  1. she can take the cfo class before the interview as we did.then they issue a certificate of completion.then have interview.we stayed 3 nights at hotel across from us embassy manila and got passport delivered there to hotel.then wife went back to cfo with passport and got her stamp.

  2. and once again.these tickets should have been thought of alongtime ago when the two of you became engaged.these are costs that very few people think of.after my wifes interview in manila she got a cheap flight from manila to sf 12 days later.went home to gensan for 12 days to stay with her family and say her goodbyes.we travel home every year

may i also add i will never fly pal again

  3. dont sweat the 1070.00.i hate to bring bad news but later when removal of conditions come due its another 590.00.sounds like someone planned poorly and now it bitein in the butt.you and your husband must find a way to pay all these fees and stay on track with the agreements you signed to.i know it is extremely difficult with the way the economy is and jobs are almost non existant these days but all this must be done..

  4. i have the update here.early this year her husband secretly filed for divorce without her knowledge.he was automatically awarded divorce without her even knowing nothig.heres the present.she signed a prenup so she gets nothing.she did get divorce papers and moved out of husbands home.she is set to file i-751 on her own with what she has, including divorce decree.i do believe she has enough evidence.now, she is staying with her friends around and she will hunt for a job.i told her to go to the county and file for medical, welfare, and food stamps to get her by.i know they will set her up with med/dental/vision and some food stamps but will likely be denied welfare.(no children)as kathryn was saying will the state go after the ex?i also found out this is and was his 4th divorce tahnks kevin

  5. hello all,a friend needs help and we are seaking help from vj members.this couple filed k1 visa.married, and file the aos.now when the time comes to file the i-751 this husband wants nothing to do with it.this women doesnt have anything just a marriage certificate, pic, medical card.they are still living together.can or should she attempt to file i-751 on her own(sounds like he wants her to go back home)if he doesnt attend she will be denied is that correct?what if she moved out now and filed for divorce?this is just so odd for me as this couple seem to get along very well the past 2 years as a couple.i am aware there may be more to this than i know.thanks for all advise

  6. hello lesigh,i was just wondering do cases from california ss get sent to virginia ss and vice versa because of volume.we all know that virginia at this current time is lagging considerably behind california ss.why not shift work loads or add a service center?also, the future immigration issues will eventually change and millions of illegal immigrants will get a crack at legally remaining here in the usa.what will happen to these service centers then? thank you for your reply kevin

  7. i know that feeling a what your going thru.after 7 months waiting our k1 was approved and sent to nvc where we were immediatly placed in ap for a grueling 6 weeks.hang in there and 1 day outta the blue itll be there.nvc automatically selects petitions and they go into several more back ground check.these shouldnt take very long as other agencies have allready done the same checks so they are on file and readily avaliable to nvc.ive seen people fly thru ap and some that drag on and on and on.hope good news comes quick for you and her
