    My guess is that USEM are afraid to be intimidated by the US citizens hehehe...because they know that US citizens are going to stand up for their RIGHT! So...they have a new rule this time ( just my opinion) :star:

    hi guys, i just found out that NSO sent back my DV to the USEM last aug 22. i dont know when will i get my visa? any ideas?

    This is the Badger speaking, Honey is out of the house! :innocent: Its seems the best that you can do is WAIT. Calling the folks at the USEM seems to make them drag their feet even more. When I check on the status there, I get conflicting statements, first it was that the DV was not done but when I challenged that, Grace doubled checked and said yes it is, but could not give me a reason for the delay other than..."they need to check a lot of boxes!" I have been asked to call back and given the wrong extension to call, have been given wrong times to call and in general been given a run around. I've been put on hold for as long as 10 minutes at a time and the supervisor and CO both seem to always be unavailable when I ask to speak to them. They like to CONTROL people's lives so the best thing you can do is stay humble, and wait. Eventually they will get tired of looking at your documents sitting on their desk and will process them. I wish you the best of luck...just be patient....someday someone at the USEM will do some work!

    hello everyone,im just confused about this and im always thinking about tourist visa.i met a friend here in the US.she got a tourist and now shes here. we always talk online and never ask about how she gets here,cause i dont want her to think that im getting in her private life.the thing that made me confussed are,

    first she told me she didnt get a medical the time shes still in philippines so she got her vaccination here in the US? is this possible that you cna live the philippines wihtout taking medical exam?

    ,second is she already taken her biometrics and told me that shes still waiting on her interview for greencard?when getting a greencard the fiancee visa and tourist are in different category?

    third is she got married her in the US and planning to return to the philippines for a vacation next year by june?

    fourth was her passport will expire this coming january 2009 can she renewed it?

    please reply and send your comments so that i can stop thinking about i need your answer

    If you leave the country (Phils) with a tourist visa they DO NOT require you to have a medical exam. YES she can have here vaccinations in the US and very possible to leave the country without it!

    it has almost been more than a week now since our visa interview and we still did not get our visa delivered by delbros. we tried tracking our waybill and still SHIPMENT IN PROCESS AT THE EMBASSY. I feel so frustrated now sine other people who had the same interview date as we did or after us already received their visa but not us. We tried calling the embassy and they say to follow up. How long do we have to wait until we follow up again? Who do we need to talk to get an update on our visa? I just feel so down right now... any reply is much appreciated. :help:

    Just want you to know that you are not alone! I am still waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting......my fiance and i are sooo down and so desperate to know the real status of my visa.

    I just got home from the embassy for my interview, I am so sad things didn't go well for me. i've been interviewed two times. First at the consul then they told me to be back at 1pm for another interview. My second interview is at the Fraud unit. We were 7 applicants 4 K-3's and 3 K-1 applicants. Four of us the problem was we met our spouses/fiances through our relatives and we never thought that will be a big disadvantage for us. The consul thinks our marriage was just a fixed marriage because it was my Aunt who introduced to us with each other and the fact that we just only met once in person and then got married right away. I told them Bill and I known each other for more than two years and though we were just talking on phone, texting, chatting and sending emails and mailing cards by then we fell in love with each other and that feeling remained when we met in person and we decided to get married ASAP because we love and don't want to lose each other. But hell, they're not convinced yet. So they set me another interview at 1pm @ room 1206. When i went to room 1206 that was i realized that the room i'm going to is a FRAUD UNIT. I feels like "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? bakit ako pinapunta dito ano kala nila sa kasal namin fake?" :whistle:

    My fellow applicants kept asking each other why we are here,what's the problem? Afterwards we filled-up papers Q&A about all the details of the relationship like how i we met, did we go out for dates when we were together, time and place of the wedding, how many guests,have you've been courted before, did your spouse gave you an engagements ring, where did he buy,if there's an engave inside blah blah blah...huh!!!!

    My co-applicants has been sheduled to come back on the 30th,the other is on the 11th, an the other one is tomorrow.Lucky for me and the two we got interviewed right away. But GUYS I"VE NEVER BEEN INTERVIEWED IN MY WHOLE LIFE LIKE THAT. My interviewer was a filipina woman but i can't speak in tagalog..haha.

