  1. ahh okay. the approval should be extended by a consular officer. you can reach out to the embassy maybe? i know for the manila embassy they do it at the interview as long as there are updated letters or intent to marry. as for a case id maybe its the uscis case id from noa1? i do not believe we get anything else.
  2. Send a PI to the NVC with your USCIS receipt number and attach your NOA2 and ask them for your NVC case number and let them know you never received K1FTP. You can also try reaching out directly to the embassy: support-indonesia@usvisascheduling.com or giving them a call 1 703 844 2653
  3. appreciative of all the responses. overthinking gets the best of me again. 😅
  4. I am sure this is actually an impossible question to have an answer for but how heavily do you think consular officers will weigh what is on social media vs the evidence they have in front of them? I am a very private person and hate social media in general so our pictures and stuff arent posted for the world to see. Any insight is helpful at this point. I know they are also looking for any anti-american sentiment but that is the least of my worries when it comes to my fiancee and am just concerned with relationship scrutiny.
  5. Just got our K1FTP e-mail. Was 19 days after receiving our NVC case number via PI. I would also like to say thank you to all the moderators and individuals outside of our small group of may2025 i-129 filers that have been on this journey and provided help and insight into the process. your wealth of knowledge has been invaluable. i know we have a long way to go but i wanted to share my gratitude for everyone before things get stressful again i forget lol.
  6. My understanding is that if you are not going to use the asset then it is not needed. If you plan on using the bank account I would go with the letter from the bank as that is what is on the instructions for the i134 but it could not hurt to also have some bank statements.
  7. My NOA2 date is 1/6 and when I checked yesterday we were still at NVC. I do not have an exact date for sent to DOS as I never got an update from USCIS, but when I submitted a PI to NVC on 3/19 I received my case number. So rest easy, I know the waiting is hard, try and get all your ducks in a row regarding paperwork going forward. We will get through this
  8. I never received an update from USCIS saying mine was sent to NVC. I waited 60 days and submitted a PI asking if they had received it, and sure enough they had. If it has been 60 days since you received NOA2 I would send a PI and ask.
  9. THIS IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. 😁 I knew i was supposed to confirm something but i could not remember what.
  10. Should get a confirmation in your email. All you can do is wait now.
  11. Says At NVC and provides instruction to log in to CEAC with case and invoice number.
  12. I sent a PI after not hearing anything from USCIS for 60 days. Within 24 hours they sent a reply with my NVC case number. No way to know how long they have had it since I never got an update from USCIS. I assume at least 2 weeks since that is the minimum.
  13. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html just make sure when you put the birthdate the month is spelled out and not a number or you'll get an error message. not sure the instruction is on there but also attach your noa2
  14. I followed the guide provided by visa journey for the k1 visa pretty much to the T and got approved with 0 issues. Also, only sent bio page and stamped pages from passport, but I did provide my birth certificate as well.
  15. I sent an inquiry to NVC yesterday and they responded taht they had my petition and sent over the NVC case number. USCIS never told me they sent it -.-
  16. Probably about time to send them an online inquiry. I think 2 weeks is what most people give. I am still stuck at USCIS. Just twiddlin mah tumbs.
  17. This is exactly what I have been doing the past 2 months. It is the only positive in having to wait and not rushing through things. Plan, plan, and plan.
  18. Having a desk job with free reign of internet access (nearly) is not always a blessing unfortunately.
  19. anyone else with an NOA2 date around Jan 7 still waiting to be "transferred to DOS/NVC"? the anxiety is killing me as we approach 60 days.
  20. Fingers crossed you hear something soon!!!
  21. 2 months seems to be the waiting time for NVC to receive the approved i129f. Its all a waiting game. Unfortunate for us lol
  22. I am most likely overthinking everything. I easily meet 100% and on the fringe chance they even look at the i134 in Manilla we should be okay.
  23. I cannot find anything from USCIS about the 100% just anecdotal and what some law firms have posted online. I am most likely over thinking everything. The assets I am sharing are 30x the difference.
  24. I have seen posts that on the off chance they do check for the I-134 at the interview they have been looking to see if the 125% poverty guideline is met. I know for I-134 it only asks for 100%. 2024 and 2025 I did not meet the 125% due do taking unpaid time off for a LOA (2024) and traveling (2025), but I have more than enough in assets to cover the difference in stocks. In 2023 I took no unpaid time and just barely squeaked by the 125%, so I guess my question is, should I bother attaching my tax transcript for 2023 and is any kind of explanation necessary? Same employer and I have gotten a raise since 2023, I may be overthinking things, but I want to make sure Aye has everything she needs. TIA
  25. Medical is only good for 6(?) months and I believe they have to have done ds160 first to schedule. They can however make sure they have all their shots done and a record of them. Take a breathe there is plenty of time.
