    My case status was recently reworded from 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed' to 'Case Is Still Being Processed by USCIS.' Is that normal? I’ve been waiting almost six months now, so I’m not sure if I’m overthinking it.

    On the day I applied, I received two status updates: 'We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and sent you a receipt notice' and 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS.' There have been no status changes since then, and you're right—no new information appears in the API.

    The status changed to 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS' on the first day, likely because they already have my fingerprints on file.

    When I applied, my processing time was 6 months. After more than two months, I checked again, and it had increased to 7 months. Is that normal?
