I thought you are supposed to only send federal tax return transcripts. I don't have anything regarding state taxes.

Also, I am planning to send photocopies of our tax transcripts, and bring the originals that I received from the IRS with me at the time of the interview. Or should I send the originals and request another copy for the interview?

dont worry about state tax transcipts, the ones they want to see are the federal ( i not even sure you can request state return transcripts ???)...good luck

update: package was delivered...i requested signature comfirmation, but im guessing i will have to wait until usps website updates

If someone can add us to the list, I'd appreciate it...we sent ours off today to the Dallas lockbox. I am assuming our local office will be Newark, NJ. I too only sent what they asked for, 3 years tax transcripts, 1 bank statement from Aug 2013 and another bank statement from Aug 2012 and paid the fees with a check drawn from our joint account. I almost included utility bills and copies of both of our drivers liscences but chose against it as they weren't asked for in the instructions. I would have liked to have sent a copy of our lease but we sent the original off with the RoC paperwork, I suppose if they want a copy of the lease I can obtain one. We actually werent in a rush to do the citizenship and although we did file under the 3 year rule, the window for filing under the 5 year rule actually would be anytime after Oct 1 2013 for us. Anyhows, good luck to us all and I guess it's back to checking VisaJourney everyday for updates on this thread, fun stuff !

quick update, received card in the mail yesterday (4-10-12)...good luck to those still waiting

received approval letter in mail today, no email or text alert, decision is dated as 3-29-12...good luck to those remaining...

Hello!! I have a question: Does the Biometrics appointment come from the Service Center or from the ASC? Can you guys believe my NOA1 is dated 8/17 and I still haven't gotten it? I called USCIS and supposedly, my name is on a waiting list to get the appointment. It makes me really mad, cause I live in a not so big of a town and I have to wait for the appointment? But... can someone answer my question? Thanks!!!

The first 2 sentences of an I-751 receipt notice (I-797C Notice of Action) reads as follows:

Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year. During the one-year extension you are authorized EMPLOYMENT and travel.

we just had to go through the same situation in filing the I-751 for my stepson, but in part 4, i listed his mothers info (10 yr card holder), whos removal of conditions was approved this past may...now i am wondering if i should have put my info (usc) there instead...what swayed me to put the mom's info was the space provided for the a-#, and technically he obtained his conditional residence through her being married to me...also as far as evidence, we included his mom's appoval notice for her i-751, copy of her 10 yr green card and his school report cards for the past 2 years along with a copy of his conditional green card...maybe a rfe is in my near future...

unfortunately we are going to have to reschedule that date, because the stepson is out of the country and wont be returning until 9/2...if we only waited a few more days sending the I-751 out it probably would have worked out...they seem to be sending out the bio appt letters alot faster than they did back in december...

can someone please update our info...check was cashed 08/02/2011...received noa1 dated 07/29/2011...thanks...just a side note, the noa1 had last name spelt wrong, and while on the phone with uscis to request it be corrected, i popped our copy open and the typo was my fault...i must have looked the I-751 over at least 15 times and didn't catch that (i did get the spelling right in the signature box and "other names used"...i think a rfe is in our future for certain...

can someone please add us to the list...our package was sent off today for my stepson, his mother was approved this past may, but he wasn't able to be included in her petition due to entering the U.S. 8 months after his mom...so we get to do the waiting game again...fun times...

It would be form I-751, and the fee is $ 505 filing fee and $ 85 for biometrics, for a total of $590....

we never received any confirmation on the ar-11 either...also, not everyone gets the reminder to remove conditions notice either, i know we didnt get one, you don't think that you'll forget to remove conditions, do ya?...lol...anyhows, good luck

ummmm...i believe the LingChe nvc shortcut is a guide for CR1/IR1 visas, which wouldn't pertain to you as i believe you would be following the K-1 route...you might want to take a look in the K-1 forum....good luck

i actually still have the envelope that yenia's card was sent in...it's a priority mail envelope (flat rate mailing envelope) with the confirmation/tracking number viewable from the outside above the addressee's name and address, the return address is VSC, has red borders at the top and bottom with "priority mail" printed under the return address window, and is approx 6" x 9" in size...
