    She arrived in August 6th. Her I94 is going to be expired tomorrow. We will to file in 2 weeks. I hope everything will be ok.

    The reason is we have been collecting evidence like proof of living together, health insurance, etc. we are planning to submit it by the end of this month.

    Hi everyone, I and my fiancée got married within 90 days after she arrived in the US. We are not able to submit AOS package within 90 days of her i-94. We watched videos on Youtube about the AOS package with expired K1 visa. We are aware that we have to put out of status in question 14 part 1 page 3 and answer yes in question 76 part 9 page 21. Additionally, we have to clarify that she overstayed between date and date in part 14. Is that all that we have to do or we have to submit I-130 with our AOS package? Thank you so much!

    Hi everyone, I and my wife are filling out our I-485 application. We are not sure if we have a priority date in our I797C. Our I797C only has the received date. I do not see anywhere it says priority date. Is our priority date the received date? Should we put the received date in the priority date box in our I-485? Thank you so much.

    To be clear, we did the self-uniting marriage. We live in Pennsylvania. The people at the court said just have two witnesses sign the marriage certificate and return it. We did. And they gave us the official marriage certificate back and we also paid $30 for the exemplified copy which the lady said we need for immigration purposes. I attached the original marriage certificate and exemplified copy below. Please tell us if that is enough for i 485.

    The lady at the courthouse said for immigration purposes, the exemplified marriage certificate is what I need. I am still confused whether I need certified marriage certificate vs exemplified one. Could anyone please let me know which one I need?

    Hi everyone, I and my fiancée are planning to obtain our marriage certificate through self united marriage (marrying without a ceremony and an officiant). I would like to know if this special marrying process will affect my AOS process negatively, since there will be no officiant and ceremony. We went to the marriage licensing office today, we were told we only to return the license with our signatures and two witnesses signatures, then we will receive the official marriage certificate. Is this marriage certificate any different from the one with a ceremony and an officiant? Thank you

    Do I have to obtain a marriage certificate within 90 days or sending the I-485 package to USCIS within 90 days? We are waiting to obtain the marriage license. We want to obtain ssn first before getting married getting married. However, ssa office does not have an appointment until 9/9. What should I do?

    Thank you so much for your advice. How long did your wife get her green card after she started the application? I wonder if my fiancée can work before receiving her green card. We are planning on getting ssn card first before getting married. Some people said if we getting married first, she won’t get her ssn until she receives her green card.