    She asked me every lil details about the relationships but my mind go crant when she asked me about my hubby's ex-wives like how was your husband and his 1st wife known each other, where an what is her job "HAY NAKU MALAY KO BA?!!!"i just told her i on't know maam. Another thing she looked at the wedding photo an she said my husband is not interested or serious on our weing day because his hand was in his pocket "OH, GOOD LOR, IF SHE ONLY KNEW MY HOW HAPPY AND EXCITED MY HUSBAND WAS THAT TIME...I've been interviewed for an hour but i think she just stopped asking me because i cried so much when he asked about my grandparents, she asked my why i said my lolo is dying..Then she console me and said "perhaps, this is not your time yet to get a visa because of your lolo, go and get a plane ticket and be with him first." then she gave a paper which stating i have to call the embassy to schedule of interview "AGAIN" and the mails that i mailed to my husband. But before i left the room she gave me a prayer paper.I was so touched

    Visa received on Sept 2nd

    I just got off from the Hospital, i have mentioned the other day from my previous post that i am going to undergo Tonsillectomy Surgery and finally its done! My operation was last Tuesday Sept 2nd, after 2 hours in recovery room they sent me back to my suite and my sister sent me a text message that says, Delbros just delivered my VISA. Delbros almost did not accept the Authorization letter that i made, i just wrote it down in a piece of paper at the back where i photo copied my passport hehe, the guy said it should be Delbros format, remember when you pay the P250 there was this piece of paper that you filled out for Authorization Name, Delivery Address and stuff? that was he meant but as far as I remember i think i gave it back to the lady where i handed the P250 or i dunno i may just slipped it from my other documents. But anyhow, my sister begged the delivery guy and told him that I might stay longer in the hospital, perhaps the guy was thinking of the hassle coming back to my place again so he then released the Visa Packet and took the Authorization Letter i made. So then my sister brought the packet to the hospital and i am checking on it from time to time just to make sure it is still in the drawer.

    " I may lose my tonsils that day, but it was been replaced with a Visa Packet " shhweeetttt ...

    Glory To God, I made it, i passed the interview with Pink slip only at window 32. The CO just asked me 4 or 5 questiona and im done, i cant believe it. I had & 7am appointment, arrived at USEM at 545am, and get inside around 615, and i was done at 830AM, and i got out from the USEM at 9am i got home at 10AM. MY son is with me too, the CO just asked his name, and thats it, were done. Im so happy, very happy , soon i will be at my honey arms .

    To all VJ's thank You so much for all the prayers. Now just wait for the visa to be deliver by DELBROS. Im hoping i will have my visa and my son next week.MAny many thanks to all the prayers and help to all my quiries.

    usem call center

    hi there guyz. i called usem to follow up my document verification. i texted delbros and they replied telling me that usem did not send any request to nso to verify my documents. and its been 3 weeks now.

    i spoke to usem immigrant visa rep but she told me to call the (call center) which is the long distance number but, apprently the location is still in manila. i tried a couple of times and i just wasted my cellphone load to call this no. but nothing happend its hard to reach them.

    do i really need to call the usem call center to follow up the status of my delbros document verification to be requested to nso? or is theres any other way to contact them?

    I did try the delbros website,,but nothing happen,,nothing come out,,does it mean they done have yet the visa? thanks again ! god bless

    I think you can let your fiance in the Phils. txt the DELBROS HOTLINE to know if the visa has been released to DELBROS.

    Hello, this thing has been bothering me. I am all for the truth and to make a stand for our relationship.

    My family is in the US since 1998 under F4 classification and are now US permanent residents. One of my sisters went there on a working visa that has expired but still residing there. She now got a pending petition filed by my parents.

    In case they make a family background check, I am anticipating for questions to arise during the interview regarding this matter. Does anyone here have knowledge on how it will affect our application? What's the best thing for me to do?

    My father is a US citizen, he is in the US for more than 25 years now...I have some relatives, brothers and sisters that are US citizens too and when my mom went to the US in 2002 but when they applied for a citizenship she was denied for some reason so my mom is in the Philippines now...but they did not question me about that. sooo..I dont think it will affect your K1 visa application..in an event that they will question you so I suggest that be ready and God Bless! :star:

    what I did with my honey's birthday last year was ...while we were talking online I told him to hold on and that I will be right back...then I got a cake lighted it then and sing a birthday song for him.( all lights were out) .....he was sooo surprised and told me that it was the greatest birthday he has..aside from that I sent him a huge card with all the information on the DAY and YEAR he was born..for example the president of that time, the popular song, what is going on that day (history), famous hollywood actors and actress and ETC.... I researched it online and it was cute! HE LOVE IT so MUCH!!!!

    i bought my fiancee's ticket here in the states. and for a few years now, philippine airlines have been issuing e-tickets. i was just wondering if there is something else my fiancee has to present the airlines when checking in other than her passport and a printed itenarary. any help is greatly appreciated.. :blush:

    I think she also need to present a valid Identification (ID) upon check-in!

    I am writing for Kris; she wants to take her medical next week or the week after (if we get our NVC number) and asked me to post for her.

    She wants to know if any pinays will be going for medical in next two or three weeks. She wants to share a room and have companion for the time. We are thinking maybe Sept. 10 and 11, but that is only if we get our number this coming week.

    Thanks, and she will post again tomorrow when she get to cafe.
