  1. Yup that is what we are doing.. just checking many times every day 🙂
  2. wow… for over a week and there were no available slots released ??? What If no one canceled 🥲
  3. Hi guys. Our k1 visa application is now at the final stage of scheduling an interview appointment with the local consulate after receiving the email from them this week telling us to proceed to schedule interview. I have filled in my information and paid the fees in the system however we are not able to see the available dates on the scheduling page. Every time we check, it just says “No Slots Available” and has been like this way for 3 days. I called the consulate CS and they only told me to keep checking the page until there are available slots, and there’s nothing else they could provide to help. Additionally, I have filed a feedback on the system raising this issue and now the feedback status just updated to “Escalate to PMO”(not quite sure what it means). Well we will continue to check everyday and hopefully there are slots released very soon as we hope to complete the interview in early October… but it looks like the slots are released randomly and we have to be always on the lookout. Has anyone encountered similar situation when scheduling the appointment with the local consulate? Could you please share some of your experience with this ?
  4. Thanks… we are k1 visa and now the case is In Transit after sent to DOS for over 40 days!
  5. That makes a lot of sense, thank you! I checked yesterday and my case is now In Transit after sent to DOS for over 40 days!!
  6. Hi guys. Our case was sent to NVC in June 17 and we submitted a public inquiry and got our NVC case number in July 14 but we have been checking the status online and our case is still At NVC. Do you know why it is taking so long for them to send the case to the local embassy? Thanks.
  7. Updates: NVC responded our inquiry and we received our NVC case number today! After checking, our case is still at NVC. They also gave us an Invoice ID number, but I’m not sure what to do with it or what we are given it for.
  8. You should. But they are also responding to inquiry slow. Someone whose case got sent to department of state on June 16 also received the welcome letter last Tuesday… I was expecting to receive mine last week too but nothing yet.
  9. Our case was sent to the department of state on June 17 but so far we haven’t received any email or case number from NVC yet. I checked the NVC website and they states that they are now working on cases that were received from USCIS on June 30, does it mean that our case got skipped or delayed? My fiancé also filed a public inquiry last week but so far no response.
  10. We submitted our I-129F with a Chinese passport copy but since I am getting my Hong Kong passport soon and I would like to use my Hong Kong passport for the DS160 Filing and attend the interview with it cause I want to travel with my Hong Kong passport. Both passports state 'CHINESE' as my nationality, my name and DOB are all the same. Do you guys know if there will be any issues if I switch passport mid-process in this regard?
  11. Do you guys know if you could use a different passport from the one you submitted for I-129F to fill out DS160 and attend interview? Not a renewed passport, but a passport from a different region. Both passports state my name and DOB exactly the same....
  12. Our case was transferred to NVC last wednesday! Thank god finally, after 68 days....
