FINALY something!!! AP will soon be on the way, I hope EAD too!!! BTW this was the first touch since NOA, I started getting worried

Congratulations! I am very happy to see you got your green card with no issues because I am in the same office and also "other visa". Best of luck!

I cannot even get a State ID. Mine is already expired. DMV said I have to get EAD, so they can renew my ID. I cannot even get a driver license. I feel that those officers are totally ignoring my file!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How come they cannot process cases based on the received dates?
Yes, that is really messed up. So sorry for you. I am adjusting from other visa, and I was lucky to have d/s on my I-94 which allowed me to get 4 years valid state ID. At least something......
Hope all of us start working soon

Congratulation! Still have no touch :crying: :crying: :crying:
Nothing here either. Like I am stuck on the bottom of some dusty pile...

I had the same problem! I got 2 BCG vaccines, after birth and in school, and I had false positive result before. I warned doctor and nurse about it, but they told me the same thing - they know there will be reaction, but in US they don't accept BCG as an excuse. Of course, my mark was 13 mm and by the way I still have it on my arm 3 months after TB test!
I was lucky to only get reccomendation in mail to visit a clinic later, but they didn't force me to do that. I double checked the I-693 copy they gave me and saw that in the part where USCIS asks about treatment reccomendations, there was nothing written. It makes me frustrated that just because they have different rules, and they KNOW we are not sick, just think they can fill you up with antibiotics for months and treat you for something you don't even have! I was lucky with my doctor, but also that proves that yours forced you into something that is not mandatory.

I have absolutely nothing against you or your case. If you remember, I tried to help you file, so did many other members here. But be careful and don't think that people don't remember what you said and can not find your posts.

My question is, if you have a K-1 visa in the process, all be it if the petition has been submitted, with or without approval, or if you have returned the forms from your home country and are waiting to be invitied for an interview, and you visit the usa to take care of your fiance's father who is really sick and help around the home using the Visa Waiver Programme, can the immigration officer see this at the port of entry, that you have an application processing, without you submitting the information? If you said visiting a friend would he be able to tell that it was a straight lie from his screen or something?
Kind Regards,
Rich

My hubby doesn't have a middle name and we left the boxes blank and it worked for us! I was afraid writing NONE or N/A might become his middle name.
Blank works. I prefer "----". "None" is a name in some languages.
LOL
LOL I was afraid of that too, so I wrote none without capital N. I was afraid to leave blank since I heard you have to put something. They figured it out, NOA didn't have "none" as my middle name

So AP is covered too though it wasn't on bio notice?
No biometrics for AP. There is no picture or fingerprint on the AP document, like the EAD and GC.
Thanks! That's what I thought but then I read something else... Anyway, never mind now

Hi everyone! I read something that made me confused. When I received letter for biometrics, and I sent both I-765 and I-131 with AOS, on biometrics stated only AOS and EAD, so I thought that was normal.
Yesterday I read a post saying that in a case like that there should be another biometrics appointment. Is that true? Or my case was ok?
Yes, you are ok. I think most people have only 1 biometrics for both AOS and EAD. Some do receive two separate appts but I think that's pretty rare.

Oh, and congrats on EAD and AP cards. Keep them coming!

Relax, you have nothing to worry about. See a doctor and have him confirm that she is pregnant and will have the shots waived for now. USCIS will accept that, go with the process, and she will receive the shots after she has a baby. Enjoy your new life! Congratulations!

As for right now the AOS costs 1010 Dollars which includes the AP and EAD.
The biometrics are taken all in one day for the EAD as well as the AP
My fiance just went for her biometrics and the appointment letter stated that it was for the I-485 and I-765. There was no mention of the I-131. I asked about it and was told that she should receive another biometrics notice letter and have to come in again. Unbelieveable. I was told some people receive one letter for biometrics, others receive two. has this happened to anyone else here? It seems so redundant, they already have her fingerprints and photo, yet we will have to go back to have it done again. I guess that's the efficiency of USCIS.
I had biometrics just for AOS and EAD, and I sent I-131 also. When I filled the form in the office I cicrcled I-131 along with these two, but they crossed it. I thought that was normal? Anyone else?

Hmmm it is very tricky situation. As far as I know, no airline would let you buy tickets just for them. I think the best thing to do is to go to the airline office and explain the situation with all evidence about the kids. Good luck

I stayed once in b&b "Inn on the Ferry street". It is downtown in historic district. Great stay and great breakfast, check it out.
note: They offer free shuttle in 5 miles radius.

I actually did that when I sent AOS package. I called bank service line, they couldn't see it on the statement but there is the way to track it. Give your bank a call. Good luck

There's a bit about this in the FAQs:
Thank you very much rae_and_scott!

I posted this in Work & Travel section, but no answer yet. I will paste it here, maybe someone can help me:
"My husband and I would like to go on vacation to Puerto Rico. I know it is in general treated as US teritory and US citizens do not need passports going there, how about us with pending AOS? I heard different answers - both that it is treated as domestic flight, and that there are customs and passport control (I don't have AP yet). Which one is true? Has anyone here been to PR recently?
Thanx a lot"
