Thank you We Got 2.i have just checked my online status again and they touched my son's AOS but it said that the notice they sent regarding this application was returned to them AGAIN!i might ask our mailman again tomorrow why he kept on returning my son's letters when it bears the right address  .it'll have an effect on his application if he'll (mailman) keep on doing that.and the thing is,he kept on putting n our mailbox the letter of the person who dont live there no more, weird!

Now it'll bug me what the notice is all about

Congratulations to all the september fillers that got ead, ap, interview letters and green cards recently . wohhoooooo

Today i also recieved the card production mail of my ead and the approval on my ap . yeaahhhhh babyyy!!!!

  2. Got an email from uscis telling me that my son's working permit card was returned to the post office :( .I wondered about that since when i changed my address online, they even sent me a confirmation letter that they already put my new address into their system,i even got my son's first biometric appointment notice here.also, how come they were able to deliver mine and not my son's?and before we left idaho,we went to the post office there and changed our address too.oh well....

Anyway,i already called their hotline and she told me that she made a request to deliver it again to my new address and gave me confirmation number.i hope to get it ASAP.

this has been resolved!just came back from the mailbox,i was able to talk to our mailman and i asked him why i didnt get my son's letters anymore,he asked for my son's full name and checked with other mails that he has,he found it and now i got mine and my son's EAD.YAY!!! also,he wrote my son's last name on our mail box so he wont miss it. :star:

  4. I have Smart roaming sim card,i bought it for only Php35.00 before i left,i only reloaded it 2x and always 0 balance :D but never had any problem with it.My US cellphone has an unlimited international text and that's what i use to reply to my family and friends in the Phils. There's also chikka.com to text free to the Phils.

  5. I think we made a huge mistake - my husband after arriving here and marrying me (thank you  ) on K1 has sent out AOS papers and among those he included "a copy of marriage certificate" as required in USCIS instructions. The only problem is that copy as some here suggested should be certified that is the one we got from the registrar. He filed a photocopy of that. What are we looking at here? RFE? Is it better/possible to sent an actual certified copy right now, a day after we sent out the papers or just wait and see what happens with non-certified photocopy of certified copy?

I already got our NOAs for I-485 and I-765 when i checked our AOS documents,I found out that the copy of the marriage certificate that i submitted is not the certified one,I dont know what's going to happen but our EAD has already been approved and mailed out already.

  6. My wife just received notice of her biometrics appointment. To our surprise, the appointment is in a city about 5 hours away (we had anticipated it simply being in the city we live in). Because of this, the rather short notice we were given, and some work obligations, we are considering rescheduling. But I am wondering how much of a delay this may cause...

Does anyone have any experience in this area (rescheduling a biometrics appointment)? There's no phone number to call - the notice says all we can do is send the notice back if we want to reschedule and we'll then receive a new notice with a new appointment time. My concern is having no clue how much later they'll reschedule it. If it's a few weeks or even a month later, that's fine, but I would hate to get the notice back saying the new appointment is 3 or 4 months later (or end up somehow delaying the entire AOS process by that much time, even if the actual biometrics appointment is only delayed by a week or two).

I realize that nobody here can predict this with total accuracy, and am not asking for/expecting that. But if anyone here has had to reschedule a biometrics appointment and can tell me about their experience (particularly how much delay it caused for them), that would be great. And of course, anyone who can provide any input or opinion is welcome to reply as well.

When i received my first biometric schedule,I found out that they scheduled it to where I filed my AOS(Idaho) but since we already moved here in New Mexico,I sent back all the org bio appt letters and attached a letter of request of transfer plus the change of address confirmation that the USCIS sent me to USCIS Boise ID where the original biometrics supposed to take place.I received the new bio appt sched after 9 days.we sent it overnight and had a signature confirmation to be sure that it reached it's destination.good luck

  7. congrats to all who already received their gc  and good luck to those who are awaiting interviews and approvals :star: .We did the walk-in biometrics yesterday and it was a success eventhough the old lady who assisted us was not approachable and cranky :) .last night when i checked my case status online and my email,it said "card production ordered" does this mean that mine and my son's EAD are already approved?

