  1. Personally, I’d use the new passport. I don’t see any reason to keep providing the old information, but that’s just my view.
  2. I don't think you need to contact NVC periodically to keep the case active.
  3. ok that makes sense. Thanks for the update and all the best for the interview,
  4. Happy to see two ILs. Congratulations to both of you @Mano17, @Cryons4time. @Mano17, your DQ date is listed as Jul 2022 in our tracking sheet. When did you become current in VB? Trying to understand why it took this long.
  5. @Canadian24. Thanks for the clarification. Only concern with two versions is people may update different files and someone needs to consolidate it, unless we take all obsolete files offline.
  6. I used the latest link to add the column, but it looks like that file is just a copy of the original, named “June 2025 Copy Montreal EB Visas.” When I opened the original file, “Montreal EB Visas,” I wasn’t able to add the column. Instead, I got the message: "You are trying to edit a protected cell or object. Please contact the spreadsheet owner to remove protection if you need to edit."
  7. I’ve added a User Last Seen column in the spreadsheet. It’ll be really helpful if everyone can keep it updated.
  8. @Canadian24, the spreadsheet is very useful, thanks for help with maintaining it. It looks like you can edit, approve, and manage the spreadsheet. Could we add a column called "Last seen" OR "Last Visited here" to indicate when the information for each row was last confirmed or modified by the user? Right now, there’s no way to tell whether certain rows simply haven’t changed or if the data is outdated. With the added column, we'll know the information is current even if there are no changes reported.
  9. That's what I'm trying to confirm. According to the consulate website: "Most employment-based cases were documentarily complete in <date>." [ https://ca.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visa-process/ ] I'm interested in understanding what they mean by "most cases"—specifically, whether this includes all categories. If anyone in the EB-5 category with a documentary qualified date from early 2024 has received or is currently waiting for an interview letter from the Montreal consulate, please share your experience here or feel free to direct message me.
  10. Since MTL is moving very slowly, I wanted to ask if anyone here—or anyone you know—has recently received EB-5 IL or visa from MTL. If so, could you please share what your DQ (Documentarily Qualified) date was? I’m curious if EB-5 cases are being issued IL on the same timeline (12 months delay) or if they’re experiencing longer delays.
