anyone in the uk who has done the k1 visa medical could you please give me some help. phoned the embassy today the guy said you just have to turn up at the doctors. so i called the knightsbridge doctors and they were no help. the lady said we dont deal with visa issues and your not registered!!! she was crazy. so iv heard there is a doctor phelan??? basically i just need an address of a us embassy doctor.

could someone give me some advice?

oh right, so the only definately thing id have to pay for is the actual medical. £180 right? anyhing else is just a pre warning that i "should" have them

thanks for the reply guys. im in the uk and its just taking so long. im going to give the embassy a call next week. sorry about the timline thingy, just havent had time to sort it out but its been a good year and 3 or 4 months so far and still thinking i have load of months to go. im getting a bit pissed off really. i feel like theres nothing going to happen. oh well i guess il just have to wait and see what they say on the phone

hey peeps, got my visa approved last october, waited for about 3-4 months and heard nothing so i phoned the us embassy in london and they said they sent out the necessary forms on dec 2 2007!!! but i didnt receive anything. a week went by and i finally got them. i filled out the forms with all the details and sent them back. the thing is, its been a month now, still not heard anything and dont know what to do now. i have my police certificate, affidavit of support, money and i feel like i should be doing something in the meantime............anyhelp?

Some consulates send out a packet 4... some do not. Some take longer than others. It sounds as though you're right on course but it's hard to help when there is no information in your timeline about what consulate you are dealing with.

erm, well its hard to remember after so long. its been about 14 months now. last october 2007 we heard that we had been nicis approved and i didnt recieve anything until march 10 2008 and now its been almost 3 weeks and still nothing new.

hi, my fiancee and i have been in the k1 process for over a year now and only received one packet from the embassy. im not sure what they are doing now. i havent heard anything in almost 3 weeks since i sent off the forms in the packet i received. if anyone can give me any help that would be good. thanks guys and girls.
