I am currently in the U.S. and my non-immigrant visa has already expired. My husband (a U.S. citizen) and I have filed for Adjustment of Status (AOS) to apply for my green card. We sent the documents and the fee has already been charged from my husband’s card, which means USCIS has received my application.
However, I haven’t received my NOA (Notice of Action, Form I-797C) in the mail yet, so I don’t have an official paper to prove my pending status.
I plan to take a domestic flight soon, but I am a bit worried about traveling without my NOA. Do you have any experience with this? Did TSA or airport officers ever ask you for immigration documents while flying domestically?
Any advice or shared experiences would be really helpful. Thank you!
