  3. I believe it is safe to post now..... Tony is safely on his way home!!!!:dance::dance::dance:

He will arrive tomorrow evening, God willing and no problems!

Thank you God for your constant blessings and guidance!!!!

Can you tell me which airline you used. My fiance is from nigeria also and his interview is coming soon. Thanks

We chose Delta. The unfortunate thing was we didn't give her enough to get through immigration and customs. She actually had to return to customs to give them a booklet they should have taken when she was there. Give yourself at least three hours. Also make sure she some way to contact you. Fortunately the wonderful blessed lady at the counter spoke Yoruba, and was able to clarify things to my wife. Also she let her use her cell to call us over here.

  4. I haven't slept well in a week. She missed her flight to Ontario, CA. Fortunately, there was a Yoruba woman at the ticket counter, who assisted my in getting a room and a food voucher for the night. I have to laugh though. She had sweet and sour chicken and rice. She said the chicken was sweet, with orange sauce, and the rice was tasteless. I had to tell her that she will have to get used to different types of food.

I guess getting her hooked on to Burritos is going to be a work in progress.

Anyhow, I have to wait another 6 1/2 hours now. @sigh@

I was so disappointed, I felt kinda crushed she didn't get here yesterday.

She'll be here this morning though, so I guess the consolation prize isn't that bad.

  5. Has anybody flown through ATL? My wife has a two hour layover in the ATL, I know we have prayed about it, but besides reading the POE entries, can anybody give me some advice about it. I have spoken to an staff member of ATL international, she told me that immigration and customs could take up to an hour and a half. Giving her 30 minutes to find her way to which concourse and the gate number.

It has me a little frazzled!

Any advice is good advice. Thanks!
