  1. My husband went to the Atlanta USCIS Office yesterday!!! It was very frustating!!! His appointment was for 10 am but had to wait over an hour and a half to meet with the first agent. There were 40 people waiting in front of him, all with INS Pass appointments and only 3 people serving the counters.

In typical USCIS fashion, the lady that served him started with a rude request and answer. The first lady in the office told him that Our I-130 was dated on July 2nd and that it was unrealistic for him to think that the case should be resolved so soon. Even though she didn't need to see the original documents to look up the case she DEMANDED to see them. When he was able to point out that the information in their system was wrong she became even more rude because she couldn't explain why and tried to get rid of him. She was very arrogant and useless!

My husband was very disappointed and asked to see a Supervisor, the Supervisor asked to see our original documentation from USCIS because in their system it did not appear as filed in December with NOA1 in February. Fortunately this lady was nice and helpful (a needle in a haystack). She emailed VSC regarding the difference in the dates and when reply arrives she will contact my husband to let him know what they answered and the status on our case.

These people are a total disaster! Thanks to God, my husband has all the original documentation in hand, and he can explain that our form arrived in December, our NOA1 is dated in February, and we have an Expedite Request Approved in July.

Nobody in this Office knows anything, the dates do not match with our documentation, and nobody knows that we have an expedite request approved.

    Unbelievable!!!!

I am still thinking that they lost our documentation who knows where!!!

The good news is that today I have a touch in our I-130:

"Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed".

Maybe we are going to be lucky!!!!
