Live agent mentioned office has requested for you to be scheduled for an interview and the case is still with the NBC. How much to rely on this information?

Thank you. My progress tab disappeared over the weekend and now the time has changed to 8 months. Updated at time stamp is 19 Sept. Quite disappointed that the wait time is increased. It was 6 months-> 3 months-> 7 months-> 9 months-> 8 months. Will complete full 5 year anniverary tomorrow. I really hope I am able to finish this journey before end of this year? Too ambitious?

Interestingly, now it has increased to 9 months! 😳🙄 This morning it was 7 months which increased to 9 months. No idea whats going on. Interestingly, milestone days remaining and milestone have been 0 for last 2 months

I’ve been tracking my N-400 processing through the API and noticed something unusual in the “myProgress” updates. After about 1-2 months after filing, my status showed like this up until this morning, it looked like Display text: Interview scheduled Milestone: 0 Milestone days remaining: 0 Overall: 190 Overall days remaining: 117 Start date: [Redacted] Time until decision: ~3 months 😃 Time until next milestone: "" Today I checked it and WOW: Display text: Interview scheduled Milestone: 0 Milestone days remaining: 0 Overall: 190 Overall days remaining: 189 Start date: [Redacted] Time until decision: ~7 months 😢 Time until next milestone: "" So, in just one day, the estimate jumped from 3 months to 7 months — which feels pretty discouraging. I was really hoping to wrap up this immigration journey by the end of the year. For context, my 5-year anniversary is on Sept 23. Does anyone know why this kind of sudden change happens? Could it just be a glitch, or does it actually mean delays are ahead? And the bigger question: should I stop checking this every day and try not to obsess over it (definitely easier said than done)? I really appreciate any insights. Some people seem so lucky to get everything done in just 3–5 months. Wishing the best to all of us who are waiting patiently and eagerly.

When does case transfered to local field office? I will be completing full five years next week. It looks like my case is still at NBC (Emma Chat).