Check the case receipt numbers, if you both have seperate ones then it is the one it says. If it lists several with the same status then it applies to those.

i did, both case receipt numbers has the same "card production ordered".

  8. congrats to all who already received their gc  and good luck to those who are awaiting interviews and approvals :star: .We did the walk-in biometrics yesterday and it was a success eventhough the old lady who assisted us was not approachable and cranky :) .last night when i checked my case status online and my email,it said "card production ordered" does this mean that mine and my son's EAD are already approved?

  9. Wow I'm surprised you convinced her, she sounds stubborn! Glad it's over with :)

I just didnt mind her being rude and cranky,i explained our situation and kept my calm and was always nice to her :) .

btw,I have just logged-in on my account at the uscis website and it said "card production or oath ceremony ordered" on both mine and my son's I-765 ,also got an email saying the same thing :) ,that was fast!i hope we dont have any RFE.

  10. Our biometrics appointment is supposed to be on Nov 19 but since it's my husband's day off,i told him to try our luck and just go there, and so we went.inside, there was no single soul, just the guard and the 2 old uscis people.the one who assisted us was an old lady,i handed her our biometric letters and explained that we just tried to walk in because my husband just started his job last sunday and cant take a leave yet,she rudely told us that today is not nov 19,and she cant do it,my husband told her that we just tried our luck and we didnt mean to piss her off, if she cant do it then we will just leave and come back on the appointment date.while looking at the biometric letters, she asked for the orig letter,i told her that we sent back the orig letters to Boise ID and requested a transfer here in New Mexico since we're already residing here, they just sent us a photocopy of the new appointment letter, she also asked me if i was the one who wrote the apartment number,i replied No and told her that i will not tamper any govt documents,i even suggested for her to call the USCIS office at Boise. She told me that she's just giving us a warning otherwise we will be in trouble, she even asked me if we have a lawyer,i answered that we didnt need a lawyer.after those interrogations, she handed me and my son a form to fill up,afterwards she took our passports and had us proceeded to the old guy for the finger scanning and picture taking, the old lady was the one who did my son's which just took less than 3mins,while i was assigned to the old guy,who after scanning my left hand,he got a phone call and had me waited for 15mins because he had to go measure the window  and talk to somebody on the phone.the old lady was the one who finished my scanning and had my photo taken, afterwards she handed me my passport and the apointment letter back.i thanked her for accomodating us but never said a word and didnt even acknowledged me.anyway, eventhough he pissed of my husband for being rude to us but i told him to keep his cool since they're doing us a "favor" by getting our biometrics done earlier,at least we're done with our biometrics.... :)

  11. she, might be better if you ask your husband to call USEM..

And probs nasa CA sya now wala pa naka uwi eh.. grabe nya ka busy.. over time sya..

    time difference ang problems..

wala talaga PLDT d2 sa bundok namin.. grrrrrrrrr..........

what province are you from?i'm sure may kahit isang call center jan wherein they could call pldt para maconnect ka coz i remember when i was still in pldt, pag may calls sa mga places na walang phone connections meron isang place na pwedeng tawagan kahit malayo sila, ang gawa nila pinapaset na lang ng appointment sa min after a certain time na available sila.or makigamit ka na lang ng phone sa friend mo,request ka na lang sa operator ng T&C(time and charges) after the call :)

  12. yes you can, just make sure you have at least 500 pesos load on it.

Incorrect! you cannot use any prepaid cards to call USEM.you need to use either pldt or smart postpaid phone or go to pldt business centers.

OKey. thanks for the info.. what about cellphone?? to call the USEM

No cellphones either.just postpaid landline phones or the PIN or go to any pldt business/call centers.if your postpaid landline doesnt have direct dial, you can just dial operator's assistance, either 109 or 108 and they will surely help you,you can also find out right away how much it'll cost you by requesting for TIME AND CHARGES.

    good luck :)
