekers , please please please if you guys Realy want to help other fellows then please always filled and update the timelines so that we can have better understandings of what's going in with our cases else don't bother getting visa advises from others , some people even don't bother to inform after getting their visas approved and not even bother to reply to other requests like DeUsman kind.

M new to this forum,my name is Tayyaba Yasir.

I want to know that I had my IR 1 interview on Jan 27th 2016,CO said everything is fine,he kept my passport n gave me white paper(221G) n asked me to send I 864 by joint sponsor along with supporting documents.I sent them on Feb 9th but unfortunately my husband somehow forgotten to send 1099r(JS is a retired person n gets around 73K annually as pension n SS benefits).After 2weeks of sending documents,I got an email that I need to send w2 n I 864A(from JS spouse).

As my JS is a retired person so she doesn't have w 2s n her income is far above the requirement then why embasssy asked for I 864A.

I searched alot about it,all that I got wz that they filing taxes jointly n second as my hubby forgotten 1099r(gave only 1099s) so individual income wasn't proved.

I have sent them 1099r along with the reason via email.It's been 5days but no update from them.

Please suggest what should I do,should I mail them as well or wait for any updates.

You can call the embassy or wait for their email reply. There is a thread "administrative processing for my wife" you can join it and get better assessments about your case.

My wife haven't got any call to collect her passport yet.

Hopefully she will get it by tomorrow or Monday Insha-Allah.

And if u get 2-3 updates this week, most probably you will also get issue by today insha-Allah.

I checked mine but still shows AP with the current date as 10 March, but I'm very optimistic it will issued any time soon inshaAllah. So did you or your wife got any email or call about visa issuance ? Please do update when your wife collect the passport idk how long it takes to collect passport after visa issuance. Once again congratulations brother. BTW where are you located in US and in Pakistan?

Hang on brother you are almost there. Did you send any email or any senator inquiries to the embassy?

Case date status updated today March 9.

My wife's date status updated again today , first on the 7 n then again today on the 9 of March , inshaAllah very hopeful for the issued status Ameen.

My wife was also given a White 221(g) on February 17th at US Consulate, Islamabad.

The notice says,"your visa is denied under provisions of immigration and nationality act. your case requires additional administrative processing."

Did your wife get the same white 221(g) ???

The CO kept her passport and told my wife to check the status online.

I am a US Citizen. I provide all required documents to USCIS and NVC. I don't know why are they doing this after everything is approved by USCIS and NVC in United States.

Please share your experience and update if you get the visa.

My wife got her visa on feb 25th so thank you guys for all your help

Congratulations brother , could you please tell me Did you had any date changes updates before the status shows issued, and does the status changes from AP to Issued or from AP to Ready n then Issued. Thanks brother

He just gave a white slip to my wife, and said it may take upto 4 weeks.

When was your interview? and how did you contact your senator, does it really help? I am thinking to wait for 4 weeks and if doesnt happen then i may contact my senator.

Is there any updated date status ? The ineterwiew was on jan21 it's been 40 days now. I emailed the embassy n the reply to get back to them in two weeks. You can search the website of your state federal senator n then look for constituents services, there you need to print out an aothirization form for immigration inquiry filled it and then fax it to your senators office but before that call the office and when you faxed them call them again to conform they received the form. Keep in touch with them n they will inform you about the inquiry but this is not much of a help though just to get the embassy alert about the case . Good luck n keep update us thanks

Hi everyone, it seems those who have been put on Administrative Processing handed over some sort of 221g slips of different colors at different posts, my question is about my wife's case she been interviewed on jan21 2016 and never been given any sort of 221g slips to her but till now her status shows AP. Is it possible she is in mandatory AP though not been given any 221g slips?

Still waiting brother. After interview the CO said to my wife "you are done for today, thia is your case number and check your case online.

I sent two emails to the embassy and date gets updated , the co told my wife congratulations and give her two weeks te to collect passport no slips for AP was given till then no updates and it's been 40 days almost, I involve my senator and let s hope they issued visa soon. BTW for females as spouse of a U.S. citizen the solved the cases within 60 days mark , I hope we all get visa issued soon inshaAllah

I emailed the consulate on the day of interview and got reply the same day. They said Case is under final review and admin process check back again in 4 weeks.

Then i sent another email and got the reply today. they said case is under final review. check back in 2 weeks.

i guess this is normal procedure for Pakistanis to go in AP my wife case is in ap to been 3 weeks almost they gave her white 221 g asking for more pictures and took her passport shes under cr1 tough not k1

It's been 38 days my wife is in AP and still no visa issued . Send email to the embassy and they advised to inquire after two weeks is this in normal time frame. Thanks

Hi Friends,

So my fiance was given a white 221g with administrative processing marked on it. His passport was also kept. I emailed the Islamabad embassy asking them why he wasnt issued a visa. I got a reply back from them today. This is the reply:Dear Sir/Madam, Our records indicate that this case is in its final review. Please feel free to check back with our office after four weeks. So guys should i consider this a good sign? They didnt write the usual its in AP so just wait for it response. Plz give any feedback you guys might have!
