Hi. It's been such a long time since I last been active here. VJ and it's members had been such a huge help for me during my K-1 visa process journey and I thank each and everyone for that.

Now I am here again in search for help. I just got my AOS approved and have my 10 year GC. My husband will be working back in Iraq as a contractor. My question is if am I eligible to apply for expedited citizenship given the chance that he will be working in Iraq?

I really need your help. Thanks so much.

Hi. I would like to ask if ever my fiance will buy my ticket online from Manila to Florida using his credit card. Will I have a problem with that once I am at the airport? Will they require me to show my fiance's credit card? Or do I have to just show them my confirmation email that I am booked on that particular flight?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks (F)

Every airline is different and many times it depends on whether it was booked on a site other then the airlines such as Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc. Just call the airline at the airport that you'll be leaving from, give them the confirmation number or electronic ticket number, and ask them what they require. Most times all you need is your boarding pass and passport. Welcome to America.

I dont have personal experience about that, but i have a friend who did the same thing. Her fiance bought her plane ticket through his credit card, and she dont have any problem with it on her arrival or even on her departure for as long as she did have a photocopy of the credit card, front and back part. But just to make things sure, XiaoBai is right. try to ask if what are the things you need to comply so you wont have any problem on your flight.

very very helpful thread!! i just sent a 20kg package to my husband in CA last week through fedex and boy they charged me 15k! if i just knew this before that saved me a lot of money!!!! but are they safe?? no thieves like postal services?? can they also ship electronics??

we're hoping they are safe :D they're like fedex, dhl, etc. you can track your stuff online naman. i went to fedex also before i decided to send my stuff through manila forwarders. they want to charge me 21k for 30 kg lang. unlike manila forwarders wherein you have to put all your stuff in their jumbo box and it's just the same price regardless of how heavy it is. they'll also deliver it straight to your home in US.

i'm not sure if they ship electronics. Pink is sending her wedding gifts eh. yung mga babasagin pinayagan naman. they don't accept food and any liquids (lotion, shampoo, conditioner, perfume, etc). any cds and dvds eh may limit sila.

that is what they told me too. in my case, we don't need to pay for pick-up fee because their office is just walking distance away from our house

well actually manila forwarders is only good if you are relocating to LA (thats Los Angeles) coz thats where your boxes will be shipped to, after that its up to you to get your things to your final destination which i found odd and completely insane!

Hello guys. It's 7 50 am now and I just got my visa delivered by delbros. Yaaayy!!! I was busy getting my daughter dress up for school when I heard our dogs kept barking and saw a man wearing a yellow raincoat saying "ma'm delbros po". I got so excited I didn't mind if I got wet in the rain. Finally!! I'm really happy.

I want to thank everyone who had been so nice to me in guiding with my visa journey. This site had helped me a lot. Y'all had been very nice, accommodating, and really helpful. THANK YOU!!!

Try calling or try emailing the school you are supposed to have your baby enrolled into. Most of the schoolsrequire the immunization record, previous school records, birth certificate and passport.

I just got my visa today too. I didn't open the whole plastic bag. I open it just enough to get my passport.

Wag ka na mag worry. I have piercing in my bellybutton and a tattoo on my chest but my medical exam is approved naman. Siguro ang nakakatawa lang sa experience ko was when I started to undress. Katatapos lang kasi ng physical exam ng anak ko. So nung ako naman sabi nya "Ayyyy si mommy kita ****!!" :wacko:

If you know the school that your daughter will be attending, try checking if they have a website malamang nakalist doon mga requirements, if not, you can try emailing them. Sa NC ka ba? anong county?

in general to enroll your child in school, you'll need their birth certificate and vaccination record. other requirements and the registration procedures will depend on the school disrict.

I have piercing in my bellybutton and a tattoo. I had my interview last June 23. I didn't have problem with my medical exam and interview.
