  1. I had my N400 interview at the Honolulu office on Jan 12th 2026. The officer said everything looked good on his end, but supervisor approval and background checks would be needed. As of May 15th, I had not heard anything, so I called to find out they had just gotten the background check results. Wondering if anyone here has had their case handled at the Honolulu office and how long they had to wait for a response. Also, how far in advance was the ceremony scheduled? I had planned some international travel in the summer and now I'm wondering if it's best to stay put until hear back, or it's safe for me to leave and re-enter using my green card (short travel <1 month). I receive emails when my case is updated and I can log into myUSCIS to see any updates and fly back to the US if needed. I'm wondering if trying to re-enter the country while I'm in this limbo would be a problem. TIA!
