recieved a rfe today,,,,requesting more evidence of what we already sent in the first time,,at least we finally heard something and can now focus on getting thru this,,,please pray for us,,thanks everyone hear for all youre help!!!!

i check status every day on the uscis website,,so far ,, no changes,,,,u hear about these things but u never think they will happen to u,,,it will all work out eventually,,hang in there !!!!!

we recieved the same letter,it is rather disappointing,, i hope we all get approved alot sooner than 6 months from now

called the nscs today and put in a service request also they told us to call back in 15 days if we dont hear back from them,they did say we were only a couple days outside of the processing time,i thought that was a little odd compared to what they say is the normal times,,well congrats to all who have recieved there cards and i pray the rest of us will be recieving ours soon god bless and good day to all!!

september will be one year but we were concerned when we saw how long things for vermont were takeing so we whent to the service center since it is only a couple of miles from where we live to get some info the agent there offered to stamp the passport and extend her visa till may of 2013 without us even asking so we said thanks and left,,

thanks,,we went down to the uscis and they put a stamp in passport extended her status until may 2013 ,,thanks

has anyone recieved or applied for an extension on there extension ,,what do you do if youre extension letter time runs out before you recieve youre 10 year card ???

for all of those that have not recieved youre gc yet,,what have you done,,does the uscis send you and extension letter or do you make an appt thru infopass and they give you one,,im worried since we are going thru vermont that we will end up at or past the one year mark before getting gc and want to find out ahead of time what we can do ,,thanks

have her talk to her boss in new zealand, they can do alot to help her get approved without them it is estremely rare for a filipino to be approved to come to usa unless they have alot of assets back in the philippines,,good luck

same here, i couldnt fly over to be with her at interview but she was approved and ive read that many times they wont let you in with her anyway,depends on who is interviewing her ,,good luck

we used the washing dc embassy website to get the info on reporting marriage ,followed there instructions and sent it in within a couple of weeks we had the document back and stamped by the embassy,,register with the embassy for email updates,,when the do an outreach near youre area you can request an appointment and get the passport changed ,,we just did both and it was very easy,,got the new passport in just a couple weeks after going to tampa to one of the outreach programs,,good luck

we sent everything in that was done overseas we had such a hard time finding a honest s.s. we sent it without getting things done again here ,,we had no problems

Did you supply your own photos, or did the Embassy provide a photo service at their outreach? they told us not to bring photos,,they took them there

needed new passport before going home on vacation,had the green one with my maiden name in it, we did the report of marriage and then we made an appt with the consular outreach when they came near our place and within a couple weeks we had the new one with my married name in it and its good for 5 more years,,so blessed

go to the embassy website and you will find <report of marriage> follow the instructions there,,we did it and it was very simple to do,,it came in handy when we updated her past port and was more evidence we had to send in for her 10 year card,,good luck

get a lawyer file for temporary full custody as soon as possible ,,the longer you wait the further you will be ,,he knows what to do and if you dont beat him to it you will lose,,lawyer,lawyer,lawyer,,
