  1. It's much easier and cheaper to have the Philippines call you if they have an android or iphone and any wifi connection.

Buy a Nettalk Duo at walmart or online for about $50.00, after it has been set up here the person in the Philippines downloads a Nettalk App for their phone. You give them the user name and password to register the phone and now they can call any number in the US or Canada using wifi for free. (except for the $30.00 a year you pay for the subscription)

Or you can register the device here and send it to then and they plug into their internet connection and you can call them when you like...

  2. You must be sucking on big crack pipe this week.

Undocumented workers stand on the corner working for cash, they pay no taxes.

But on the other hand my wife works at a county hospital where all the Illegals go for free medical and to have their anchor babies and then they end up not paying their bills

Our local Children's hospital collects over 80 million a year from the state medi-cal program for services rendered to illegal immigrants children, not to mention state run programs like WIC

  3. You will know the flight and time of her arrival, just go to the Tom Bradly terminal for incoming flights. It will take her about 45 minutes to get through customs/immigration. You won't miss her if she stays in that terminal, make sure she has cell phone or change for pay phone. I know when my wife arrived we were both very worried but don,t worry it will be fine and you will have a wonderful life together

  4. As someone who got married in the Philippines, I think there are several advantages:

    1. The visa process is a lot simpler AND cheaper! (if you can call anything dealing with the US government simple)

    2. Once your wife arrives in the US, she can start work, school, apply for driver's license within a few weeks instead of having to file AOS.

    3. You can throw one heck of a wedding in the Philippines for pennies on the dollar compared to the US!

    4. Having the wedding there lets you show you care about her family as well as her. (Lots of brownie points from wife and in-laws!) (joke!)

Just remember to get your 'Legal Capacity to Marry' from the US Embassy so you can get your marriage license and to plan for the 10-day waiting period before you can get married.

This is all true and very good advice..

  5. It would not be wise to go back until you have your 10 year green card, I also plan to move to the Philippines with my wife but I want her to at least have permanent resident status and even better she has US citizenship. I love her and if something happens to me I don't want her to have any problems retuning is she wants...

  6. If you own property and have large investments it's a good idea, but if you marry and have children and it does not work out your screwed anyway, if she has children and you adopt them your really screwed. I myself just like you am just a working guy with not a lot to lose so I did not get one or think it needed. If I had asked my wife for one I really don't think she would have been offended at all because she expects that I will take care of her. This is a tough choice that only you can make but keep in mind that most Filipina's, especially from the provence are very sweet and if you treat them half decent they will be with you forever. Making a Filipina your wife is a great choice...

  7. Yeah I'm the only non racist liberal here I guess. But, thats why we have the ACLU to help sue in any possible discriminatory situations such as the AZ law. And luckly the government has a filed a lawsuit

Its not that easy to come to the usa the legal way, thats the problem. More people would be legal if they could afford it , and the process was not so convoluted. Mexico is poor, people leave there to come here to make money to give their families better lives

You cant say you would not do the same for your family, especially if you couldn't afford to support your family in your own country.

How the hell can you call anyone in this forum racist when everyone here is in an interracial relationship.
