  1. aaad started following Sent I129F packet 2 wks back, still no NOA , Fiance Visa - Do we need to wait for Packet 3 (Morocco) [edited title] , Is "USCIS sent to NVC date" same as "NVC Receive Date" and 2 others

    I had filed 129F petition for my fiancé who lives in Morocco. The petition was approved by USCIS and the CEAC status shows "READY" (as of 11/18/2025). But my fiancé has still not received "Packet 3" or any communication from US embassy. Yesterday, I sent an email to "support-morocco@usvisascheduling.com" asking them if we can file DS160 form. Today they replied as follows: Dear Applicant, Thank you for contacting the U.S. Visa Service Desk. Once your approved I-129F petition has been forwarded to the U.S. Embassy, your fiancé may proceed with completing the DS-160 form and follow the standard instructions for scheduling a visa interview. Please carefully follow the guidance provided in your NVC or embassy communications regarding document submission and appointment scheduling. Sincerely, U.S. Visa Service Desk Does that mean we can go ahead and submit the form and schedule the interview? What is the purpose of Packet 3 in that case? What is Packet 4 and is that relevant to my case? Thanks in advance to the community

    Thanks @JeanneAdil and @Edward and Jaycel for answering. There are other applicants like myself who are confused between these two dates. e.g. https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=486923 This applicant has same as mine NOA2 (8/14), USCIS sent to NVC date (10/4). but he is considering 10/4 and NVC receive date

    I am confused if the date shown on USCIS (Sent to NVC) considered NVC receive date. or is there a lag between those two dates. I tried to search on this website, but did not find the answer. Additionally, it would be helpful if this website includes the "NVC receive date" in "Immigration Timelines (K1)"

    Thanks JeanneAdil for replying. I understand NVC will take time, but I was just asking about NOA2. I am optimistic because the applicant with noa1 of 11/29 has already received NOA2 3 weeks ago

    is there a separate thread for all the Dec2024 filers for 129f? Has anyone been approved yet? I saw one post on Reddit where this applicant had NOA1 date of 11/29/2024, and got the NOA2 on 6/3/2025.

    My packet was received at TX facility on Dec 19th. I had filled G1145 so I did received the text with case# But I have not yet received the NOA1 paper yet

    USCIS sent the whole packet back because I forgot to sign the I-129F form. I feel so dumb. They sent the packet back immediately via USPS and it was sitting in my mailbox for at least a week. I rarely check my mailbox, because I hardly receive any other mail. USCIS has put some kind of stamp at the bottom on every page. The stamp is very long with various numbers. I wonder if I can re-send the same packet again, or will I have to re-print all 50+ pages again. Does anyone have experience about this. I am thinking of calling them tomorrow

    I sent I-129F packet to Lewisville, TX address on 11/29, and Fedex tracking shows it was delivered on 12/2. I had included G-1450 form to charge my credit card for the fees. I had also included G-1145 to notify me electronically. I have still not received any notification and my credit card has not been charged. I am new to this process so I am worried if I made any mistakes What if I don't hear back for 2 more weeks? Is there a phone number I can call?
