Hi, how long have you been waiting to receive l 797c in mail after receiving the electronic notification (txt msg) ? We've been waiting abt a month now. Got the txt msg 03/11 and it said the official receipt notice will follow in mail. I have emailed the lockbox support but no reply yet. Just wondering if others waiting this long at the moment. Thank you!

We got a txt message 03/11 stating that they had received our petition 03/05 and that a receipt notice will follow in mail pls follow the instructions in that notice. But yes, we'll just wait 😊

Ok, thank you 😊that's really the only thing that matters. I don't mind waiting for the receipt notice as long as I know that our petition is being processed. Just a bit annoying cause I see ppl receiving them fast and our is over 30 days due...but I suppose it's all about patience now 🙃

I checked on the USCIS web page about the possibilities to send an inquiry regarding our receipt notice and that tool they have showed that I can't ask them about our case until 2027 😂 Am I right to assume that even though we only received the sms and nothing by mail yet BUT our check was cashed on the day we got the txt messages, that our case is being processed?

We received that sms receipt notice 03/11 stating they received our petition 03/05 and that an official receipt notice will follow in mail....but we are still waiting...its been 30 days tomorrow....🤔 We didn't apply online so I can't sign up for an online account until we get that receipt notice by mail... I've read here ppl get their receipt notice by mail in about a week so just wondering why ours taking so long? The check was cashed already.

I know right 😅 oh well 🤷 It'll be a good while before my interview since we only just sent in our petition.... But glad to find another Finn here 🥰 and hopefully things will go fast and smoothly for us all!

Hi, here's another Finn who noticed the same thing about the interviews being held in Stockholm instead of Helsinki...We are applying for the spouse visa as we are married already. Glad to hear Stockholm handling things smoothly without a backlog 🤩

Ok, husband checked with his bank ---the check/cheque 😁has been cashed 🥳 They received our I-130 03/05, we got the receipt notice txt msg 03/11 and that's the day they cashed the cheque too✅ I read that it takes 2-4 weeks to receive the I-797c so its been two weeks now so I think we are good. So far so good 😊

Oh wow 😲 so we should be good then so far since we received the receipt notice. Thanks for the info! The receipt info txt msg said that an official receipt notice will follow by mail. So waiting for that now 🙂

Hi, How do we know when USCIS cashes our cheque? How long does it usually take? We sent in petition I 130 and received the "your case was received" txt message with our case number.

Hi, we just got notice of receipt on our I130. Can the beneficiary sign up for the USCIS online account or does it have to be the petitioner? It's just that I am so much better with all things online than my husband 😂

Oh that would be ok to enter the country with A2 and have I 130 pending? We were planning on doing consular processing since am still in Finland but if I would get that a2 visa, enter the country and then do aos, right? I just want to make sure we are not doing anything that would bring us any kinda delays or setbacks.

It would be an embassy admin job so I believe its A2 visa.

Hi, I've read here that its not possible to apply for a work visa in the US while you have I 130 pending but what if a company in the US is willing to sponsor me with a temporary work visa, would that be ok? And I am married to a USC, he is in the US and I am currently still in my home country Finland. Thank You!
