  1. Did you have to update your green card expiry in the global entry system while your I751 was pending?
  2. Gotcha. I’m wondering if next time I travel to Canada, I can just update the information there as they have the enrollment center right there for both Canada and US. The closest enrollment center to where I live is a 9 Hour Drive.
  3. I guess issued by US? I did my Canadian interview first then my US one. Got the card in the mail at my home in the US. How do I tell who issued it? If it helps the mail came from Washington DC so I’m assuming the US. I don’t think there is an enrollment center anywhere near me. I did both my interviews at the Canadian airport. Is there a website I can go to that tells me the steps of how to update this information
  4. I guess fear mongering has gotten to me plus the fact that CBP always thinks I have a 10 year card already when in fact I don’t
  5. Yeah, they have asked me every time but let me in with no problem, but I have yet to travel with the expired card and extension letter.
  6. Also wanted to ask, when traveling with my family (spouse and child who are both us citizens), should I still use the global entry at the airport or go with them in the regular line as they do not have their global entry cards yet? Asking if it’s weird to use different lines for the same family for customs or better for me to go with them as I’m the one with the expired card and extension letter.
  7. USCIS had actually given me a 10 year green card by accident the first time and so I applied for replacement so I can get my 2 year card. Now every time I come back to the US, the CBP screen always shows them that I have a 10 year and they get confused why I have a conditional card. Now with the 48 month extension letter and expired card I hope this does not create a problem.
  8. Sounds good, can you explain what you mean by associated? I applied for my Nexus card using my green card credentials, so I am assuming it is already associated? The information Nexus has is my expiration from March 2025 but since then I have a 48 month extension letter which Nexus does not know about obviously.
  9. What happens if I am traveling abroad and my I-751 gets approved or has an RFE can I still return?
  10. Hello all, I am a CR1 with an expired green card but have the 48 month extension letter. I also have Nexus/global entry as I am a Canadian citizen. When I got my car and my green card expiration date was still valid. My question is can I still use my global entry/nexus with the extension letter?
  11. Okay got it, so basically an official letter will come in the mail. As for biometrics I also see in the portal that my biometrics is waived and they are using my previous on file.
  12. Okay got it. I also received the 48 month extension in my portal. Is this the official copy or will I be getting one in the mail as well? and if I don’t have the letter in the mail yet can I still travel without the extension letter as my CR1 Card does not expire till May?
  13. Hi everyone, I submitted my I-751 last week and logged into my USCIE account today and there’s a section called “my uploads” and it has a few of the things I submitted in my packet I-751. My question is: why did they only scan a few random documents I sent from my packet and why is it under my uploads when I never uploaded anything? thanks
  14. Hello I am filling out my i751 and have left boxes blank that don’t pertain to me. Do I leave them blank or write N/A
