    Hi everyone, I and my fiancée are planning to obtain our marriage certificate through self united marriage (marrying without a ceremony and an officiant). I would like to know if this special marrying process will affect my AOS process negatively, since there will be no officiant and ceremony. We went to the marriage licensing office today, we were told we only to return the license with our signatures and two witnesses signatures, then we will receive the official marriage certificate. Is this marriage certificate any different from the one with a ceremony and an officiant? Thank you

    Do I have to obtain a marriage certificate within 90 days or sending the I-485 package to USCIS within 90 days? We are waiting to obtain the marriage license. We want to obtain ssn first before getting married getting married. However, ssa office does not have an appointment until 9/9. What should I do?

    Hi everyone, My fiancée is a k1 visa holder. She just arrived in the US last Wednesday. I am planning to take her to social security administration office tomorrow to an apply for SSN, ID card, then getting married, then work permit. Any advice or suggestions? Thank you so much.

In my case, they already delayed my fiancé 7 months because USCIS lost the second page of my petition. I am thinking about writing a letter to the white house next month to beg him to ask them expedite my petition. I am not sure what the outcome would be. It is very unfair that they made a mistake and we suffer.

    We sent about twenty pictures with the petition. We did not write a timeline. At the time we submitted the petition there were not a lot of evidence. However, after one and the half year, we have more evidence now. We had met 2 times in person before we submitted the petition. We have met 5 times so far. If the CO doesn’t look at the evidence we bring, then it is very unfair for us. We have more evidence now

    Hi everyone, My I-129F petition was transferred to NVC 3 week ago. My case was given a case number. When can I upload my relationship timeline (including pictures) to NVC website? Thank you so much
