Haagen Dazs is a newly acquired addiction for me. My husband laughs at me...I have 4 half eaten containers in the freezer. I am taste testing

    Pineapple Coconut is next...sounds good

  2. i saw this one at walmart:

''Fleur de Sel'' - caramels covered in a chocolaty coating blended into caramel ice cream with caramel ribbons and French sea salt accents. Crisp, salty nuances harmonize with rich, creamy caramel for the ultimate combination of sweet and salty.

but wasn't sure if it'd be good, so i didnn't buy it.

Looks like I need to be checkin out Wally Worlds ice cream...

  3. aaaww :)

Owl’s best friend … Shrek and chum Torque

A GREYHOUND and an owl have formed a bizarre friendship at an animal centre.

Six-month-old pup Torque adopted tiny baby owl Shrek when she was taken from her mother for her own protection aged just three days.

Keepers feared Shrek’s mum would eat her first offspring if she became stressed.

Adoptive dad Torque is now guarding the rare long-eared owl at the home of head falconer John Picton.

They even spend their evenings together watching EastEnders and Coronation Street.

Shrek is free to roam the lounge as she strengthens her legs and often snuggles up to Torque on the sofa.

John said: Their relationship is so unusual but also rather sweet.

Torque seems to have adopted Shrek as his daughter and is now very protective. He follows her around at home and keeps his eye on her.

They play with each other in the evenings while I’m watching television and it is an opportunity for Shrek to wander and strengthen her legs.”

Outdoors at the Ringwood Raptor and Reptile Centre in Hampshire’s New Forest, they often sit together, with the greyhound guarding his feathered friend.

Their friendship started slowly as John introduced the unlikely pair gradually – first by feeding three-inch-high Shrek her meals of marsh rats and quail in the same room, and then holding them close so Torque could smell her.

Seems like it wasn’t such a bird-brained idea.

    Awww...how sweet!

  4. Tamara, what method did you pay the items with - credit card or did it come directly out of checking account? If you used your credit card for eBay, you are protected. Contact your bank and tell them you want to file a dispute over some recent internet purchases. This is bypassing whatever Paypal is telling you, but screw them...they only guarantee up to $200. Once you file a dispute on the charges with your bank, they will credit you the amount of the charges and then your bank will require Paypal to verify that you actually received what you were charged for, which they can't.

Also....I didn't look at which laptops you bought, but honestly, $1,500 for one sounds awfully high. I recently bought a Toshiba with 17 " screen, 320GB Hard Drive, and 3GB RAM at Circuit City for under a grand. And I need something powerful for my profession. I wouldn't recommend ever buying a laptop through eBay - should anything go wrong with it, etc. Anyhow, sorry for the trouble that you're in...hope you can get your credit card company/bank to credit you the money quickly. I agree. A laptop is something that definitely is too risky too be purchased on Ebay. IMO. Mainly due to possible warranty/return issues.

  5. cellulite from eating the whole pint... it apparently has 17gr of fat per each 1/2 cup

:bonk: that's not how cellulite forms :bonk:

I eat easily a pint of haagen dasz without thinking twice. Don't worry about it. As long as u don't do it on a daily basis. Try the light dulce de leche. Mine (and husband's) favorite haagen is the caramel cone light. I've been buying that since forever, but now they only sell the fat one and still, we think that light one tastes way better. try that once.

Okay. I admit it...I am super paranoid. Can you tell? But the ice cream was soooo good. I dint see the lite version, but I could have over looked it. Oh well. There is always next time...

  6. I would definitely look at the specific airline website, or you can call the airline's 1-800 number... you are willing to pay for extra luggage, so I don't think you have anything to stress about.

  7. I usually only have nightmares when I have alot of drama (like an argument) or when I watch a scary movie. I used to bad about falling asleep with the tv on and inevitably I would dream about what was playing in the background. Not good. Other than that, I do dream occasionally, but most I do not recall.

  8. OMG. Haagen-Daz dulche de leche ice cream. I can feel cellulite forming already. I ate the whole pint

####### has cellulite to do with it? I just had some blue bell ice cream called southern hospitality: homemade vanilla with chunks of pineapples, roasted pecans and a strawberry sauce swirl.

anyway, I was all excited cuz Bad Sanrta is on tv and I'm utterly bored, but the danm motherfukcers are blocking all the F words, and how am I supposed to watch Bad Santa without the F words? How? Tell me, how? where's the fukc me santa, fukc me? what's wrong with people!!!?!?!??!
